I miss listening to you saying "NICE!", and "FULL TRIGGER...FULL TRIGGER!", and best of all: "50 Knots and no smoke..Come on!" You're getting really good at getting around those Christmas trees too... 😉
I appreciate the kind words doc. I guess I repeat myself quite a bit in my videos. Some of its intended but some of the repeat I intend on editing out and miss during the editing process. I had some complaints about it so I figured I'd just not say shi!! Lol.
No man I love the Ironclad commentary! Learn so much from listening to what your saying as the boat is running. Good for a change up to have just footage, but keep jacking your jaws brother!!
That boat is wicked!! Are you rolling on the throttle or mashing? Any strut/stinger adjustments? I'd check the propeller ensure it's balanced and sharp. That sounds almost like it's full throttle with no load on the motor out of the hole. Towards the end of the sprint, you have her pretty dialed in..those Temps are low low Nice!!
@@IRONCLADRC Nice!!! Ya bud you're absolutely are steeping OUT and rolling on the water like a shot!! Always loved the Red BLackJacks. Finally broken down and purchased BJ29 2 or 3v can't recall...so bummed it arrived damaged from shipping 💔 ...waited for a long time for a warranty swap. Finally took a credit towards a Zelos 36. Curious if you have ever run or owned a BJ29? Interedtrd in YO on how the 24 tracks and performs overall vs 29 all things considered? 🤔
I had a buddy with the 29 I was able to run it once all stock. The 29 handles corners much better than a 24. The 24 is a great boat but my opinion need to be upgraded to get any decent speed. The 29 on the other hand comes basically ready to go. Basically.
Hey man on that sonic wake when you slid batteries back and you put back in water and got on it it acted as though it had a clutch like slipping you could hear it winding but boat wasn't going as fast as it sounded then she all of a sudden comes alive! What cause that ?
That is the propeller cavitating (kinda like it's stirring up air bubbles) until it "hooks up". It happens with a lot of surface prop applications. Edit: Right around 3:20 you can see it.
@@Dr_Jet yeah I have seen this happen with a few boats I was messing around with props and I couldn't figure out wtf was going on , lol now say that is happening but the boat doesn't ever actually get going , is that due to too big or small of a prop or set up issue or ?
Trying to find the boats sweet spot seems like it preforms better with the battery's 5000 50/100c slid back. With the battery's forward the boat tended to skip in a corner, your right when I slid the battery's back it definitely made a huge difference in speed and handling
@@rocketrobbie619 Usually too small of s prop for the power available. I had that issue on my outrigger and finally went with a prop that seems too big,.... but it works.

I have both. Spartan does 50 w stock drive train and prop w tabs and cooling added. Sonic V1 out of the box does 52. 2x 3s 60c. Dynamite gps. Spartan more stable but still have a little wobble at top end. Never flipped the Spartan. Love them both. Enjoy! Any suggestions on getting a little more from my Spartan?

Sonicwake is 100% stock, the Blackjack 24 is upgraded to the moon been working on the Blackjack for over a year now! Just having some fun enjoy!
Thank you for sharing this great video! 👍👍
You're an unstoppable man, I love it🙂
When RC Boaters lose their minds bro! Awesome boats 👌🏻👌🏻
these are crazy cool.👍
That new sonicwake man that thing is ballistic that's a nice boat
Would that Octura X637 prop be to small for the Sonic Wake??? I'm not sure what's the diameter of the prop on the Sonic Wake.
Yes it's to small you'd have better performance with the x642
@@IRONCLADRC Ok thanks bro your the best👍👍👍💯💯💯

Rolling on it. The prop was perfectly balanced needs to be sharpened of course but the v2 was handling nice.

That's a good idea 💡 I can make that happen.
@@IRONCLADRC i know you can brother.
That little blackjack cat is very impressive . The big sonic mono is very good for a stock hull . Why so quiet , I miss the commentary .
Thanks brother. Yea the blackjack is an old build I pulled out recently trying to break 60_65mph with it.
@@IRONCLADRC you can't please everyone. I enjoy watching and listening to your commentary as it seems you are having fun . Please continue as before .
Thank you very much.
What's the diameter of that Octura X637 prop???
1.6 pitch 37mm diameter
The bottom of the V2 SonicWake looks like glass
I know right you could see my yaba daba doo feet. Lol
How fast was the Blackjack ?
