I love how everyone has their own way of using Reason, and they always end up using the original devices in some capacity At 21:08 when he just grabs a few NN-XTs for the drums, I was like "But KONG ?" And of course, that was in order to tune the 808s. What works works ! :)
I loved the presentation and think the final track came out well, but I will say that the sound was so compelling in grain I probably would have built a track around that rather than putting it in a Trap track. Trap in my humble opinion is getting pretty cliched. I do dig a lot of it but I think u get where I am coming from. Genius video , Thank you.
I don't think I could use that, but keep 'em coming. Maybe try something that is a bit more rhythmic, combining the grain stuff with the original, all chopped up for a modern and interesting R&B/hip-hop style. Also for bass (we are finally moving away from the 808's a bit and making new bass sounds with hard D&B type bases in modern R&B pop). Also, try some more melodic elements that are not so "drone like". Looking forward to the next one. Good video editing by the way.
I think Reason Studios should take the sound packs from Reason+ and just make it a subscription with credits outside of plus kind of like Splice but for Reason. I'll never get the plus subscription. But, I would like access to the sound packs.
2 Major YT Channels using Reason for a long time just quit using Reason this week alone. Any Thoughts Reason Studios? Love to hear your take and reactions or changes.
There are alwasy people moving. Some people would rather move than make the most of where they are. Happens with Bitdgic, Fruit Reaper, CubeAss, etc people too.
@@BK-iw1zm Sadly often the case. if you look tho there has been an exodus of Content Creators recently as no one is getting much of anything. So that is not a Reason thing as these people are painters, knitters... I can't be bothered anymore really either as unless people are being abusive, they return nothing for the effort it takes. So there isn't even a warm inner glow from making vids about yer fave subject and building/supporting a community. :-(
Please, please no claps. For the love of samples, please no more damned claps. The rest is, jlang, all good. I love creative manipulation of samples to create new sounds and music. But if I never hear another "clap" track (and they're always "claps" at this point), that would be fine with me. They last sounded nearly fresh in maybe the first months of 1984. Robot high hats are also a common malady with the zip-a-tone sixteenth notes inflicting ennui across modern music, but we all know this. No one calls out the abysmal clap habit, however. That being so, I have done my bit of public service.
No point using Reason if you just want to hear standard samples. Reason is about creative sound possibilities, just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't valid as a tutorial.
Comment something useful because I don't see any tutorials on your page. There's a lot we could say about DJ's here. Go play some 2-5-1's on a guitar or something.
Thanks for having me on the channel, let’s do it again sometime!

Grain is best for making interesting melodic sounds to fill in space in the song. Thats how I use it.
Awesome tutorial and info.... I never use Grain as it just boggled my mind, but now i can see ideas of how i would use this... Brilliantt and thanks.
Sounds awesome, thanks bro! appreciate seeing how your workflow works

A "heaven"-esque brass section on 2nd chorus would have sounded so amazing...
Grain ans Mimic are my go to!!!!!
Grain + pulsar = 🔥
Hey the Tracklib guy! Dope to see you here.
You can stop the devices loading patches in preferences so they load up initialised. 👍
Reason is so damn fun to make music with. Well done in this video by the way

When you say you wouldve built around it, which direction/genre would you go for?

My reaction when I hear the "Wow" from Fairy tale in the intro of this video... :D

I smell an Arcade type of agreement.....

I always found Grain strange and quite useless, and I still do. 😆
Wonderful 🎉
Cool process!

Will be no different
Grain works the same, but mimic was added in reason 12.
JLang looks like he could easily fit into a simpsons episode.
facts it's the mustache for sure

That's because they aren't getting the views (paycheck) they want.

You know how it work, but in general sounds weird..
Never understand why they don t do this type of video for every plugin or vst...

Sorry, your reverb needs improvement. Sounds rusty. Play it cool.

Do you won't a trap Hi hat instead?
Why waste time putting the samples in and then resetting the device and having to then put the samples back in again?
Exactly
