Another main reason is direct sunlight on the screen. On a hot summer day is when my screen turned that crazed look. Look down through your windshield. The screen is facing the sun
Yes, for sure. We find that in hot sunny climates, the factory screens only last 1-3 years due to the constant heat and sunlight causing the gel to evaporate faster. Northern states can go 3-5 years on the factory screens.
So satisfying seeing you scratch into the gel. When you wrote CUE i was hoping you go back to write Clueless. Also thank you for showing which screen to order, the gel oem factory version is a waste i like how you show getting a screen that doesn't use such gel and would save you from it reoccurring! Thank you so much!

I have a Cadillac ATS and the previous owner said she replaced it when it broke idk if it’s a CUESCREENS or not

Yeah, every Cadillac owner with the 2013+ CUE system has the issue after 3-6 years. So millions of cars.
