Erwin has searched for answers to the big questions in life by studying the great religions of the world. That quest has combined his curiosity, spirituality, and creativity, turning him into one of the most important thought leaders in the world. He founded MOSAIC, one of the most influential and innovative churches in America, and has written more than a dozen books that dig deep into our beliefs about religion, consciousness, and the essence of life.
Erwin is also an entrepreneur and an incredible designer.
I’ve never met a man like Erwin who can effortlessly move from profound subject to another with such ease. And rarely have I walked away with so many things to think about.

(Ed you've been on my list for awhile and even made my vision board ;))Thank you for introducing him into our lives and blessing us with an introduction to his incredible mind and points of view. Once I finally read the Bible (which was ironically years after speaking the words "I will never read the Bible.") I started calling it the most detailed and powerful self-help book ever written. The Bible hands down allows us to find ourselves and realize who we are created to be. Anyone who doubts that God guided the authors of the Bible have not thoroughly looked at the Bible as the ultimate self-help book. No humans have that level of understanding about who we are, not even today, so forget about having that kind of knowledge two thousands years ago. Only our CREATOR knows us better than we can ever know ourselves and therefore provide us with the knowledge and wisdom we need to be who we are created to be. I hope someday I'll be able to share with you how I ended up on my knees giving my life to God and what a HUGE role He continues to play in my life. God has gifted me with the vision of an amazing future and everyday I create. I love how Erwin explained that and described our responsibility in creating a better future for others to step into/live in. It's definitely a mission God gave me. But there's also something else I've learned from God/about God. God is much more interested in who we become than what we achieve. Our purpose is designed to push us to be best version of ourselves. The most valuable creation is change in ourselves.

Great to hear Men sharing how God needs to be at the centre of their lives because they are drawn by love first, then everything flows from that place, eg creation, relationships, action, results etc, women have been saying this for a long time in my experience. Lovely to hear your personal story Ed about your faith and how it impacts and structures all you be. Love and action is a constant theme in the bible. Jesus was so loving and practical. Everything he said and did came from love. Healing, preaching, speaking, creating, questioning, turning the tables over in the temple. When I be love I do love. Love is an action word. Be doers of the word not just hearers. Thankyou Ed for shining more light on how we can do this and being such a strong example of what is possible, with love, grace and kindness.

Man Powerful Talk, as a Christian who walked through many trials divorce as a young boy, death as a young teen, drugs alcohol abuse into my early 20’s to his life being lead to my wife with A Christian upbringing and growing together through thick and thin and now in my thirties with this 2.6million dollar per year business I’m just like wow god is good and I wish more people could know him. I just want to say thank you for the content I listen to it often funny thing is I’ve never heard of Erwin and that makes me hopeful knowing that maybe “my story” could help change lives and help save generations. Wow Ed, I am an avid fan...but this is my favorite show yet! I paused and wrote things down A LOT, teared up several times, yelled out in agreement or laughter more than I ever have during any talk or show! I never heard Erwin before. I was so moved too by the emotion you can see in his eyes throughout the show-to see a man be so vulnerable and deep with such passion brings tears to my eyes even as I write this-It is too rare, and I'm so thankful for him from afar! (I've been so thankful to see this in you too...a big part of what makes me a fan, your authenticity and willingness/eagerness to feel and receive/explore deep things) So much of what he shared I know will influence parts of the book I'm writing. The timing of this was perfect for me, and full of more answers for me, next steps forward if you will, to what God has been revealing to me this week! WooHoo! I fully agree with all that he said-I felt like my spirit yelled out a big YES!!! in agreement. The part he said to you about how that you didn't just learn to monetize better...but that you learned your VALUE better really hit me. I need to spend some time on that one. I've been squashing that potential and not valuing myself, holding back sharing my value for various reasons. Ive been fighting letting money be a marker of my value. ( I think in a false sense of humility, a sense of shame about it - a shame about "exaulting" myself... I need to explore that!) I'm feeling so blessed and overwhelmed. True humility would be in recognizing the value, the resource we are, and what we imagine was created by God - and that needs to be, was intended to be shared with the world! When we keep it to ourselves (as if it it/we are of/on our own and not the purpose of God...that is pride, selfishness, and a lack of understanding of who God is. THAT is humbling. It is our responsibility to be good stewards of this resource (ourselves/our gifts/talents/skills) that God has given to us! I know this will continue to speak to me and motivate me, I'm going to listen to it a couple more times this week

Ed, I have been admiring your incredible faith non-stop for several weeks now. My faith has, for fifteen years, always been tinged with skepticism. Last night I asked God to convert that skepticism into a faith like yours. God guided me to this video, and I am so grateful. Only in my thirties did I start to feel love for people because, as a child, I felt hated by my parents, so I never learned to feel loved and know love. Hi Ed. Been watching your channel for a few years now. This is by far one of the best. I love Erwin McManus. I lost my Dad a little over a year ago, (I’m very sorry to hear of your Dads passing) and it was earth shattering, but I never let my Faith lack like I did after returning from Iraq, but I have been emotionally drained. I have been on a quest to understand God more and I fully believe that we are here to serve and give ourselves away. Thank you for your content..I value you and appreciate you giving yourself away. Thank you for this talk with Erwin McManus. Most refreshing view/s on FAITH I've heard in a while. Rare indeed are the folks whose faith candle is burning so brightly that it cannot be ignored. A genuine pleasure to have stumbled across this "out of the blue" .. at exactly the right time. :)
I have listened so many podcast, but this one is hands down one of the most impactful podcast!
I will not use my imagination to escape my world. I will use my imagination to create my world. People are depressed because their imagined world do not align with their current world.
Most religions teaches how to get to God, but Christianity teaches how God gets to us. Love is sacrifice and God showed his unconditional love by putting himself in a human and sacrificing for us.
There was just so much more. I will need to listen this one one more time for sure.

That was a very touching show. I'm soon approaching 50 like you, an age that for many is a sign of ageing for me is a sign of renaissance. I'm close into my fruition as a human being and that is thanks to Jesus.
Last year my faith began to finally rise and with that my life's purpose has been restored. People like you have played a role in that, I have watched many of your shows and have admired your courage to speak not only as a man but as a human being.

Coming into my current line of work, I was not close to any sort of faith. Mostly energy was where I surrounded my belief. As I continued to proceed I saw that those who truly enjoyed success were close to God and I accepted that, even became baptized. Still, I persisted with questions and secretly held doubt. Today, I reached a point in my life that I went seeking for answers and believe this was it. Definitions and explanations I could only have hoped to have tripped upon after years of searching...
