The US economy cannot survive without continuous credit and debt creation. The FED will print more money and the average American will go just that much further in debt. Meanwhile, foreigners lust for the greenback. Their economies are in worse condition than the US... if that's even possible. Someone is going to be left holding the bag...

The U.S. is a net exporter of oil. The point of Saudi Arabia moving away from the dollar has nothing to do with oil production in the U.S. but rather the devaluation of the dollar over time, which will cause further inflation in the U.S. Most mportantly, this issue speaks to the change of the global world order and the loss of influence for the U.S.
Exactly
Basically the privilege the U.S has enjoyed of printing money for nothing and exporting her inflation to the world for the last 50 years, is at an end.
Spot on, not many people in the West is well educated on the importance of this matter. The risk of the big reset of the dollar is very real. It will happen sooner than everyone realizes.
Not true since Biden took over and the leftists run your government they shut much of that down .
True as the US has ruined the economy of several countries, especially in Africa

CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies. The "crypto" part refers to the cryptography involved in blockchain technology. CBDCs have no desire to be decentralized and so they do not need to use blockchain technology. CBDCs just use a centralized ledger; this can be as simple as an excel spreadsheet on a single computer. The commonality that you are trying to describe is that both CBDCs and cryptocurrencies are both digital currencies. The issue isnt that it is digital, the issue is that it is centralized. Centralization leads to state sponsored debasement.
They ARE using cryptography, it's just a different consensus model. The research is in the description of the video but they are using weak/strong certificates for transaction verification (look it up). These CBDCs are ABSOLUTELY based in crypto technology - but you are correct - they are NOT decentralized so they will not be accepted by any crypto community.
@@AndreiJikh First of all: you are my hero. I am super glad for the response.
Second of all:
Think about what you even mean by consensus model. Centralized currency ledgers do not need to come to consensus becuase there is just one node - the gov agency managing the currency. I think it is useful to define cryptocurrencies as any currency that uses a decentralized ledger. Using this definition, CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies, but just digital fiat currencies. I think this is a more clear way to think of things.
But then again I havent studied any CBDCs in particular and I am sure there is much nuance. Also I am not so familiar with mBridge, which seems more like an attempt to make a digital exchange for CBDCs (a way to port CBDCs between countries). So I definitely need to learn more about CBDC technology. Thanks again!
The CBDCs will be managed by SWIFT the same system that moves money now.
I just don't see how a government can adopt a digital dollar without controlling how people use it.
Lots of central banks around the world have discussed banning and the need to ban crypto currency. All these people holding these worthless digital coins are going to be in for a wake up call here soon.
The petro-dollar is great for Americans, but slavery for the rest of the world as the US decided to use it as a weapon; hence many countries want a better and much fairer way to transact
As an American I hope we do lose reserve currency status. Then we can being exporting and manufacturing again. Let China pay for the world.

Arguably this makes it more decentralized compared to the current petrodollar system in which the U.S. can single-handedly decide who is gonna participate and when.
There will come a time when countries that are economically strong will start using their currency to pay for goods and America will be required to use their currency for goods, even if they don't want to. There is always another market, America is not the only country in the world, America is the only one that knows how to produce weapons and live off it and create wars around the world, only God knows how much America owes to China, as well as the great powers that occupied the whole world, one day they will have to pay the price
Kinda hard to call it slavery when since its inception more people have been lifted out of poverty than any other 70 year period in human history. The dollar greased the wheel for the whole world to flourish. Before that it was only strong men and starvation.

Never boring any video you do is awesome love your personality and how you make all your vids I'll deff watch anything you post!!! Keeping cooking only few can do what you've been doing
Nope. The expiration date is more for "recoverability" of lost CBDC value. BTC for example, if someone dies and takes the keys to the grave with them it's gone for good (it cannot be recovered, ever). That is an issue because it reduces the money supply, which a government cannot allow (it's just not good in that use case). But, they also cannot add backdoors (like a super user account) to recover lost funds, because that could be hacked, cracked, broken into by a foreign adversary. So the only option is to implement smart contracts which ultimately can ensure the money is never lost, but automatically comes back into circulation (eventually). That's why the expiration date was really added .. the money can be returned back to the central repository, so will never be lost from the system (e.g. due to untimely death or loss of phone access). Smart contracts were the only way to implement recoverability, but the contracts require a timer to work 100%. Anything else would simply be insecure.
I like your analogy it makes a lot of sense 🤯 but now I can see the pros and cons of your cbdc money
Nice explanation
So they say but i wouldn't trust the government for anything especially when it comes to this.
i always looked at that point of view, you deeming it as a bad thing is not really. taking bitcoin as an example, yes death will cause assets to be lost. but this will
increase the floor price of the asset and help in its value overtime crowing your money. eventually everyone who holds btc will die and that is a problem.
but then this is why the etf inclusive of black rock etc is good for the project. giving what is thought to be majority of the coin if continues like this to financial institutions which address this problem to an extent.
Respectfully disagree, the timer is exactly for thr purpose the video posited, I.e. put a short timer expiration such if it is monthly food stamp, it needs to get spent that month otherwise recipient is not in dire need of food which in theory is a good use case. The issue you narrated exists only with Bitcoin cuz it has a capped limited supply at 21 million plus its decentralized so can't be easily altered if at all. CBDC don't have either of these limitations as they are centralized & not limited, govt can always print more ar will. That said, govt can also impose a lifetime 99yr expiration for unmoved digital coins as evidence of dead owner lost keys. Most govt lands are 99yr lease anyway but lands are fixed and govt can't print more of that 😅
I love it when you post videos like that automagically.

We need a multipolar world
Been there done that. Wasn't that great either.
Why on Gods green earth do we NEED division????
Sounds like someone needs some democracy
We need a unified world. Believe it or not division and polarization makes us EASIER to control.

Multipolar just leads to war. The world should strive for as much unity as possible.

I think the banking privacy issue is very much fixable on a goverment policy level. There has to be an audit trail cataloguing all queries to an individuals banking data, so that its not a spyfest to everyone who works in the goverment. The exact same privacy issues are pertinent to ALL HUMAN ACTIVITY in modern society due to digitalization. Banking privacy vis-a-vis our own goverment, especially for corporations, should not be our biggest worry on that front. Digital currency holds a lot of promise for creating a more efficient economy imho.
the problem with this is its not DECENTRALIZED.
It's gonna be HORRID
Its going to take a bit for everyone to realIze, but the only true and reliable decentralization will be multipolarity
bro its not crypto-currency, its a new monetary way for countries and banks, not individuals for god sake, of course its centralized, if saudi will pay China for example of course they need centralization
I'm not worried about the USA. Saudi Arabia, China, and Russia should be concerned. It has never been wise to challenge the Americans. It’s not just the Petrodollar that defines an American, but also their intellect and ingenuity. By the way, ChatGPT or artificial intelligence wasn't invented by an Arab, Chinese, or Russian. Just a thought to ponder.

Starting to think you are the "new" Michael Moore.
I remember that guy! What happened to him?
He gained even more weight and got even more annoying. No one thought either were possible. The science is still catching up.
You are wayyy better than ol Michael Moore, YOU, are capi-tan Andre.

Hey Andre! Thanks for the great info. Hope you're getting paid man. There were EIGHT ads in the 20 minute video just so you know. Have a great day.
