    Thanks for this video. This was the piece I was missing to get the Fenix A320 linked up to my Loupedeck Live via Midi. I have to say my first impression of this software is it's very powerful but incredibly complicated for the average simmer. It would be great if the setup could be a bit more streamlined, with less steps required to get up and running (and thus less to go wrong). Why is the LVARs app separate from the main application? It would be much simpler if it was all in one.

      Because it allows them to be updated separately and it’s different per simulator. Spad supports multiple sims not just MSFS.

      The installer is in the plugins directory. Grab it and install it on the Sim pc.

    sorry but what is L:VAR Bridge?

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  10 месяцев назад

      it's the WASM Module that goes in the community folder that allows SPAD to communicate with L:VARs and H:Events.

      @@LesOReilly L:VARs and H:Events what they are?

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@hkr4life L:VARS are Local Variables that simulation objects can declare when the load. H:Events are the HTML/JS event system that was added in MSFS for the new HTML/JS based avionics. These Events can not be sent via the standard simconnect method like a K:Event can or an A:VAR .. They require a bridge. For further understanding I would suggest reviewing the Simulation documentation regarding the SDK. docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Additional_Information/Reverse_Polish_Notation.htm scroll down on that page for all of the variable and event types.
