Good morning Scott .... you see that racing boat crash this week in KW? All seem to be good they called us the next day to see if we had supplies they could buy for a temporary repair to continue racing.
How often do you check your air conditioning pumps? This one was less than 10 months old but it obviously sprung a leak and caused components to rust quickly!
What if you wrapped your pumps and connections with insulating pipe foam? At least it wouldn’t spray everywhere and could direct the water to the bilge saving expensive repairs.
OMG yes, Wrap the truck or signs. Free advertising. I was an auto mechanic for 31 years and loved working on boats. I wish I moved to Florida 20 years ago and did it for a living. I lived in CT and it's too cold in the winter to work on boats.
Yup we put magnets on the doors and the tailgate.... kind of dressed it up LOL. Yes to cold to work on boats in CT and way to HOT here in the summer. This summer was brutal many days felt like 113' and we had a few months feeling over 100' I say feels like cause our temperature only gets to about 93-95' but it was blazing.
Boats, as with many things, are over-engineered by engineers that aren't boaters. Adding features that aren't necessary, and making everything more expensive and complex than it needs to be. After boating since I was a toddler and decades following, NO, I would never buy a new boat again.
Thanks for sharing Mac! Completely understand what you are saying .... just think we deal with the over complexity every day! Boats are fun but expensive hobbies!
sheesh what a mess... water inside the boat where it is not wanted is NEVER a good thing! Yeah new tires those tires are looking pretty sketchy... don't want a blow out at 60 MPH Yikes!! Magnetic signs work great and you can remove and move to different vehicles if you need to as well.. options open :D Great episode! Keep those cameras rolling! 👍👍
Ohhhhh boy the salt water spray not going to lie id love to work on boats in Florida in a way because you get to do so much and its a weight loss program without the gym membership lol
@@WillFixThat lol yall need a extra hand lol 😆 I'm willing to travel 😅 🤣 but I understand all the steps put into a day and you don't even realize until you look lol
The knowledge and foresight is amazing
If i had a Boss like this i would work 7/24 nonstop.he is exceptional
Lots of training and experience helps! 😁
Good morning all

So many things you have to know! GOAT
Omg I’ll tell Matt he is extremely talented 😊
Lots of troubleshooting AC stuff in this video pretty interesting to say the least. Thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Thanks for watching! Yes a big portion of Matt’s specialty is HVAC and he loves it!
Don't forget the romance of a fireplace.
Who doesn’t love a fireplace but not in KWest 🤣
@@WillFixThat Hey, you said that you were cold. OK, two-person hot shower.
I like the truck ,, it’s a ford ,,, should run forever
One would hope it’s been at the shop since Nov 😭
Definitely change the tires
Yes tires are on the list! On Friday we had one of our guys wash and wax it!

Aaaaahhhhh the joy of owning a boat 😂
You got to love boat ownership ....

Only pumps we wrap are chilled water pumps! If there’s a leak the water is going to blast thru the foam.

Wrap it!
Maybe 🤔
Hey Matt it looks like we do the same thing you guys do in Trinidad in the Caribbean. Would love to chat with you to share some ideas some time....
Hi Marc .... lets get you in Matt's schedule ... best for him to schedule calls first thing in the morning.

Thank you 🙏 salt water pump was a mess! Got 3 magnets 2 for the doors and one on the tailgate. Tires are on our list for repairs.
I won't ever own a boat again. Had my fill of them.
You already know the story you’ve heard it a 1000x best day buying then selling!
Probably the most ridiculous statements I hear is someone saying “I’m buying a NEW boat because I don’t want to have to work on them” always a chuckle
Exactly new & old all need maintenance!
Ohhhhh boy the salt water spray not going to lie id love to work on boats in Florida in a way because you get to do so much and its a weight loss program without the gym membership lol
OMG LOL … I haven’t noticed our guys getting skinner! But, you definitely sweat a lot more! We do walk a lot Matt routinely gets over 12k steps a day.

@@honeybunbandit1we are always looking for good mechanics you see what we do every week! Hardest part is finding housing in KW!
@@WillFixThat right I agree that is the hardest thing is to find someplace to live down there just because idk what prices are like down there
@@honeybunbandit1where would you be coming from? Prices are expensive so they say!
Todays high temp here 41 degrees I'll take 71 all day.
Matt’s going to that kind of weather real soon 🤣 I’ll stay here where it’s warm!
Spray everything with saltwater
Yup had to clean the engine room!
BOAT equals bring out another thousand 😢
We actually say TEN Thousand 😮
man those big boats make me laugh, cant believe the money people blow on those things. some of those look like 10-20k a year just to maintain them.
Boats a pricey to maintain properly between money & time.
Sensitive electronics and saltwater environment spells constant trouble. I assume these are marine duty but doesn't look like it.
Saltwater on boats is trouble.
New anything these days is horrible!!
You are so right …. Lesser quality!
And much more expensive 😂
