A good thing to do with the fatal forever night is go into the sandbox settings and make it so the utilities never go out, but pare this with the power outages mod and you have a very fun experience. Very much recommended.
The nutshell of it: US Nuclear powerplants are peak reliable.... But a few Brandon tier admnistrations left the other parts... Not in such great state. Expect rolling blackouts.
Playing a “save the world” challenge. Sprinters high pop and I have the find the vaccine mod where you can dissect corpses to make a cure it’s really though you need a bunch of chemicals and the blood you need goes bad. After I make the cure I have to get the stuff to do the wolfs extraction quest and get out. It’s incredibly hard
An idea to make the good citizen challenge easier for players: If a zombie is near you to raise your arms up, you could say they’re threatening you and you can fight back in a sort of “Self defense”
My favourite challenge is one which I like to call "Vanilla Stable Build", where I suppress the temptation to install any mods by living vicariously through people on YT before returning to the game... ;-) P.S. If anyone knows of a map mod which swaps Knox County for somewhere in Australia, then let me know... after all, if I was testing out a virus on a population, I'd probably create the "Gold Coast Event" or something fun like that!

I believe the hardest challenge in this game, is the vanilla experience. I haven't lasted longer than 6 in game days

CDDA Horde survival is pretty easy way building a zombie kill box where they can't touch you, but you can still attack with guns or spears.
Oh yeah I forgot about the kill box! I think that would be the only way

Pushing should be fair game if you cant just move away from the assaulting zombie. But absolutely no killing-
