- Have you ever been caught in your worst moment?
This week Pastor Erwin McManus continues our series in the book of John with a fresh understanding of what God sees when we are at our lowest moment.
We enter into the story of an adulterous woman who was dragged naked into the public, surrounded and accused by the religious elite of the day. These Pharisees told Jesus that according to the law, the woman should be stoned for her actions.
But Jesus changed the conversation entirely. He turned to the Pharisees and said, "Let the one who has never sinned cast the first stone." Then, Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground, effectively drawing a line in the sand. One by one, the Pharisees dropped their stones and walked away.
With this one action, Jesus silenced the voice of condemnation in the woman’s life.
We are not defined by our lowest moments because God is always speaking hope over us.
Even at your worst, God sees you at your best.

This is probably the 5th time I heard this message within an hour . One of the best messages I've heard as to addressing how the enemy becomes to stop us from receiving the cleansing of all our unrighteousness based on what Christ is done. It reminds me of how people how try to hold you hostage to your past . When Christ came to set the captives free. And in trying to hold you hostage to your past it can if you forget about the God our God cames give us an abundant life.

7:50 it’s amazing to me how many people for thousands of years have been mouthpieces for God, letting you know that God’s mad at you! That … that God is all about condemning you and judging you! 8:17 And if Jesus ever had a perfect opportunity to condemn someone, here it was! 8:27 If God was all about condemnation and judgement, this would have been His moment!
Our Lord,God and Saviour did create the simplest of fabrics (H²O) to sustain life here on earth.
Just as the Jordan and the Euphrates are made of this fabric, so to also are the Bow and the Elbow.
Habakkuk 3:9
Thy bow was made quite naked (bare),
according to the oaths of the tribes
(oaths were sworn over your arrows),
even thy word, Selah.

It's sad when we can be forgiven by God and not from man kind until we need forgiveness . And then it's a whole new ballgame . It's true people want to keep you where you used to be . Ignoring that you don't even live there anymore. And when they bring it up it's like did you bring it up because you wanna keep me in that place so I could be taking advantage of well I don't think so because old things have passed away and Old things have become new. To God be all the glory.
