    Correction: The members of the Army team are named Claire Kelly, not Clarie and Mary-Elizabeth Phillips, not Phillps.

      "Service-member civilian" or "Soldier civilian" would be the oxymoron bud. The Army is an organization like any other federal entity. Fking bone head

      @@DarthTigger Good question , I was in The Regular Army 1982-85 , during that time there was a term to describe you after you received an Honorable Discharge 'Proud F***ing Civilian' , I use that term to this day being that I am one. It's simply slang for Army Veteran from my time in Service. .. I hope that's a clear explanation and You Have a good Day.

      It’s insane the civilians at my basic acted worse then my drill sergeant.. I just didn’t understand it. If anyone went to fort Jackson in the past 2 years and maybe before them you will remember this super rude lady who drew blood at reception and just actually wouldn’t give us a break.

      When you go to a recruiter you will take a pre asvab then work on it then you will take the asvab choose a job and if theirs slots open then send you too meps you will be their for a 2 days first day you will do some physicals and stay at a hotel paid for by the army, the next day you will do piss tests, blood drawings, and extra physicals if your doing something that needs it. After that they will give you a ship date to basic and your first base..

    • @TheBear710
      @TheBear710 7 месяцев назад

      @@Sniper_Man_Clips also I have some advice.. if you think your recruiter is trying to fuck you over then go to a different one… this is your career and I have met plenty of people who got fucked over by their recruiter.. make sure your just honest with medical problems.. a lot of people just say lie and that’s not true rn, army is waivering literally everything. I went to basic with a guy who was diagnosed and prescribed medication for suicidal thought and depression, also a guy with asthma, and other crazy things. They will get a waiver for you and if you do have medical problems make sure to get all pharmacy records from Walgreens and other places that you would get prescriptions from. Make sure everything is done before basic ask a shit ton of questions, I went to meps with guys who were their for literally 3 weeks… also if you don’t get the job you wanted make sure to look at the scores needed and what you have, I scored a 67 percentile on my asvab then had to take a verification test. I was 2 points off for getting 68w and we got a ETP(exemption to protocol) if your close enough then you will get it.. just make sure it’s a good recruiter and something you really want to do! If you have any more questions you can ask here and I will reply.
