Yeah that's hard for many people who are working on minimum wage jobs or just over it. Also depending on where you live, and how your bills are set up in ratio to your paycheck. On avg, the regular person who may be trying to save money can only do between 1-6%, equal to a 401k, or are trying to recoup funds may go up to 10% of their check, but again that's if they have it as disposable income that can be set aside without having to touch it for extras. It can be difficult. I am personally trying 10% every pay period. It can be difficult especially with gas & grocery prices right now.🙏

The trick is to create priorities. Debts, Bills, savings then self. You can move these around depending on interest rates but your "pocket money" should always be last. You struggle at first but once collective debt goes down, the end of the chain increases. I went from 30 a week pocket money to 100. I did t even notice as i was more fixed on clearing that debt.

Pro move is if your job has an after tax account that you can open with paycheck deduction. That way you can get some additional income with the market.
