Guys, the Japanese are connoisseurs of great tuna. So I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. You've fired up my appetite! I can't wait to take Ms. Lulu for sashimi! Thanks for the great show!
I love the "feel" of your videos, you take us right there with you♥ I found myself breathing a big lung of air when you were standing on the seaside. It has been so hot on the Canadian prairies this year (worst drought in 130 years where I live), I just can't wait for the cool autumn air. Blessings for putting together such a great video!
Very nice presentation of your visit to Miura Peninsula. Satoshi's love of tuna is heartwarming and causes much tummy grumbling. Shinichi looks like he is in his natural element at the beach. He makes me want to go there and sit in the cool water on the shore and relax in the peaceful breeze.
Looks so yummy! I love your travel videos and the food hauls! I wish you were allowed to film inside the konbini's and supermarkets, I really like seeing the selections you can get there. So glad to have found you guys! P.S.: Satoshi was so cute when he was saying "I'm people! I'm people!" 😂
Again, such an amazingly beautiful place! White sand beaches are stunning in their own way and really nice for swimming vacation, but I actually prefer the rougher shores, they make me wonder at nature's forces and put me at peace. And I'm always amazed at how well Japanese hiking paths/offroad paths are integrated into nature. You can definitely see they're man-made, but just blend in so nicely it always looks you're walking a garden path. Almost unbearably picturesque!
Thank you, thank you so much for this video! I loved it! I've never taped normal scenery like view out of train windows, streets etc. when I go back to Japan. Now I know this I really needed to. I of course love all the food parts, Satoshi's happy beer face, but even every single back ground, familiar sounds or scenery meant a lot to me. I know this is for all your viewers, but I want you to know I really really appreciate this video. Sorry you couldn't find a dessert place. You two were so deserved it! Thank you!
00:35 oh my god i always say this every time i see one of your day trips but its so beautiful. I just look expanse of trees looking like it would engulf the houses at any moment its stunning to me. I've often read or heard about how populat fatty tuna is and how its very very expensive . im not a huge fan of fish ( i dont mind the occasional little piece) but that tuna looked so fresh and so delish i wanted to eat it
What an amazing video! The Kairo Don looked so fresh and delicious! I wish I could try the Akomoku Maguro Katsu. That looked really amazing. The little cat was so sweet on the island; thank you for including that footage, as well as the visit to the shrine at the end. I guess you need to develop a portable kakigori machine for emergency shaved ice! :-)
Love it, love it, love it! WOW it looks like a wonderful beach to explore. If I was younger and able, I would explore every inch of those rocks and cliffs. Thank you so much for your video. For someone like me who will never be able to travel to all these wonderful places, I'm still able to experience them through your eyes. Thank you so much.
you are making me miss japan so much - touching on memories and "best ever" food moments! I went to miura, misaki port, jogaashima and the lighthouse..... there were some amazing little shops that were grilling corn and sazai in front of their place, and a shop that had their own momoya nori that I still get cravings for! my middle auntie had made a reservation (two weeks in advance!) at a restaurant (I am not certain if it was Kurobatei or another restaurant) that had a marquee outside in the front listing the family name(s) of the dining guests who were having Kabuto grill (a whole Bluefin tuna head that roasted in the oven for at least 4 hours). the entire meal was delicious - the presentation of that roasted tuna head and the sweetness of the tuna cheek was truly unforgettable.
Tuna, tuna, tuna!!! OH! MY! GOSH!! The freshness of the 3 types of sashimi in the Kairo Don! My mouth is watering! Brother, Misaki Port...... how far is it from Tokyo? Also, the Hon maguro.....Is the flavor fishy or is it rich flavored--like metallic--blood? The color reminds me of the part of the sashimi that my mom used to cut away and discard. ☺️ Either way, that bowl looked amazing!! Also, the Akamoku Maguro Katsu looked amazing! You can never go wrong with anything "Katsu'd." I've been known to cook my tuna sashimi, if it's gone beyond the expiration date by 1 or 2 days. I love that rich flavor! Misaki Port will definitely go on my "to do" list for our trip of a lifetime to Japan in a few years. As always, your honesty and your videos are much much appreciated! I just love you both so much! ❤️❤️ Love your zori too! I'm such a flip-flop fanatic! LOL!!
love the travel vlogs.. great to see where everything comes from. hope you guys had a great time and i hope we see more videos like this one..pretty please? love as always.. your channel is such a positive happy place to visit..i now have my sister in law and my mother and my eldest daughter subscribed to you channel
I really love these day trip travel videos, particularly when regional food tasting is involved! I hope you continue to be able to do them as they're so helpful for people planning to visit Japan. This is another place to add to my 'must go to' list now, I've never had a variety of fresh tuna like that before. I'll have to add another day to my trip to Japan! 😂
Flower at 10:30 is the national flower of Argentina, we call it Ceibo and with its flower's parts you can craft a little swan :) Surely it's found in a lot of other countries too, but I'm surprised you guys have it over there too!
I just love this episode, hunting for tuna and see what you get :D I like the idea of choosing one ingredient and search for treats within it, it's so interesting to see what you found. Everything looked soo delicious*^* thanks for sharing ^^/
Omg that flower is Uruguay's National Flower... I've never seen it overseas. I don't know it's name in other languages, but in Spanish it's Ceibo (セイボ). Also, about the tuna maguleine, idk about you guys, but here it is common to eat sweet rolled cake filled with tuna and mayo and decorate it with mayo and olives on top... it's delicious!
This was such a nice video! I love seeing the Japanese country and hearing the circada in the summer time. haha - you said "Tenting" - a naughty slang term in the US. ;-)
Been eating tuna all my life, but knew nothing about the varieties of ways to have it till your video. Tuna in a sweet baked good? Wow that's different... thanks
Most of the tuna in Japan is caught in the New England Waters even off the coast of where I live in Maine! You can come here and go down to the Waterfront and watch them Hall in these 500 pound tuna and the lobster boats come in with all their day's catch scallop divers and regular fisherman who fish for fish! You can even buy what you want from the boats which most people don't do but it saves a lot of money. Seafood is expensive everywhere but we pay less than the rest of the country. Our crab is small but sweet sweet sweet we buy them whole and boil them and put them on the table with newspaper and some butter and salt and you just sit and break crab and eat crab meat until you're ready for strawberry shortcake! :-)
No ahi for this pregnant woman LOL, but I cannot wait to eat sashimi/poke/ANY raw fish again. And your shave ice craving, mata mata 😂😂😂 Great video once again, such beautiful views and delicious food!
Joyce Wadzinski...... First and foremost, congratulations!!! Sashimi was THE main thing I missed when I was pregnant! Of course, the raw fish cravings were magnified when I couldn't have it!!
Just want to ask, I found out when you buy the Misaki Maguro ticket, you will get return train and bus trips, lunch from participate restaurant and only select 1 place to visit? Is it Onsen also included? And you just have to show your ticket then you can enjoy the service for free or you need to pay another ticket?
Ana Carolina I'm the same about canned salmon, the little bits of cartilage and bones and the smell are very off putting. However I love raw salmon and tuna! To me they taste and smell nothing like the canned stuff - it's worth giving it a try 😊
Guys, the Japanese are connoisseurs of great tuna. So I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. You've fired up my appetite! I can't wait to take Ms. Lulu for sashimi! Thanks for the great show!
Revisiting old tabi eats videos. Pls never change you two lmao.

You two are so perfect!
Most of the tuna in Japan is caught in the New England Waters even off the coast of where I live in Maine!
Usually the ticket includes all that.
But you only can choose 1 of the activities, is it correct?
3 types of tuna!!!!!
Tuna madeleine?!?
Love them! One of my fave youtubers
👍👍👍👍
Is that noise bugs?
Yeah, cicadas if I haven't mistaken.
That's what I thought ( I only know from playing animal crossing LOL )

hmm don't know how I feel about tuna. than again maybe it's just canned tuna that makes me gag.
Ana Carolina I'm the same about canned salmon, the little bits of cartilage and bones and the smell are very off putting. However I love raw salmon and tuna! To me they taste and smell nothing like the canned stuff - it's worth giving it a try 😊
Sweet tuna......nope
Lol cooked tuna...don't go to Japan then. Get canned tuna at the supermarket in North America, save you a plane ticket.
