We loved Ichiran so much that my family and I ate there 3 times while we were in Tokyo for 4 days! It's not just the food, it's also the experience of eating in a private booth. A deep connection between you and that special bowl of ramen. ♥️😊
Can I just say how much I appreciate that most of your videos have captions? Like for this video, I have a very hard time understanding you guys talking because of the background noise in the restaurant (just to clarify, I know it's not you guys' fault, it's my own auditory processing disorder) These looked really really delicious!!
My husband saw what must have been your video about this place. He says it's perfect for introverts ( people who really are not comfortable in social situations) because you don't have to talk to anyone much at all. He really liked the little booths.
you should definitely GET SOME! I wanted to recommend ICHIRAN as a place to visit during your next Meal Time video. Especially since this is the second time I see a good review for the place from a food youtuber.
Yum!! My mouth is watering so much, when i was in Tokyo i had to go twice to eat that ramen, i miss it so much! It's kind of hard to get really good ramen in Italy.
That looks like such a delicious meal! The ramen looked really wonderful, but I would especially like to try the matcha almond pudding. Wow!!!! I'm so glad you had such a nice time. It's great to see you two together, and I hope Satoshi is able to be at home more now. Sending lots of good wishes your way!
My two sons would eat there all the time . I really thought the whole concept was very clever . The ordering of the menu very simple now that I've seen how it done . The food was to die for thanks for sharing. 👍
My mouth is watering so much!! I remember having Ichiran when I went to Kyoto (I actually had no idea about the hype around this place at the time!) and I have to agree with you, the ramen here is delicious! Plus I love how it's so easy to customise to your own tastes. ☺
Your ramen looked amazing! I haven't had ramen in years - since I became a pescatarian. And how good did that matcha almond pudding look! You're so lucky! Thanks for taking us on this journey.
Yes. Just yes. My girlfriend and I went to Ichiran around a dozen times in the 2 weeks we were in Japan. Best ramen we've ever, ever had... And we tried a lot of ramen in Japan and back home.
This is my favorite ramen to eat whenever I went outside alone or with my brother (we can't speak japanese lol), because it's so easy, has english menu, and taste good. I really miss japan and its food :"( good video btw
One of my good friends is from Vietnam and he always introduces me to Asian foods that i would probably never try myself. Lately we've been eating ramen noodles. I gotta say its amazing!!
I never heard of this shop while I was living in Tokyo. Anyway, my favorite Ramen shop is located near Shinjuku Station and their noodles were tasty and cheap! It's called Ghifu-Ya (岐阜屋) and it's not stylish, not pretty but I always enjoyed eating there in the Winter. A big bowl of Ramen and Gyoza always made me feel happy. Oh, you can order beer and chu-hi!
I love the smell of the noodles cooking and them plain too lol. That just means more flavor broth for the noodles later. That smell could bring me right over like a magnet.
Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen is the best kind imo, the first time I ate it was in Osaka, second time in Okayama at a small Ramen shop with a really long queue but it moved quite fast, and I surprised my now wife and her sister by finishing my bowl, ordering a full portion of Kaidama and finishing that too before they were done. It's unbeatable with a healthy extra dose of green onions on top and spice to the max... I miss Japan for so many things, hope travel opens up again soon so I can go back and have proper Ramen again. I will stop by Ichiran in Umeda Hankyu-higashidori next time I go and check it out. I have to go by there anyway every time because of travel logistics.
That's so crazy because I went there when I was in Shibuya in an act of random choosing (seriously, I literally just stumbled upon the place when my friends and I were super hungry) last month and had no idea that it was actually a popular ramen joint! The ramen was great too!
This is my best ramen ever in Japan too. I always buy it back home for memories of it's taste. But it's actually can't compare with what I eat at the shop.

Me too
wow, I am so glad to find that I am not the only one!
For introverts like me, the setting is very nice. I like the privacy.

I love Satoshi's expression at the end of the video, he seems so satisfied with himself for dragging Shinichi to eat a Ichiran. Lol
dbzispimpin : and he got his ramen and beer too... 😊
Always will be my 1st meal whenever I'm in Japan.
Oh, I've got to try this place! Thanks guys for making this! Food Excellence.
I'd love to see a video of you experiencing it, Eric! :)

二年前、私は日本で留学した時、友達と一緒に一蘭でラーメンを食べました。とても美味しかったわ。一蘭に行った前、そんなに美味しいラーメンを食べた事がありませんでした。私の国にも一蘭のお店があったら良いなあ。

I love the smell of the noodles cooking and them plain too lol. That just means more flavor broth for the noodles later. That smell could bring me right over like a magnet.
Ohhhh I am so envious! I love pork-bone broth so much... and it's the best with a soft-boiled egg!
Really impressed by the amount of extra green onion. I always feel like ramen joints never give you enough!
Ichiran is one of the best noodles I ever had in my life thus far 😍😍😍
Love ichiran ramen. It's really good
Satoshi is truly a man after my own heart, ordering some delicious delicious beer with his ramen
Yum. So excited to try.
Guys, a great video as always! That ramen does looks super fantastic. :3
This made me soooo hungry. If I ever go to Japan, i'll go looking for this place.
I LOVE Ichiran Ramen, they have the only broth I can drink without getting sick
That was interesting, especially the way in which you order your food and how it is served. I wish that we had some restaurants like that in the UK.
It's nice to see a chain restaurant not go down in quality because of it being popular. It is rare to see this.
Love Ichiran! Ate at the Shibuya branch 3 times last time I visited Tokyo.
I had this ramen in new york! dear god was it good, made me want to go back RIGHT NOW watching this video lol

It looked so enjoyable and private (and yummy)!
6:41Mark Wiens impression
x-crisis they should do a video with Mark next time he's in Japan
x-crisis I thought he exact same thing! Glad I'm not the only one.
Mark The Headtilter?

Now I'm craving for a bowl of ramen.
I want to go to Japan so bad! Ichiran looks amazing!
if 1 opened near me i would eat this everyday for lunch.

This is my best ramen ever in Japan too. I always buy it back home for memories of it's taste. But it's actually can't compare with what I eat at the shop.
The US needs some form of antisocial dining like this too
Sam A we do its called ramen noodles at home watching netflix 😂
An ichiran opened up in Brooklyn but it costs at least 2-3x more than in Japan and isn’t as good
The egg is hard boiled and dry
😁😁😂😂
Truck stops are pretty close
Hit the drive thru of ANY fast food place then sit and eat in your car. Boom. Wish granted.
Glad you guys enjoyed Ichiran, I've never been a fan of their ramen. I hope you two checkout Ramen Jiro one day.
OMG I just had sushi for dinner but now I want ramen! LOL! And that matcha pudding looks SO good!
yay im glad to see ur vid on Ichiran! i just recently watched Mikey Chen's video on it and the restaurant seems so cool (:
Mike's reaction was too cute
I watched that as well.
Mike Chen and him kinda look alike
Almost like brothers ! Same facial features !
Not at all😒
Looks so good
I would really love to have a good bowl of ramen like that!
I wish they had a restaurant like this where I live...Connecticut USA. I would be a frequent customer. 🍜
