It's fascinating that a state has to pass a constitutional carry law when the US Constitution is already the law of the land.
Law enforcement violates the constitution every day. And we the People do nothing.
New Jersey and New York need to here this loud and clear statement from the constitution the Supreme Court and the right to bear arms Now
@@JessicaGrecco-ll7gu the Neo-Nazi Governors of those states will never hear those statements from the Constitution!!!
If you think about it, the first 10 amendments of the Bill of Rights are exactly that in a way.
IMO regulations are more complicated than they might seem. for example, "Well Regulated" by definition, indicates that "the right to keep and bare arms" is not unlimited.
Its amazing how we need permission from the state to exercise our RIGHT.
its world wide the same. Your right on paper is worth nothing if nobody stand for it.
It's even more amazing to think how dumb our lawmakers for making law abiding gun owners get a permit to carry their firearms concealed in the first place.
Just live by the constitution
F the government workers
As a Louisiana resident I am so happy that our new governor passed this.
I am so happy to see that y'all got it past because y'all really needed it to happen for y'all and Louisiana is my home state........
Didn't know that you were from Louisiana, I'm from Kentwood if you know where that is.
@@servantsglassllc I know where Kentwood is. I’m from Mandeville Louisiana.
@@charlesoconnor7133Yep been there quite a few times. One of my sons was in the national guard and I used to take him to Camp Villere in Slidell for his weekend training when he was in high school.
amen to that
I use the constitutional carry map to decide where my family goes on vacation. I try not to even drive through the other states.
Same here
I go through Illinois all the time packing heat with no permit. I don’t care.
I take it you never vacate in CA, OR, or WA.
I'm the exact same way! They don't uphold 2nd ammendment! I take my money where they do!!
It's not "constitutional" until they strip away ANY AND ALL restrictive laws, including, but not limited to, mag bans, bans on where you can carry, etc.
That would be the "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" part
Don't worry, the other states won't be with the sane states much longer.
I always ask the question. Why does any state need to pass a legislation repeating what's in the bill of rights if the constitution is supposedly the Supreme law of the land?
Constitution is a Federal Document. States shouldn’t be passing laws on it. And infringing on Federal rights. Should be no NFA no ATF and carry any state
Your driver's license should be your carry permit nationwide.
by that logic marijuana shouldn’t be legal anywhere since the controlled substances schedule is a federal document.
@@am529 it shouldn't, you are correct
Oh yeah, come enforce it.😂
States don't have Rights, and States don't have immunities, and States have no authority to violate individual Rights, and states have no authority to vote over everything all the time, but then hold its individual residents accountable to those laws that are the residues of those unconstitutional votes.
Why the driver license can be Recognize in all U, S, but when it's come to second.Amendment cannot be recognized in all?????
because the ALL the politicians who are "anti-gun" are Neo-Nazis......there, I said it!!!!
NC needs to do this...
Congrats to Louisiana and South Carolina.
If it doesn't have open carry its not constitutional
America has been a "constitutional carry" country for over 200 years. Stop celebrating and start exercising the rights you already have.
Yes Sir! Well said Brother 🇺🇲
All gun laws are infringements
Amen to that, Indiana you can get a lifetime permit!🇺🇸
Please tell New Jersey and New York that let’s get them on board with bearing arms
Right tell that to New York State politicians. Yelling catchy patriotic slogans is one thing, the actual ability to exercise your right in a given state is quite another.
Our founding fathers before they even ratified the Bill of Rights as part of the US Constitution in 1791.
All clearly stated in many personally written letters/correspondences and publicly published opinions/statements.
That we the American People have every right to individually bear arms that are similar to or better than what any standing army or military bears.
This way, we the American people can be adequately armed, to exercise the first part of the second amendment and form well regulated (meaning well organized, and not well restricted) county and local militias.
So that we can have a fighting chance to hold our own and defend ourselves against any opposing force, be them foreign or domestic, that wants to tyrannically rule over us and infringe upon or outright attempt to strip us of our god given natural inalienable rights.
That's not what it says but yeah
@@jeremyhansen3029yes that's exactly what it says
Was a long hard flight in SC to get it across the goal line. My State Representative and Senator were locked in Battle for 3 years before it was finally voted into law in SC. Rep. The other 21 states, namely Commiefornia needs to get on board ASAP! 🇺🇲
That's what I've been saying, sure would be nice to have that
good luck. Jersey sucks also.
I live in North Carolina and I conceal carry but we can open carry even with our worthless democrat governor Roy Cooper. Hopefully in November we can get Mark Robinson voted in as governor. The democrats really hate our black conservative republican candidate Mark Robinson!
They're onboard whether they want to be or not. People in that God forsaken state need to wake up!
I wonder being the majority of the USA is now Constitutional Carry
I wonder if that fact would affect any upcoming Supreme Court decision about the right to carry outside the home
Oklahoma here and REFUGEE from Kommufornia, Constitutional Carry rocks!
I live in Kentucky and I can't believe we did it as early as we did. We had to push very hard for it.
if only Pennsylvania became a "Constitutional Carry" state someday!!!
We should have this be federal.
@@phil2082 well it is federal, its on behalf of the states, then perhaps it could apply nation wide
@@tarzanstrickland On behalf of the states? How about on behalf of the people?
@@phil2082 Lol, I am in full support of the peoples best interests being respected and put into effect by Government, that is how it SHOULD be, I completely agree. Unfortunately there is a political party called the Democrats who do not see things the same way.
Federally, the supreme court upheld Constitutional Carry, the STATES however do not all acknowledge this; hence new states adopting it, or others continuing to not adopt it.
I'll say it again just in case; I agree it should be adopted by all states nationwide
NH welcomes you guys, congrats

I am old enough to remember the gun controllers going ballistic when Florida passed “shall issue” in 1987. The “Gunshine State” was one of the milder reactions.
Ohio still has issues permits if you choose to get one, a plus for veterans, ohio Senate bill 81, allows all active, retired, and honorably discharged veterans to obtain a permit without classes or fees.
I spent a lot of time in Colorado and Texas. Didn't conceal carry, but always had a firearm in my welding truck. During traffic stops I alway told the officer I had a loaded gun in my truck. Never had a problem. Not even in Colorado, but I mostly stayed on the western slope 😎👍
Away from Boulder.
@Coowallsky Yes Sir
That’s actually huge for South Carolina, they didn’t recognize a number of other states’ CCWs and didn’t issue non-resident permits, so you could get hemmed up driving up and down the East Coast
Wisconsin needs to pass constitutional carry.
Good luck. Madison is full of gun control zealots.
And our cops are big mad. They can’t use I saw a bulge as reasonable cause to pat you down anymore
This trend towards broader gun rights reflects the growing recognition of individual responsibility and the right to self-defense. Let's hope more states follow suit soon!
Thanks for staying after it!
Louisiana still offers permits. If you’re a veteran you can get a lifetime for FREE. My wife and I both got ours. The reciprocity and easiness of 4473s made it worth it
CCL Louisianan here and super stoked!!
🤦🏻♂️
Get all states on board the country has changed please get this done please now
Let's gooooooo, South Carolina!!!!
I traveled in and out of SC back in 2019 for nearly a year working. I carried my handgun, along with my TN permit the entire time. I never got pulled over (haven’t in 21 years). I thought it was ridiculous that they were not a friendly State regarding carry permits.
About time SC comes to its senses🔥
🤦🏻♂️
As it Always was.... As it Should have been Respected All Along everyday everywhere!
In SC it’s still better for you to have the permit as well. IF you run foul of the law the result will be less severe than if you don’t.
agreed!!! and like Iraqveteran8888 also pointed out, another thing that's great with having a gun permit with you, is basically for reciprocity reasons. my home state of Pennsylvania has a permit reciprocity that's good in 37-38 other states. and like you already pointed out, if you run into a police officer in another state and asks to see your I.D. and whatnot (especially if he sees you're armed with a gun), THAT'S when you show him your carry permit.
2nd amendment allows anyone to bear arms
@israelgoldberg4293 sadly I don't live in a permitless State, so I can't really explain the differences.
now if my home state of Pennsylvania became a "Constitutional Carry" state, I would've been able to answer it more clearly. but as I said, the gun licensing in Pennsylvania has a reciprocity that's good (and recognized) in 37-38 other states, although some of those states do have some restrictions, so you'll have to be little careful.
so with that said, if one lived in a permitless carry state but still filled out the application for a gun license anyway, it'll help you out in the long run (especially if you vacationed in another state and a State Trooper pulls you over, so showing them your carry license will let them know you're a legal gun owner).
Louisiana also has free concealed carry permit for vets. I am required to recertify every 5 years. The only thing about Constitutional Carry is that there maybe a lot of folks that have no clue about using a firearm properly. But then again, neither do most criminals. Thanks for your channel. We need more folks spreading the word. Hope to have a big change come this November. Best Regards.
Whilst this is a great VICTORY, will our friends in law enforcement see it this way?
Here from Louisiana. I gotta say, ive been open carrying for the past 8 years and i am so happy to be able to throw a jacket on and not worry about committing a felony (well not yet, July 4th)
AZ has been CC for years. There are still shoot outs every day in Tombstone and train hold ups between Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.
Eric A lot has changed since Moss Pawn and Gun. Thanks for keeping folks up-to-date I live in Gwinnett County so good news for the South
🤦🏻♂️
Eric is slowly transforming into the "Big Lebowski racking 1911" meme 😂
Nc currently has bill 726 I think it is which is a over 18 conceled carry without a permit law. Currently being voted on
I appreciate your content. always informative and to the point without all the extra non sense. thank you for the work that you do for 2A.
this isnt doing work for the second amendment all that stops tyranny is fighting back physically like the second amendment intends as shown by the past over a century now that we've been trying peaceful means and get nowhere but more and more "laws" enforced on us as if theyre real anyway all this is doing is telling the obvious that smart people already know and saying to comply and do peaceful means until we "get our rights back" that will do nothing to actually stop them 🤦🏻♂️
As a citizen of South Carolina, even though we are a Constitutional Carry State, it’s not a true Constitutional Carry. It’s not even as good as our conceal carry we have already. Even though it has passed, I hope they continue to work on it to make it true Constitutional Carry.
same for florida.
@@israelgoldberg4293 one is that if you don’t have a conceal carry permit and if you’re convicted of killing someone with a gun, your sentence will be five years more than if you have a permit. Makes no sense. Same applies if you’re not trained by a certified instructor. There is a lawyer that has a channel called Washington gun law. He is the first one to explain it then I went on line and pulled the bill up and read it. I suggest you take a look at both as he explains it better and what he tells you is in the bill.
A month ago in SC, if you were carrying a handgun without a CWP you were committing a crime, now, you're not. I'd consider that a major improvement. Is the new law perfect? Absolutely not, but, it's a significant step in the right direction,. Should such a law even be necessary in any state? Absolutely not, but until the SCOTUS rules that any law that infringes in any way om a US citizen's 2nd Amendment rights is unconstitutional and void, it's a law worth having.
@@paulbingville6485 I agree that it’s a step in the right direction and I hope our state representatives and senators will continue to work on improving it. As a CCW permit holder I will continue to renew it. And even under the new Constitutional Carry law that says you don’t have to let law enforcement know you are carrying, I will still let law enforcement know I have CWP permit and I am carrying.
@@anthonyroberts7718Same here. If for no other reason than that I can't walk my dog without being within what the Feds consider a "school zone".

I don't say this enough, but I always liked SC folk. Very honest people.
Roger that !!!
The south is true Americans tbh
I know, at least in Massachusetts, a permit does not bypass a NICS. Gun shop can release the firearm waiting on the check, but they never do. Anyone experience something different?
With my Florida permit ; i can legally carry in 38 states . 29 of witch are constitutional carry or permitless carry . I will not visit or spend my money in the other 12 states period . The most I might do is drive thru them to get to a free state .
Georgia doesnt issue a "handgun" permit. They have a "weapons carry license." The up sides to having it is NO PHONE CALL. They photocopy your drivers license, weapons license, and you get to leave. It also allows you to carry mace, brass knuckles, etc.
You may get NC but I don’t think there will be many or anymore states making permits optional.
For every gun I by in my hone state of Indiana I have to fill out the form and get a back ground çheck. Weather it is a long gun or hand gun. It used to be if u had a hand gun permit you did not have to wait. But that changed back in the 90's.
Carry On Patriots….Its Always Been There
South Carolina native here
I carry every day regardless of the constitutional carry law… now I’m not “illegally carrying” I’ve been to the concealed carry class I passed it I just never turned in my paperwork. fingerprinting and tax is unconstitutional.
Good video brother
🤦🏻♂️
Which states are Constitutional Carry now? A list please?
NC did get rid of pistol purchases permits. So it's very likely we will have constitutional carry soon hopefully 🤞🙏
The one thing missing that no one seems to get is reciprocity for constitutional carry. The whole reason most people get permits is so that they can enjoy reciprocity when traveling between their home state and other states. If you are from one of the constitutional carry states traveling two or through any of the others then you should be good to go. It's sad though that there needs to be some sort of legislative acknowledgment of what should be a natural fact.
In Washington State, all one used to need was a cpl, but nowadays, it's a bunch of hoops, so having our cpl doesn't help at all unfortunately
I live in SC. I guess I can throw out my cwp. Woowoo
Hang on to it , it could be helpful if you have to use your pew pew ...
South Carolina doesn't have to wait till July 4th. The day he signed the bill it went into effect March 7th. God bless the great state of South Carolina. I'm never moving.
I live in South Carolina also.
Those the Paul Castellano glasses?
Alabama no longer lets you skip the background check if you have a permit. I was told that it's because some L.E.A's have issued permits to people who weren't legally able to attain a permit. Most likely, officers turning a blind eye for friends and family.
This Is Good News!!!
You answered my question.. Thank you! I need to be patient and watch your videos in its entirety.
🤦🏻♂️
I live in South Carolina. My permit is about to expire. But i still renew it. So, i can carry the firearm into other states. Also, the background check is much quicker.
Man I miss the old gun gripes. That's when I first caught on to your channel. Those were the best
🤦🏻♂️
hey in florida you still have t do a background check even when you have a carry permit.
Any update on North Carolina?
Kentucky passed this law around 10 years ago.
It's empowering to see states recognizing the fundamental principle of self-defense and individual liberty. Hopefully, this momentum encourages more states to follow suit, ensuring that law-abiding citizens can exercise their right to bear arms without unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles.
....🤦🏻♂️
I think the senators name is Pronounced Minyez although it’s not spelled that way.
I don’t agree with the judges decision to let migrants who broke the law to get into the country to be allowed to possess firearms, but the take away from this is doesn’t that warrant national constitutional carry? If a person doesn’t need a legal residence and can possess and carry firearms anywhere in the country then we can also then possess and carry in any state because the judge said anyone in the United States has the right to do so in the ruling?
Carry permits preventing NICS checks is nice, but many retailers have a policy to do them anyway.
NICS is also Unconstitutional.
I’m all for gun rights but not everyone should own or carry a gun. There are a lot of maniacs in this country. I’m not against NICS if it’s able to detect someone that shouldn’t have a gun.
@@Taprack13 I don't disagree, that doesn't change the policies of retailers though. My son went to buy a shotgun when he was 19 and wasn't allowed to buy the first retailer he tried.

SC has come a long way. I remember 10-11 years ago, when I first moved there, you couldn’t carry in a place that served alcohol, even if you didn’t have any. They fixed that. I remember around the same time, a friend from GA forgot to leave his gun and he called me to help him not break the law because they didn’t have reciprocity. Well, by the time I left SC, they fixed that. A few years after I was gone, they decided that they didn’t want to be 1/5 states to ban open carry so, they fixed that. This year, they fixed the permit and duty to inform issues too. The never thought I’d see such infringements undone but they got rid of Larry Martin and others and got it done.
The glasses are classic!!
No where in the constitution states that a fellon can't carry a gun. If youve done your time, you can get a gun.
