I got the 101T! I went from an old game improvement clubs. Not as forgiving but feels better and Im able to control the ball more. I feel like the Caley would be the same
I wanted to get some tacomo irons but only steel shafts was a deal breaker, I have had 3 shoulder and a wrist surgery I need graphite . I purchased used Mizuno pro 225 …. Saved $500 and got graphite recoil shafts. Picked up 4 MPH on my 7 iron OMG , these new clubs with foam inside are awesome.
Graphite shafts have been available in the Takomo since at least the beginning of 2023. I bought myself a set for my birthday in early February. I'm not sure how much before then they were available. The 101s and Obsidian shafts are excellent clubs.
Just a suggestion Maltby from The Golf Works. They are DTC, recently bought the TS1 forged. They are 2 piece forged face, top line thin, thin sole and hollow body. Love em !! Steel or graphite option or purchase and assemble yourself if you like.
Unfortunately none of these guys will ever do a review of Maltby. These brands all send stuff out for free to get RUclips marketing and clearly it works and no shame in that. Golfworks/Maltby refuses to participate in that game and figure the lights and bills are getting paid just fine with word of mouth and cult following. Not saying I love that idea because I'd love to see their clubs just demolish these regurgitations of expired foundry models that keep getting so much hype. I play the TS4's, built a set of TS3's, and KE4 MAX for friends, and they aren't just "good for the price".. they're just damn good period. It's going to take a RUclips reviewer willing to cough up the $ to pay for a set to be made. Not seeing that happening unfortunately.
Further option is to just buy the RAM FX77s at £275 as they are the same heads anyway, from most likely the same Chinese supplier. I did back in April and play them again Apeks CF16 with the same stiff flex of graphite's. Exact same feel accuracy and distance.
I agree all the dtc brands are the same shit. I would think cb would be the way to go probably last a lot longer being forged vs two piece polymer injected
I’m a high handicap but still love golf looking at lofts the Takomo 101 and the caley 01 seem to stack up the same numbers I definitely need forgiveness and help on distance which set would you recommend are would it come down to just the look’s between the two
I am trying to decide between the 101's and the 101T's i want graphite shafts there is two to choose from Obsidian and Fujikara Atmos Red which do you think is the better shaft for height and distance anyones advice is welcomed thx cheers from Canada
When selecting from their website (Caley) I see no mention of whether shafts are steel or graphite and their weights. Takomo say they do graphite but won’t let me make that choice.

I ordered the takomo 101t irons,the site said i would be notified of postage in 3-6 working days. 7 working days later i contacted takomo to find out why i had not received word of my order. They replied 3-6 days was an error on the site,and it would be a further 2-3 weeks before i received my order, I'm not holding my breath. This is my first time dealing with Takomo,and will be my last.

I have the 95 gram recoil Shafts in My Mizuno’s ,5 Shoulder and 3 Left wrist Surgeries ,Hit them great !!

He beat me to it takomo offers graphite shafts since the beginning of the year.
They also have Fujikura Atmos Red graphite shaft( I got the Senior flex).I have mine in February. And loving it!

I built the KE4 MAX this year. The clubs are VERY forging. Great feel too :)

When you are looking at the 101T underneath the add to cart button it says ‘Customize your set’ this will let you select graphite shafts
