    Girl agreed! I think I spend about half the year in mini twists and its literally changed my entire head of hair. I highly recommend if you are trying to grow your hair or make it denser! I do mine a lot smaller, each one of urs is prob 4-6 twists on my head. and I do mine on blow dried hair exclusively...my hair doesnt like being twisted wet, it tangles a lot more...which is weird bc i literally wet my hair once im done twisting to flush the twists and curl my ends back

    • @GlowupwithPaige
      @GlowupwithPaige  Год назад +3

      Thank you🥰💖 It all depends on how small or big you want them. I think I do about 8-10 twists for each section. I leave my twists in for 2 weeks max. If I leave them in longer my hair will start to loc up and lastly I moisturize my twists at least once a week, if you wet your twists every day they will get frizzy. So I'd suggest see how your hair feels throughout the week and moisturize when needed. Make sure watch my other twists videos where I explain everything I do to maintain them. Good luck👍💖

    Great job! Your hair has grown nicely since last year.💜 It really is about a simple and consistent routine that works for your hair. Shampoo, condition, detangle, and style and keep doing that at the frequency that's right for you. Retaining length doesn't have to be difficult. My styling is a wash&go about 95% of the time, and I shampoo, condition, detangle, and style every 4 - 5 days. I also trim about 3 times a year. On occasion, I'll do a pinned-up style with a few twists. Been doing this same routine for a long time, and my hair is about an inch from tailbone length. Initially, I didn't know if my method would work for me, but I knew I didn't have the patience to twist or braid weekly.

      I have the same question!!

    • @GlowupwithPaige
      @GlowupwithPaige  Год назад +14

      Hey Celine. 1. I moisturize 2-3 times a week. So for example if I wash my hair on Sunday by Wednesday I'll re moisturize it and so forth. It all depends on how dry my hair is I may have to moisturize up to 3 times a week. 2. I would say build a hair routine and be consistent with it. For example before installing the Marley twists make sure you thoroughly shampoo, deep condition with heat and apply your moisturizer. Once you're ready to take out the Marley twists repeat the same steps. This is what a routine looks like. I promise you once you build a routine and you are consistent with it you will see results. I've been growing out my hair wearing twists for 2 years following this exact routine and if you look at my old videos you will see the growth. The routine does not have to be complicated. Start with a simple routine and tweak it as you go. Good luck!😉👍
