The chemistry between you and your wife is straight up inspirational. Every man should dream to have a wife, kids and family life, like the one you have! Family is everything! Love from Southern Ontario 🇨🇦 👊
Because of all of the hormones in store bought food, most men act more like women and women act like men. It's a rare thing to see real men any more, but we got 'em in Alaska. Once you get out of Anchorage anyway.
I’ve been watching you for years, it makes me happy to see you & your family prospering! Now I have a son who’ll be here next month & I can’t wait to be a great dad like you! You’re a great role model
Imagine if you sent this to him as a letter, and he didn't have a youtube! 😂👀
I was literally saying exactly this in my head when I opened the comments
Love th family & th ecitement& fun they're havn ,isn't thats wat its all about keep it cmmn

That is some solid logic.
That fish wasn’t done cooking
@@MrGoonMe it was steamed bro it was cooked through
You guys are just living the dream. So happy for you. Great family.
As someone from the UK it’s hard to comprehend how far you’ve travelled from Florida to Alaska. I’m in London and closer to New York than Jupiter to Anchorage, insane.

America is a BIG country, for sure.
@@1notgilty hell yeah it is. I mean Texas and Alaska are bigger than some country’s
It’s great that your kids have such wonderful parents who give them these experiences
Seeing the most beautiful place on the most beautiful channel on RUclips. It just doesn't get any better than this y'all🙏

@@deermeatfordinner Hey rob say my Thankyou to Emma for making a card for us we loved that haha❤️😂
I don't know what the odds were, for us to end up on the same fishing trip you were on, but we had a fantastic time sharing the boat with you and Austin. Both great guys to spend a day on the water with.
Oh, and did Sarah forvige you for forgetting to leave her the car keys? 🤣
I can confirm this since I work with the guy. 😆
Pontchatoula Louisiana that’s where I’m from
I was lucky to have my grandfather take me there when I was younger, about 23 years ago. We had a guide, who got us on some coho salmon. Some of the best fishing, and scenery I've ever explerienced. You are a great parent and husband for bringing your family to such a place. I hope to go back at some point, when I can afford the trip.
So jealous of you, your family and the lifestyle that you live. Absolutely amazing brother you are a real role model. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing I love everything about it. Great content here 👍🏼
Bula vinaka! Was so suprised to hear "Bula vinaka...." the beginning of the video...

Stay blessed Ropate!

Bula taciqu. That was me
It’s so funny. I live in Alaska and just binge watch the fishing in Florida and all the stuff you do everyday. Then you come up here and do what I do all the time. Fishing is just amazing!

It’s so cool to see someone actually show the beauty of Alaska. It’s crazy to see my home from this point of view.

Bula Vinaka!! Never thought I’d see an introduction from a fellow Fijian on this channel, nevertheless in Alaska! 🇫🇯 🇫🇯
Family time is priceless. The 2 princesses probably will cherish that moment forever. Food looks delicious, simple seasoning.
I think I have fishing luck. When I was young, I went fishing with a stick, paper clip, and a worm. I caught a bunch of tiny fish; I don’t know what they were, but they were mine. I took them home and put them in my drawer where they sat, until my mom found them and tossed them out. I would still have them if she hadn’t done that. This guy Robert, he has fishing luck. He gets the perfect catch every time and you can’t fake that. He can’t pay the fish. I’ve also watched him get his rear end handed to him while fishing so, he’s not faking it. It’s fishing luck. I’m totally addicted to this channel and beautiful family.
Honestly, when you're in Alaska, hands down, those are your BEST videos!! 10/10 Please keep them coming.
I love how he casually clubs that fish in the head and continues like nothing 😂😅🤣

Alaska is pretty epic. My wife is from there and I was stationed there for 6 years. One of the best fishing areas in the world! Glad to see u had a blast.
I fished in Soldotna for Halibut in 2006. I stayed for five days, and had the most memorable moments of my life
Long live Alaska!!
Dalton Clayton there’s halibut in soldotna? Lol. You mean deep creek? Soldotna is on kenai river.
@@daltonclayton5135 You sure about that?
Thank you for bringing me to my computer screen your Alaska adventure. In 1979 I graduated medical scholl. My dream was to fish Alaska. When I got to the border to Alaska I was told I had 1500 miles of gravel driving that would take the paint off my new Ford Van that I customized in my spare time. My heart felt thanks to you. May the Lord bless you.
that's nice man
I got a big laugh towards the end when you’re buttering the corn “when you’re on vacation, who cares”.. lol.. I have never ever seen you shy away from good ole BUTTER..lol... love it brother, press on!
I love when anglers share their experience, knowledge and kudos even to new anglers. It's so heartwarming to see, I love it.

I am a single father with a son and a daughter. I would love nothing more than to be able to do that kind of stuff with my kids. I'm so jealous. I guess I'll just keep living vicariously through you guys thank you.
I grew up in Wrangell, AK. I love this video. 18 years fishing, hunting, and hiking. Parents still live there. Southeast is the best! I lived in Seward for a very long time. Worked at the prison there for 10 years.
I've been waiting for an AK video! Hands down the best RUclips channel. Thanks for getting me riled up for my Alaska trip in 25 days!! Fingers crossed for a Kenai River video.
This man here is a true legend, I love watching him fish, clean, cook. Just an awesome guy.
I told my wife I'm inspired by you and your brother. Y'all are some amazing God fearing men. Crazy part; my brother has two boys and I have two girls. Remain humble, and keep doing what you're doing even when you're not doing what you're doing.
16:27 "What a stud fish dude" *bonk*
does that kill the fish? that’s what i thought 😂 but idk
@@ddawgy I'm pretty positive it does kill the fish which is what you would want to "humanley" kill. I'm certainly not a fishing expert or even hobbyist for that matter but I was curious about this myself so I did a little digging. From everything I've learned that bonk on the head does kill them rather than only knocking them out. Things were a tad confusing at first because I've heard a lot of popular fishing youtubers like ace videos describe it as "knocking them out".
@Dylan Myers
If done properly with suitable tools like in this case, yes. Otherwise there's nothing keeping you from going in for another bonk or two if you think the fish is just stunned. Personally I bonk a couple times and then stab the brain and twist the knife just to make sure. Make sure it's completely out if you intend to be humane about bleeding it.
I came to the comment section literally to see if anyone else had the same reaction I had at 16:27 😂😂😂😂
Ladies and gentlemen! I present you, the most awaited video in all RUclips!! 🙏

I got something in my eye when the beautiful, female yellow eye was cut open and thousands of potential new fish were wasted.
I remember when I went to Alaska, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Made me appreciate and love nature a WHOLE lot more !
Alaska is such a special, beautiful place. The scenery makes it so majestic.

THIS CHANNEL IS FREAKIN AWSOME!!! ITS DEFINITELY THE NUMBER ONE CHANNEL ON RUclips!!!!!
Yeah I’m from California and was just in Alaska on a commercial fishing trip. It’s literally the most beautiful state the United States has to offer. I love it
watch ‘fishing the wild’ ..there are a lot of great content creators on here, to say which one is the best, I couldn’t.
I enjoyed the whole video, but the best part was the father praying with his beautiful family. You sir are MAN in the very best sense of the word.
This makes me want to go back so bad! The fishing, the wildlife, the land and the people were all phenomenal!
My favourite channel always love from Ghana Africa. My dream to meet you and your sweet family one day
I was getting worried. You haven’t post in a little bit. Good to see you doing okay.
You should come to Maine, its beautiful up here, a lot like Alaska especially up north
Thank u EMA ,that yellow fish 🐠 was a first for me ,,you’re blessed Robert so is your family?,, more good things to come for you and your family
Love it,love it because these brothers catch to eat. Catch and release just for sport is a form of taking advantage of a lesser species. Keep up the process without waste.
Its always been my dream to go alaskan salmon fishing and i finally get to go next week!! Wish me luck guys!
Salmon won’t he good for another few weeks. Some reds In Seward and upper kenai and possibly some Kings. but late July is best time for coho, pinks, sockeye, and chums. What and where do you plan on fishing?
Make sure you don’t go out the day there’s a bunch of fishing boats
Reds are starting to run in the Russian river
The LORD blessed you greatly. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.

Man this video touched my heart! I usually see Robert saying “I wish my girls were here” and now they are ☺️🙏
Ha......those guys didn't know what to think about the jigging. They are probably used to dropping bait, letting it sit, and waiting for a bite. Great job. Awesome fishing trip. Tks for sharing.
You guys make my day when I see your videos it's always soothing new and believe it or not but I know how to fillet fish from watching your videos . So thank you
Finally... The State of Alaska.
"The Last Frontier".
Always put a fish full of eggs back. It ensures more of the same fish in the future. This is rule number one!
Sure is !
Yeah
Goldfish are an invasive species that damage the environment because they have no enemies or predators that are going after them
Hit it with a stick. Later be surprised it has eggs in it. Hahahah
If more people know this and understand because of ur comment then u made a big difference.

Funny story about the eyes! Caught my first pier king from Apache Pier here in Myrtle Beach. We’d cut the eyes out and the next time we kingfished we’d throw the eyes back to the king gods for good luck. I have mason jars full of eyes from all sorts of fish since then. They dry out rock hard like a marble. I’ve worked on charter boats for a long time here in Myrtle, and always cut them out for our guests so they have an extra souvenir from their trip.
Great video. Another good thing about Alaska is you can catch fish at 1am without a headlamp.

He went through that fish in 30 seconds flat lol. I’d let him clean it too 🤣😂
It takes 40-50 years for that fish to get that big probably even older. The older I get the softer I become and I gotta let them go now. It’s all about sustainability for me now, not bashing you. I just would’ve let that one go knowing the age and it being full of eggs.
