Hi beauties! Here are 3 hair growth tips you can't skip while protective styling; this is an easy way to promote hair growth in your sleep! You all know that I've been where mini twists as my quarantine protective style and since we are on a hair growth journey, I HAVE to show you how I maintain healthy hair & promote hair growth while protective styling. This is my realistic night time routine while I keep my 4C hair in mini twists! It's super easy & effective! Without further ado, let's talk about my natural hair night routine for protective styles that will include hair steaming, regular scalp massages, and scalp care with hair growth oils.
In addition to the benefits of hair steaming that I have already mentioned in the video, here are some I forgot to mention:
-You can choose to stretch your hair with the streamer or you can use it to detangle before cleansing.
-You can enhance your deep conditioner by adding steam to open the cuticle so the conditioner can penetrate the hair shaft.
-You can boost volume and reshape an old wash and go.

So far I have used the steam from the shower, I will try this!
I hope you don’t stop creating content, I am from Spain and in my language there is no girl with 4c hair and who does this type of content. 1 year ago I did the big chop and searching on youtube you were the first person I saw to know how to take care of my hair!
And I fell in love with your spirit and your way of being.😄
I hope you overcome everything you are going through, nobody knows what you need better than you. Keep it up sister!🥰🧡💪🏾

I’ve experienced the clogging w/ mine(Had mine for about 7 years)😩The best way to fix it, is to sprinkle some baking soda into the holes and add a tsp of vinegar to water in the water compartment.. Let steam run thru til water is gone and it’ll be just like new

Clogging is caused by using hard water from your tap. This is why you use distilled water in steamers, kettles, clothes irons etc.

Your hair looks healthy and the vid. is interesting. I steam my face sometimes )Swiss Kriss Herbs), but I've never considered how steaming can also benefit my hair...go figure! The shower is a good tip too, rather than slapping a shower cap on. Here's a way you can strenghthen your arms: certain yoga moves/and/or stances help to strenghthen your arms so they don't get tired. Thanx, sis.

It asks for distilled water because it doesn’t have the minerals in it that would clog it overtime so if you don’t want to have to unclug it it might be worth buying the gallon of dh20, I think it’s only $1 🙂

It’s easy to clean it out didn’t it come with the attachment it’s like $5. But you should really get distilled water. It’s good to clean it out after 4 or 5 uses with part water and part vinegar. I use it mostly to get tangled out of my hair before washing. Or if I’m restyling my hair brought this one first. Then wanted to just sit and get a steam. So I went and brought the Red Hardhead steamer because also because didn’t wanna burn this little one out
