Thank you to sharing it, it's the genial method, just a little sentence, you forgot to telling us, how long have be growning from the seed day and to the day frutifacation, it's will be interesting to knowing. I'm found you're have got the best and simple method. Bravo !!!
I germinate 16 seeds , 8 developed roots, after placing in soil. Only one grow up to 1 inch. The process took 7 weeks. I m not sure at which speed it grows.
Hi, do the seeds in the paper towel need to get wet every day or just that one time at the beginning is enough? And do they need to be in a dark place or light? Thanks
Thank you for watching. Just that one time and can be inside of a room or patio. I find that also start them in potting tray works, it's just take longer. But u have to keep it moist all the time
I bought my sugar apple tree but time but it rained with some hail the leaves got frozen will it grow back leaves and still give us fruits its my first time
It depends on how cold and how long. I have similar problem to some of my mangos and sugar apple, but it was only couple days of 35f weather so now most of them have new buds. It's best to leave it alone and water it like you would usually do. It its a tropical fruit tree after all. And it might wake up and shoot buds again. I wouldn't uproot and throw away yet
Raise cherimoya it survives to 4000 meters in South America I have one in central Florida lost all its leaves at 22degf all came back in spring which is end of feb here 9b
+ahmedniaz8 yes you can germinate it in any weather because you keeping the seeds inside of your house. But sugar apple is a tropical fruit so it requires to be atleast zone 9. Which minimum cold temperature is around 40F. And it require hot humid weather.
Hi, Thanks for the excellent video. I have few questions. 1. Where do you live? 2. After how many years the tree started fruiting?. Waiting for your response. Thanks.
I found a heat mat work great if not living in a tropical climate>>I am in zone 6 and with the help of a heat mat>>>I am finally successful with seedlings popping up, although it takes some time for them to bust their shell....
I did the same method you showed but my seeds are starting to smell really really bad also there’s some kind of gooey substance around them. Is it normal? Or is it bad? What shall I do?
i have a timelaps of growing them from seed if you want too watch it :) also dont put them in a bag if they are not fresh from the fruit it usully doesnt work
It's came back after winter, it's not quite florist like other plants, but no one graft tropical fruit plants here in Florida beside mangos. So to come by a good grafted sugar apple, jack fruit, sour soup etc plants are none. All Goya be done done from seeds
No it’s not the fastest way get some gibberellic acid ( plant growth regulator) and mix very small amount in cup of water soak seeds for three or four days they will sprout
