I’m almost always a supporter of buying the batteries that the manufacturer supplies and supports, especially for a more expensive camera. This solution, while third-party, has been rock solid, and it’s helping me trim down the power solutions I need for both my monitor and my camera. I also didn’t mention the USB output on the battery since I’ve never used it, but that’s a neat alternative if you’re powering your monitor off USB or you need to charge your phone really quick. This product is also labeled as SWIT 2-Battery Kit for Canon C300 Mark II & C200 - I have NOT tested the camera with the C300 Mark II, and so can't really speak to the battery life for that camera.

Shot this to test out a new anamorphic adapter; not a great solution for product shots, however, so it's a mix of spherical shots in here too. I also should've done some fine adjustment aligning the adapter. Always learning.

Great content thanks for the info. I think the only fear we personally have with third party batteries is them frying the port . It's been mentioned on a few groups i'm in that the port has fried unless going through a v mount power port .

Drescher Visuals frying the port on the C200 body? I totally understand that being a concern. I haven’t had any issues but I can imagine that if quality control slips up, there can be issues.
