    so, i have to comment, as I live in zone 6...I have finally germinated my red sugar apple seeds>>>>>I did ALOT of research and i put all three methods to work.First I soaked in water for 4 days>>then I put in a paper towel method and put them on a heat mat for about 2 weeks and ,once i threw them outside when it was 80 degrees for a day, THEN i put them in a seed tray with the little hole pointing up, covered just lightly with soil>>put a top on and put back on heat mat>>>guess what>>>sugar apple seedlings i do see>>>barely popping out of seed but i am very excited>>4 seeds so far has popped>>>>

    • @Fern1
      @Fern1  6 лет назад +2

      It depends on how cold and how long. I have similar problem to some of my mangos and sugar apple, but it was only couple days of 35f weather so now most of them have new buds. It's best to leave it alone and water it like you would usually do. It its a tropical fruit tree after all. And it might wake up and shoot buds again. I wouldn't uproot and throw away yet
