- Having issues with your Uconnect 4/ 4c system found in nearly all Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram vehicles 2017+??
Frustrated by a $1,000+ dealer quote to fix it and a 2 year backorder?
You’ve come to the right place.
Many vehicles are experiencing delamination, causing a bubbling or peeling appearance.
This leads to lost touch response and other issues and loss of boat function control.
We have engineered replacement display panels that utilize improved technology bonding and will not fail again.
It's a simple DIY video as shown here and no need to hassle with dealer appointments, diagnostic fees, return visits, dropping your car off, etc.
Order at www.cuescreens.com/product-pa...
Watch out for the numerous Chinese replicas on ebay that are sub par quality, no support or warranty, and will last one month.
Also watch out for the $20-$40 clear glass touch panels only- to install those you have to spend 8 hours cleaning glue and will likely have a lot of defects. Our panels have the LCD and touch bonded together to make it a perfect quick installation.

Almost paid $1,100 to the dealer for a replacement radio. Based on these great comments I did it myself and saved $800! Really easy to replace the screen. Don’t waste your money on a new radio. Excellent instruction!
Just installed mine. This couldn't have been easier. Saved myself about $600 in under an hour. Just follow the video, you can't go wrong.
Nice job! $600 per hour is worth it no matter who you are
Did you re install using double sided tape?
@@JohnnyAces No tape needed here- its done with screws exactly as shown in the video. The cheap glass only replacements are a mess and never recommended.
I just replaced my delaminated display with a $220 display from Amazon and it looked like absolute garbage and would randomly shut off. I ended up finding cuescreens with a Google search and placed the order. I just installed it this morning and holy cow!!! I swear it looks better than the original screen ever did. The installation is super easy and the display works flawlessly.
You get what you pay for- often times it costs more time and money to go the cheap route rather than the true OE replacement upgrade :)
Just replaced my screen with this unit and it works perfect and looks great. Took less than an hour. If I knew what I was doing probably could have completed in 15 min. Super simple installation.
Nice job!
Took only a week to arrive in the UK from the US - I re-watched the above video & did the install in less than an hour - Perfect. The screen looks amazing and now I don't have to fight with the system to do what I want it to! The hardest part for me was removing the surround with my pry tools! Well worth the investment in both time and money - thank you Cuescreens
nice job!
Just finished installing this screen on my 2018 Ram 1500. Took me about an hour and half but I was working very slowly and methodically. I'm so glad to be throwing out that garbage factory delaminated display, I had endless phantom touches yesterday and couldn't take it anymore. Installation with help from this video was so easy, and the finished product looks perfect.
Just finished installing on a 2017 Chrysler 300c. This demonstration was spot on! Mine even had all the gel in the bottom like this video. After watching the video 3 time and being very careful, it took me 30 minutes. TIP: Make sure that you replace whatever you lay the old screen on so that you do not get gel on your new screen. (Like a paper towel). I got a little of that gel on the new screen. Came right off with my eyeglass cleaner. My screen booted up right away, no issues.
good tip
Great fix to an annoying problem. Works perfectly and the instructions were spot on! Well done.
Great to hear!
I bought and replaced this Cuescreen as per the video on my 2018 Grand Cherokee. The only problems I had was the large quantity of 'glue' that was on the frame, which I used a gasoline soaked rag to remove. And, I managed to break two of the connector's locking tabs as I removed them, meaning they wouldn't lock on again at re-assembly. I put a drop of super glue on them and pushed them in, hoping they don't come loose later, and assuming they will never need to be removed again. Other than that, the screen looks great, and came on as expected. Thx!
a video with Good quality, IT IS NOTED that he is an expert, with professional training. I am trying to solve a bad connection in my cables for not opening correctly. Without a doubt, this is the best way of not messing up the components and taking it step by step without doing double work.🎉🎉
Yes, follow this instruction to prevent the issue you had. Your antenna cables have become damaged or disconnected I assume? Three tiny cables inside the unit?
@@CUESCREENS I'm checking if I left something wrong connected. My screen has black gray and white colors, ebay support said that something was wrongly connected. The first time it was installed and it worked, it stopped working 2 days later it was already installed.
@@viclop3867 Those tiny antenna cables are near impossible to get reattached without breaking. Your radio will not work with them disconnected.
Just installed my replacement from Cuescreens on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (CarPlay). Works great and looks even better. Awesome video thank you!!!
Great work!
@mitchellbass8427 did you have any factory lock issues? Or can I purchase the cuescreens and install just fine?
@@kayleelino1219 yeah just install it as shown here and there is no issues, assuming you didn't have issues before. If you have security problems, replacing the screen won't fix it
@@kayleelino1219 Screen has nothing to do with factory lock. Order and install
I’m realizing I’m gonna have to do this too on mine smh… how did you get the unit out of the dash?
Thank you. This made install super easy.
You're welcome!
If you're on the fence about tackling this project, let me assure you: DO IT! I was initially hesitant, but it turned out to be a breeze. Despite encountering a slight deviation from the instructional video I followed, the process was even easier than anticipated.
It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish, with the only hiccup being the trim piece removal, which consumed merely 5 minutes of that time. My motivation for the upgrade stemmed from a gouged screen left by the previous owner. However, upon extracting the OEM screen, I discovered it was beginning to delaminate in the bottom left corner, affirming the necessity of replacement.
The replacement process was straightforward, and the results exceeded my expectations. Not only is the new screen flawlessly installed, but its image quality surpasses that of the OEM version. I'm thoroughly impressed with the outcome and highly recommend this upgrade to anyone considering it.
That thing is moving out!!💪

Vary nice job ❤
Just got finished installing your screen today on my 2017 Compass. I reviewed MANY videos on this, but your video is such that I don't have to take extra steps. I wish I had your code to get a discount before buying it. I asked the AI assistant, but he wasn't helpful. I'm finally putting the radio back in, and the red wire would not fit, but I looked at a before picture I took, and realized the red wire goes in the right-side connection. I really struggled trying to get the bezel off, because I thought it would break. I went to the dealer to get a scheduled oil change, he said they would remove it at NO CHARGE. Can you believe that? Of course, they charge $70 for an oil change, so my request wasn't too much. I'm happy with the product. Thank you.
Thanks Gary glad you like it! Yes the bezels can sometimes get sticky over the years and take some pressure to remove. And yeah, the red wire has a one way slot so it only fits corectly the one way. Take care
Ordered a screen for a 2018 Ram 1500, awaiting shipment. Looking forward to new screen. Radio is on bench prepared for new screen. I did the cleaning thing but videos show it doesn’t always work and fails over time. This should rectify all issues.
My thoughts have been that the manufacturers are putting a lot of shiny useless items into vehicles that break right after the 3/36k bumper to bumper warranty. Sheesh
Will this screen work for my 2015 Challenger SRT 392? I see you have another one on your website for $99 for 2015 models.
Does anyone know where the small black wire connects on the panel. Mine came apart.
I have a 2018 Jeep Compass and the screws on the back are not phillips. They look like Torx, but are smaller than any Torx I have. Anyone know what size Torx they are?
I used one of these screens and everything is great EXCEPT the display isn’t centered on the screen. It’s roughly 1/4” to the left. The button clicks line up center, but the entire display is shifted to the left and I have tried everything to try and center it and cannot find a solution.
Did anybody run into an issue where they couldn’t get all six screws back in? One of the screws both won’t go all the way in and also won’t come back out. So I’m kind of stuck.
If you overtighten it can jam up. Pull back on the screw while loosening. Or remove the other ones and let it drop forward so you can grab the nut with a needle nose pliers. You can remove the nut and just secure it with the remaining nuts, or you can get a replacement from us for free just email
Quick question. I followed disassembly and assembly but do you know what that tiny black wire does at 5:53?
The black wire got cut during cleaning up the glue mess and after assembling the screen does'n turn on...perhaps it's because of that?
Its a chassis ground, probably not the end of the world with it off
With this screen will I still be able to access the “super track pak” performance page and apple car play and back up camera?
Yes, the LCD screen just displays whatever is sent to it so any option you had before will be there after the replacement. Sometimes the system needs a couple drive cycles to reset it there is someone missing. This is normal when the radio is disconnected. Just wait a day or two and everything comes back
Hola tengo una 2018 ram 1500 el radio tiene burbujas y por veces se para no reproduce música no hace nada se mueve para todos lados, una pregunta si remplazo la pantalla LCD los problemas del radio se acabarían?
Si correcto carnal Mario.
Hey there, need to replace my screen as well on my 2018 Grand Cherokee - apologies if this is a stupid question😅
Does this replacement screen also work with Apple CarPlay and android auto? any help is much appreciated!
Yes, if you have apple carplay or android auto it will be the same on the new scren
I just bought this on Amazon. It’s been installed but sometime the screen get too hot and shuts off. I don’t like that.
When you say transfer the ribbon cable, do you mean take the ribbon cable off the OE panel and put that one on the new Cue screen? Meaning take the new cable off the new screen and take the old cable off the OE screen and move that old cable to the new panel?
Yes that is correct
How much is the cue screen for a 2018 jeep compass, also it seems more of a connection problem,so if i replace screen would this fix the connection problem. Thanks
check cuescreens.com/shop and enter your year make and model to see the right version. There are several different 8.4 radios and you want to make sure to get the right one.
Just replaced ours the screen comes on , but the touch is not working? Any idea what could be causing this? We took it apart and checked the ribbon connections.
Check ribbon on digitizer, its torn or not connected. Or you ordered a different brand
On my 2018 Chrysler 300 S the touchpanel changes channels on its own and in climate mode it changes from max ac to ac also on its own. Will the replacement of the screen remedy this issue?
Yes it will
is this the same unit that is in the wrangler? Will it fit the wrangler?

Just installed mine. It was working fine. Got everything put back together then the screen went black
Within your video, you have listed 2019-2021 Jeep Cherokee, however below in the description panel you have it excluded from the list. I then went to the website and entered my make, 2020 Jeep - but Cherokee is not within the drop-down list. Could this actually fit a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk?
Yes its compatible, we fixed the compatibility guide
set it up and it looks amazing , especially considering everybody else told me it'd easilly cost me over 1000$. my only issues so far are that it doesn't have the super track pack mode for my 2020 dodge charger gt or backup camera, is there anyway to fix this?
Ever find a fix?
@@bryanmyers2017 yes i did , after a few days it magically started working
You just have to wait a day for everything to reset. This is in the instructions on the sticker.
Will I lose my 4x4 apps?
Will this give you carplay on a VP3/4 unit?
Hi, no it wont. This is only to replace the defective delaminated screen on the UAQ UAS units.

What do you know about Subaru Legacy’s digitizer?
Hi, these are coming next month. High failure rate. Keep an eye at cuescreens.com and we will have one available for you.
@@CUESCREENS I have researched the touchscreen screen issue in depth and can say that many automakers have screen issues. So many that it would be better to drop the screens and go to standard radios that don’t require the driver to take unnecessary chances behind the wheel. As to having a Subaru touchscreen, please keep it reasonably priced or it won’t be worth the cost in this high inflation market. Just the digitizer please 🙏

This brand new LCD doesn't require Digitizer ?
Good ? waiting for an answer as well.
No answer yet?
@@corygriffin1053 hey Cory I’m out in Dallas do you guys sell theses and install them?
@CUESCREENS I done mine yesterday, and it took me a roll of kitchen paper ,1 bottle of isopropyl alcohol and about 3 hours of my time
It was stated at the beginning of the video this was a LCD display with digitizer already bonded together. They are using a better bonding material than was used on the originals.
Since there is no separating of the digitizer/LCD involved, hours of cleaning is avoided. The double stick tape fix also leaves an air gap inviting problems and degrades the optical quality.
Is it fits 2015 chrysler 200 ?
Look them up. I seen it on Amazon.
You can seen it at cuescreens.com!!!

Buy this one and dont worry about it again :) www.cuescreens.com/product-page/chrysler-uconnect-4-uaq-uas-replacement-lcd-charger-challenger-ram-grand-cherokee
There are 2 different screens. The one you show is the basic 4C UAQ screen and not the more complex 4C NAV screen. Please don't say they are all the same as they are completely different.
Hi, this is incorrect. The UAQ/UAS screen is identical with or without nav on this generation. The alternate UAV/UAM does have a difference between those two but its definitely not more complex. For the correct fitment, find the right match at cuescreens.com part finder.
Also incorrect on the RPOs:
UAQ = NAV
UAS = without NAV
All the complication is in the head unit, not the display.
just quoted 1800$ to replace the unit from the dealer ridiculous.
No need to waste your money, just replace the lcd in 10 mins as shown here.
