Its awesome Agreed..... Put a slide rail on the ladder, and another on the loft cabinet doors. A sliding patio door or at least a dutch style. Incorporate 1 drawer at the end of the bed for everyday stuff. Incorporate a sliding partition for the loft. That fridge is a total POS. Switch to a European style to match the range. Like a Fisher & Paykel and switch the A/C to a Mitsubishi.

I've been looking at tiny houses for abt 6yrs, this is now one of my top 3 designs. texture and colour used in the decore is awesome. problems you faced with utilities have been addressed with creativity and practicality. Love, love, love it.
Sandi , I've seen those 2 as well.... my only criticism of those are #1. no bathroom in her first build. #2. the wardrobe in the second build was meh. but loved both other than those 2 issues. there is a swiss (?) one and a NZ one that I like the best. both open and airy with lots of large windows..... I would share the links but cant on my phone.
Actually, she did have a bathroom for the first one... It was just placed outside in its own structure because she set it up to function like a dry Cabin... When you place a structure in the middle of the wilderness where the temperatures can get to sub zero in the winter... You don't want pipes, etc in a structure you're not going to be living in every single day as otherwise the pipes will freeze and burst and excess moisture will just ice up the whole interior and end up causing wood rot and mold when it eventually thaws... Versus a outhouse that you don't mind getting some damage and can avoid having a lot of pipes by just placing the water tank right next to were it will be used... Besides, this is pretty common in Alaska... While the second house was for someone who was going to live in it full time, so that wasn't a issue... So really mind where the house is being placed and how it is going to be used... There are things to consider when one is being used as a vacation retreat that may be used only seasonally vs a home that will be lived in all the time...
I fell down the rabbit hole of these tiny house videos today and this is easily the best one I've come across. Seriously the only one I'd live in. Too many of them expect you to climb a ladder up to your coffin - er bedroom. Here you have a full bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen. Very nice. Coziness without sacrifice.
Absolutely fabulous! A bed you can access from both sides (with standing room), masses of storage, a bath tub etc. etc. This is a truly grown-up, elegant & most importantly liveable tie house. Well done!

Yes, no TV, but music and too many books, and a very nice loft to relax. It's my dream ...and all the tiny house is easy to clean, with good spaces to sleep, live and cook. At least, it's really clear and pretty. Wonderfull!
I have seen a lot of tiny houses, but none of them have inspired me to actually consider living in one, until this one that is. This is by far the best tiny house I have ever, ever seen. It has everything a regular flat would have and is even laid out in a similar way to a one bedroom flat. Excellent, excellent job.

OMG....Love the persons bedroom. For an older person, this would be great. Love the design! For me the second loft room would be a “reading room, I would have the roof extended so you could stand up. Have a second couch (sleeping for a visitor, and a wonder sky light to watch the stars and totally gel out. I have seen so many tiny homes and this is my favorite one by far. These are my type of priorities...storage, bathtub, beautiful design and luxuries of a heated floor.
HOLY SHIT! I have extensive and detailed drawings on my dream tiny house and THIS IS IT! HOLY ***** *****! They even have the reading lounge, the L-shaped couch and a table, the ceiling access, the reading lounge, and the ladder you can hide behind the shelving (though I had mine behind the fridge). It's like my dream but BETTER. ToT EDIT: ALSO YOU'RE ENGLISH IS FINE!

This is beautiful! I love that you can stand up in the bedroom, real stairs going up to the bedroom, and long closets! I wear a lot of dresses and most I have seen always have short closets.
This looks amazing, its simply the best tiny house I have ever seen. You've designed it to have everything a normal house would have, such as a tub and the roof top is definetely a bonus! And youre English is perfect!
Couldn't agree more, love that everything isn't natural wood and the lighting is the perfect amount no giant Windows so you feel exposed to the world. The bedroom placement is great, I love everything about it. This is a house someone could live in for a very long time.
This is amazing, I kept on complimenting the way the house looks again and again along the video, if it were me i would change a thing or two to suit my personal preference but so far this is the best tiny house I've seen, yes I've seen SMARTER or more EFFICIENT tiny houses but this is by far the one that suits me and my eye (lmao) the most.
This place is perfect for hiding people. Two can go under the bed. One can go in the cabinet area by the couch (drill a hole between the halves of the lower bit of the cabinet - pillows are in front of the main cabinet, then another things needs to be lifted to get to that last part, so it's perfect). Plus, no one will think people are being hidden in the smallest house on the neighborhood. btw, I LOVE that dining table. I bet it could be used as a counter, too. This whole house is gorgeous, especially the washroom. I like typing, so I'd probably replace the couch with an armchair to have room for a desk, but other than that ,I'd love something like this. If the ladder to the roof can be moved, I'd love to even put a short chair there, and read or type with my head directly under/in that skylight.
maybe we can just put some person in a small home, maybe they would like the cabinet over the sink in the kitchen area that also serves as a living room and entertainment center and additional bedroom? And the Laundry is right there!
There's no one else in this thread. Why are you talking in third person? I actually would love a small space, and cabinets over sinks are fairly standard, so I'd have that. I'd prefer a studio apartment to a tiny house, because houses tend to be in suburbs, so I wouldn't be within walking or biking distance of very much if I lived in a house. So, the entertainment area would be within view of the sink, and the laundry (two small, stacked machines) would be right there, too, or in the washroom if it's big enough. I probably wouldn't have space for an extra bedroom, though. Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm older. For now, I like looking at designs for cool ways to live in small spaces. It keeps you from getting stuff you don't need, and saves money. Even simple things, like keeping cardboard boxes under your bed and storing stuff in them, can save space. I dunno why you're trying to make this conversation negative. It's cool to see creative ways of fitting more into smaller spaces.

This is an AMAZING house! To me, the best part is the bedroom. The stairs going up to the bedroom is really nice.. I like that it's not a loft type situation where you can't stand. Plenty room to stand and be comfortable. The design is AWESOME! I want this exact design. How much does something like this cost?
Why? Its the price of a decent car. All the facilities are the same cost if not more than a normal house. they take about 4 or 6 months to build full time so people have to get paid. All the materials have to be top quality or it won't last because you are walking in the same spot. I dont get it. What do you think it should cost?

That is the nicest tiny house I've seen ,all the wood trim everywhere, the engineering and attention to detail, they built this for their Mother .just the BEST ! I incredible , way they somehow made It comfortable with so much storage .super clean modern .

When he opened the door to the bathroom I was like SHUT UP! A full bathroom! Wow, I was already sold on the full kitchen appliances but a full bathroom! Those are my two must haves. The bedroom is perfect as well! Great job!

This is so well done. Canadian tiny home builders like Minimaliste Inc and Nelson Tiny homes are really making amazing, liveable and well built tiny homes. Bravo!!!
The best I've seen, especially for its size, incredibly well designed. A very high standard, attention to detail (the water filtration is nicely laid out and clearly labeled). Standing room in the bedroom is great, loads of storage, loads of light, the seating and coffee/dinning table is so well thought out, the kitchen has size and space, and the bathroom couldn't be better (full bath/shower, nice vanity, and nice window for more great natural light). Ten out of ten.
I think this may be my FAVORITE tiny house EVER! So many features beautifully incorporated into a small footprint. I love everything about it - from the style, to the function, to the finishes! This is truly gorgeous! I have seen so many tiny houses that all start to look the same, but this is the most beautiful and perfectly laid out one. I also see a few ignorant comments regarding price. some tiny houses are so bland and old fashioned and they ask $90+. This is custom yes, but also has the most incredible design with functionality. It is certainly worth every penny! You have to be stupid to not get that. Excellent narration as well! It was a privilege to view this! 🙂
Plus the reason it costs so much is due to labor. If a house is 25k expect a 50k price tag for labor. I agree, a lot of the floor plans can be the same and pretty bland after you've been looking for quite awhile. It's refreshing to see some new innovative designs because I'm tired of the typical floor plan. My favorite so far has been Anna White's Open Floor Plan tiny house, if you haven't seen it look up the video. Very beautiful. I want to build a tiny house and it's the plan I want to go with. I tweaked it in my own design for more storage and some parts I didn't like, but I love the spaciousness.
Something very similar would be the tiny house company's retractable bed. They also have a video of it up called 'tiny house tour'. Hope you like it! The execution of both are very different but beautiful.

One of the thing i forgot to say it that we put an outlet a the right place for her to plug a projector and have a solar screen on the door/window, 60 inch.
This home is over-the-top AMAZING. There are so many well-thought-out details, I cannot list them. Ironically, this home is not at all in our preferred style, however, I am so grateful I watched it. Wow, wow! This is an absolutely stunning tiny home. Probably my favorite. The only thing I would request is, instead of just the three big drawers under the counter, I would want those drawers to be part of a retractable counter that pulls out from under the existing counter, to give extra counter top space for cooking. mise en place. :)
This house is probably the only tiny house that I have seen that could be perfect for a single child family, where the loft part could be served as the child's bedroom. The loft could be child proved on the railing. I would absolutely love to live in a house like this when I get older.
I've seen many tiny houses online and on the TV but this 'The Sakura' is the best one out of all of them, in my opinion... can stand up in the bedroom, space to make a second bedroom, shower over bath in large bathroom, laundry facilities, so much storage and a huge kitchen / living room area !! Well done and bravo on this beautiful and finctional design. How much was this sold for ?

Yes, no TV, but music and too many books, and a very nice loft to relax. It's my dream ...and all the tiny house is easy to clean, with good spaces to sleep, live and cook. At least, it's really clear and pretty. Wonderfull!
I have seen a lot of tiny houses, but none of them have inspired me to actually consider living in one, until this one that is. This is by far the best tiny house I have ever, ever seen. It has everything a regular flat would have and is even laid out in a similar way to a one bedroom flat. Excellent, excellent job.

OMG....Love the persons bedroom. For an older person, this would be great. Love the design! For me the second loft room would be a “reading room, I would have the roof extended so you could stand up. Have a second couch (sleeping for a visitor, and a wonder sky light to watch the stars and totally gel out. (Several functions to this room, reading, sleeping, guest room, Artist room, writing and possible office). Wonderful Tiny Home. Thank you, you are amazing.

This is beautiful! I love that you can stand up in the bedroom, real stairs going up to the bedroom, and long closets! I wear a lot of dresses and most I have seen always have short closets.

Couldn't agree more, love that everything isn't natural wood and the lighting is the perfect amount no giant Windows so you feel exposed to the world. The bedroom placement is great, I love everything about it. This is a house someone could live in for a very long time.

This is amazing, I kept on complimenting the way the house looks again and again along the video, if it were me i would change a thing or two to suit my personal preference but so far this is the best tiny house I've seen, yes I've seen SMARTER or more EFFICIENT tiny houses but this is by far the one that suits me and my eye (lmao) the most.

This place is perfect for hiding people. Two can go under the bed. One can go in the cabinet area by the couch (drill a hole between the halves of the lower bit of the cabinet - pillows are in front of the main cabinet, then another things needs to be lifted to get to that last part, so it's perfect).
Plus, no one will think people are being hidden in the smallest house on the neighborhood.
btw, I LOVE that dining table. I bet it could be used as a counter, too.
This whole house is gorgeous, especially the washroom. I like typing, so I'd probably replace the couch with an armchair to have room for a desk, but other than that ,I'd love something like this. If the ladder to the roof can be moved, I'd love to even put a short chair there, and read or type with my head directly under/in that skylight.

I actually would love a small space, and cabinets over sinks are fairly standard, so I'd have that. I'd prefer a studio apartment to a tiny house, because houses tend to be in suburbs, so I wouldn't be within walking or biking distance of very much if I lived in a house. So, the entertainment area would be within view of the sink, and the laundry (two small, stacked machines) would be right there, too, or in the washroom if it's big enough. I probably wouldn't have space for an extra bedroom, though.
Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm older. For now, I like looking at designs for cool ways to live in small spaces. It keeps you from getting stuff you don't need, and saves money. Even simple things, like keeping cardboard boxes under your bed and storing stuff in them, can save space.
I dunno why you're trying to make this conversation negative. It's cool to see creative ways of fitting more into smaller spaces.

This is an AMAZING house! To me, the best part is the bedroom. The stairs going up to the bedroom is really nice.. I like that it's not a loft type situation where you can't stand. Plenty room to stand and be comfortable. The design is AWESOME! I want this exact design. How much does something like this cost?

Why? Its the price of a decent car. All the facilities are the same cost if not more than a normal house. they take about 4 or 6 months to build full time so people have to get paid. All the materials have to be top quality or it won't last because you are walking in the same spot. I dont get it. What do you think it should cost?

That is the nicest tiny house I've seen ,all the wood trim everywhere, the engineering and attention to detail, they built this for their Mother .just the BEST ! I incredible , way they somehow made It comfortable with so much storage .super clean modern .

When he opened the door to the bathroom I was like SHUT UP! A full bathroom! Wow, I was already sold on the full kitchen appliances but a full bathroom! Those are my two must haves. The bedroom is perfect as well! Great job!

The best I've seen, especially for its size, incredibly well designed.
A very high standard, attention to detail (the water filtration is nicely laid out and clearly labeled).
Standing room in the bedroom is great, loads of storage, loads of light, the seating and coffee/dinning table is so well thought out, the kitchen has size and space, and the bathroom couldn't be better (full bath/shower, nice vanity, and nice window for more great natural light).
Ten out of ten.

This is truly gorgeous! I have seen so many tiny houses that all start to look the same, but this is the most beautiful and perfectly laid out one. I also see a few ignorant comments regarding price. some tiny houses are so bland and old fashioned and they ask $90+. This is custom yes, but also has the most incredible design with functionality. It is certainly worth every penny! You have to be stupid to not get that. Excellent narration as well! It was a privilege to view this! 🙂
Plus the reason it costs so much is due to labor. If a house is 25k expect a 50k price tag for labor. I agree, a lot of the floor plans can be the same and pretty bland after you've been looking for quite awhile. It's refreshing to see some new innovative designs because I'm tired of the typical floor plan. My favorite so far has been Anna White's Open Floor Plan tiny house, if you haven't seen it look up the video. Very beautiful. I want to build a tiny house and it's the plan I want to go with. I tweaked it in my own design for more storage and some parts I didn't like, but I love the spaciousness.
Plus I want to build it all myself to stay cheap.

Something very similar would be the tiny house company's retractable bed. They also have a video of it up called 'tiny house tour'. Hope you like it! The execution of both are very different but beautiful.

Wow, wow! This is an absolutely stunning tiny home. Probably my favorite. The only thing I would request is, instead of just the three big drawers under the counter, I would want those drawers to be part of a retractable counter that pulls out from under the existing counter, to give extra counter top space for cooking. mise en place. :)

This house is probably the only tiny house that I have seen that could be perfect for a single child family, where the loft part could be served as the child's bedroom. The loft could be child proved on the railing. I would absolutely love to live in a house like this when I get older.
