These vlogs are like we're Facetiming! Loving every second. I have to listen to music whilst I read. I focus on the book and the music is in the background. But the music levels up the reading experience. Especially when the songs match the vibe of the book. I will then place certain songs with certain scenes in the book, so listening to the song again reminds me of those characters and the scene from that book! It levels up the emotions and the characters! Especially with a matching playlist.
never watched vlogmas before - im not really curious about anyone's life or idk im just not interested in watching someone every single day doing their own things. But i feel like i could watch and listen to you forever. Im forever happy that yours is the first ever vlogmas that im watching. I love you and ur my comfort person
Steph you should try listening to brown noise if you're reading in public or a noisy area. I do this at work and it blocks out every other noise but doesn't distract me when I read. ❤

I don't have an specific cookie because my family don't make cookies for Christmas. Instead, we have hot chocolate with churros (I LOVE IT). We also eat nougat and polvorones. You have to try all these typical Spanish food at Christmas 😌

the influence this vlogmas has on me-
i ate a pb and jelly sandwich for the first time and now i want to go pottery painting
I can’t choose what I wanna do with my life, there are so many cool possibilities that I don’t wanna choose one and dismiss the others! I think that is partly why I love reading so much, it allows me to “live” or experience all these different lives of the characters. Right now I’m still a student, doing a double major in neurobiology and artificial intelligence, so either i’ll end up being a software/robotics engineer in the neuroscience direction or I’d love to open a bakery book-cafe. It would basically be a bookstore (where you can buy books or maybe even ‘loan’ books to read like a library) with a cafe that has delicious lil treats and coffees (including matcha cause that’s my favorite:) ). The whole ambiance would be super cozy, with big poofy chairs and couches, some soft instrumental music in the background, and I would organize events there. Events like an author coming to read a paragraph of their book, a themed night where treats/drinks/decorations are all inspired by the book (or book series) of the evening, and bookclub meetings to discuss everyone’s thoughts about a book!
Ending the day with steph is all you can ask for love u ❤❤
my family usually do a huge cookie day where we make like 4-6 different cookies but my faves are always the Mexican wedding cookies! they're so cute and look like little snowballs :) also i am definitely with you on the whole reading in silence thing. i can't concentrate when there's background noise
