Just discovered your video’s yesterday, i love how you don’t drag them out and you talk so clear ( and your not annoying some some videos 😂) I would also like to know the nam,e of the panto, I checked your website and I didn’t see it on there. Thank you for the free patterns 😊
Photos of your dogs made me smile. I have 3 that do the same thing!! It's like they wait during sewing time just to lay on it. My own quilts, it's ok, difficult part is keeping them off a quilt that's a gift, they just don't understand that it isn't THEIRS! Thanks for videos, take care
I just discovered your channel today and love your quilts and easy-to-follow instructions. I, too, love layer cakes and have a few 😅 on hand so can’t wait to get started on one of these. And I truly appreciate the free downloads you offer. Thanks so much!
Straight, to the point, and simple enough for a novice quilter like me .. Can't wait to get started on this, thank for sharing and including the pdf 💐🙏
Thank you and we all have rescues. We jokingly call the huskies "discount puppies" as they were from puppy mills. One was very malnourished and very small for her age, the other was massive yet had medical issues. Well she still does have issues but everyone is perfect! Lol I have a hard time saying no.
Thank you for another easy and quick layer cake pattern! I’ve used 2 of your patterns so far and am so very happy with the results. I just downloaded a few more to get started on Christmas gifts for all the grandchildren. ❤
I'm new to your Channel with this video & really appreciate your simple instructions plus free download so I didn't have to write it out myself. Looking forward to watching more of your videos & sewing along. Many Blessings from Deborah in West Virginia!
So this needs 2 layer cakes plus background to do Queen. I downloaded this one. Hoping maybe I have 8 left over 10 inch square that I can match in. Love your videos.
Very nice job - well done! And thank you very much for your teachings. Your babies are so cute! They love your work to. I do have a CA King size bed so, I to will have to make a king size.
Just discovered your channel, love the easy and fast pattern! I think I have some fabric that will work wonderfully with this!! Thank you for sharing!!
I watched three of your layer cake quilts this evening and enjoyed all three. I encourage you to submit a new (never seen on social media) precut design to the editors at Quilting Daily who publish four quilting magazines. I can imagine readers of Fons and Porter’s Quick +Easy Quilts enjoying making your quilts. Let me know if you are not able to find contact info online.
Funny you say this, because I have entered a few patterns this month, so cross your fingers for me and hopefully one gets selected! 🤞 😄 (If not, then don't worry, I will still keep trying! lol)
I LOVE this pattern, almost done with it. It's a beautiful way pattern. I used the same precuts but a different background. Thanks for sharing. ❤️ Do you have a fb page we can follow?
I'm watching your video for the first time. And enjoyed it, but I'm wondering if you quilted this quilt your self? On a sewing machine? Because you said it was a king size ? I'm fairly new to quilting. And wondering how you quilt a queen size quilt on a sewing machine? I think it would be difficult to do. Unless there are a few tricks to it that I don't know. Which is very possible, any possible tips would be helpful. I don't see myself making a king size quilt. But the tips still the same would be much appreciated. Thank you for this video.
This pattern is available in 5 quilt sizes which is why I mentioned I was making the king size for reference. Also I have a longarm machine, which I quilted it on. 😊
Is the fabric requirements correct on this? Says 24-10 inch print squares for 12 total blocks for throw size, but 80-10 inch print squares for 20 total blocks for twin.
Hi, I just downloaded the pattern but I think the layer cake square amounts are not adding up for me. You get 2 hst blocks from 2 print squares then add 2 background squares and you have 4 qst's. 4 qst's = 1 large hour glass block. 4 large blocks make the baby size so you would need 8 layer cake prints and 8 background to make the 4 large blocks. If you have 24 prints and pair them up and cut in half you have 24 hsts if you only have 12 background squares you have too many hsts. You need 24 background squares. Then you have 48 small qsts. 4 sewn together =gives you 12 large blocks for the twin size.
@@MoonkinStitchery Awesome thank you. I wasn't sure I was understanding and was second guessing myself. I can't wait to make it. Great idea for a layer cake.
I'd love to quilt your quilt! ❤ Link: www.moonkinstitchery.com/longarmquiltingservices

I LOVE this pattern, almost done with it. It's a beautiful way pattern. I used the same precuts but a different background. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
Do you have a fb page we can follow?
Yay, thank you! Sadly no Facebook at this time, only Instagram, at MoonkinStitchery; if you're on that platform. ☺
Do you have your own long arm? Your quilting is beautiful!
Thank you! And yes, I have a Bernina Q24 longarm machine. ☺️

What fabric line are the precuts on this quilt please.
Gingham Foundry by Riley Blake and background is yardage called Brushed in metallic from Ruby Star Society 😊
I love the texture that the background fabric adds to the quilt. What is the name of the background fabric?
Brushed by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society 😊
@@MoonkinStitchery thanks for the info and the great pattern

So, I see where your dogs sleep. Where do you sleep? lol
hanging off the bed. 😂 Oddly enough our huskies like to sleep under the bed most of the time so it isn't too bad. Lol
This is such a lovely design!
Super cute pattern and fabric choice. Love this quilt!
Thank you! ☺️
