It looks as though the boat hit the outside reef. Historically, homes built in Key West had a lookout tower to alert them of boats hitting the reef 4 to 5 miles from mainland. Hahaha, 30 days. 😂, let's see if you had a army. Transom, 1 week to cut out.clean up .1 week to build replacement, 1 week to reattach, wild card, dew points for glass, epoxy crew times. Add 2 more weeks, 1, week of long hours to gut her. Everything out. Everything layed out to fresh water flush, and dry, then see what has to be new.
Motor 6 weeks complete rebuild. If it ran with a bent shaft, blocks will be cracked.
The skaggs, ripping off (( wow )) whole new lower ends would be cheaper, want to see a time line..and real cost.. the channel sailing dauntless. Bought a sunken 1.5 million cat. She sank in GA. They PAIDED 50k. For a new 1.5 million yacht. With free family labor, a $350 a day coverd ship yard. They had to replace and hand make, 52 foot long, replacement hulls, that cat had both hulls belly's ripped off, and the cat sank filled with mud and sand... with 5 people, working all week for 6 months, they motor her to Fla.
They are still fixing her., and have sunk over a half million in just material cost.
950k, hulls trashed, motors trashed, tramson trashed, all electronics trashed. Needs 100s gutted water tanks fuel tanks.
( wait for it ), 😂😂😂😂😂😂, you'll spend $600.000 for a sailing yacht you could sale for $350.000... labor cost, coverd storage cost, material cost. Add that up, then what est for resale...it a 100% loss. The insurance company only, win. Would be take her apart, and sell off what's on her, motoer, yes do a quick lower 100% replacement, those 2 could make 10k each . Stainless rigging, mast, life raft,. , then try to sell the hull naked. Or, ship it all over seas to viet nam.
Plastic sheets. After it cleaned, have the whole boat rebuilt. Take a new trimaran hull.
Same modle, walk all the parts on to the new hull, and use the trashed boat as the donor. Then your building a all new yacht for half the price.

Trimarans - esp Neels with solid bridgedecks - are very strong vessels and the damage to this one is via water intrusion, rather than a hurricane (for example) where the risk of flipping is huge.
