Your hair looks amazing - and so healthy! I did the big chop in August 2021, and I've been wearing my hair in box braids since then, with extensions. I've never tried mini twists before, but i want to - and i think I'm gonna try this style next! My hair is about as long as yours, so I'm excited to see how it turns out! Thank you for the video ❤️

Thank you😊💖💖
I love it! Beautiful healthy hair. Funny because I just treated washed and blow dried my hair and was thinking of doing twist to recover from my postpartum hair breakage!!!
Thank you☺️💖 The mini twists would be a great way to give your hair a break especially while it's going through postpartum. I hope it turns out nice!
@@GlowupwithPaige you’re so kind 🤗 💜 thank you! I wish your RUclips channel much success!
Awww thank you soo much😊. I try to make sure I reply to all of you guys comments. It truly makes my day💖😊
I love mini twist- so easy to take of them. I do them sometimes and leave them in for 2 weeks. After I take them down my hair still sheds and I don’t like that part. Your hair looks so good and healthy
Thank you so much 😊💖💖
My hair does the same but I just realize I got to keep it moisturize every other day and that should help with that.
Thank you for sharing sis, your absolutely beautiful. I had major growth from chin length to just under my shoulders in less than two years. I washed and deep conditioned once a week consistently. Eventually, I grew tired of always twisting and decided to chemically treat. Big mistake! Now going back to old faithful.
You are very welcome hun and I wish you all the best on your healthy hair journey😊💖💖
My daughter did this. She came from school with a few twists chopped off. I thought it was a child that did it. The teacher informed me that my daughter cut her own hair. My daughter was and still is scissor happy with her hair. She snipped her hair a few times throughout elementary and middle school and finally cut her hair to chin length, but now wants to go shorter.
Oh wow!
Beautiful healthy hair
Thank you so much 😊💖💖
@@GlowupwithPaige U're welcome ☺️
I can't believe how fast your hair has grown!
What?
Lol I know it's crazy!! Thanks 💖
Absolutely gorgeous….
Thank you 😊💖💖
I think I may do some mini twist tonight when I get off work. I need to out my hair away for a few weeks before I cut it off.
Lol yess it can be frustrating I can relate. When I see myself getting annoyed with my hair for whatever reason I install my mini twists.
Beautiful 🌺
Thank you😊💖💖
Your hair looks very beautiful. New sub here
Thank you so much and welcome to the glow up family 😊💖💖💖
Beautifu crown of hair 👑 ❤

Your hair is beautiful. Thanks for the video ❤
Thank you so much and you’re welcome 😊💖💖
You look Beautiful 💜
Thank you so much 😊💖
You are beautiful. Hair as well ✨
Thank you so much🥰💖💖
Lovely results 😍 I love mini twists but 2wks sis? Nah I have to keep them in for a month when I do them cos the arm workout has to be worth it 😂 I'm actually feeling like doing a set next wash day.
🤣🤣 I actually may keep them in longer. I've been so busy last week with work so I didn't had chance to take them down after 2 weeks of wearing them.
Have you ever tried flax seed gel? It’s amazing and easily comes out of the hair. It’s a great alternative to edge control and eco styler gel. It give a nice hold.
No I haven’t. I’ll have to check it out.
Paige your hair looks great as always. I just got through twisting my hair not to long ago. Twists are my protective style and my hair is retaining length with them. I keep them in a week but this time I made them a little smaller so I’m going for 2 weeks because I wash my hair every 2 weeks now instead of every week like I used to. Question for you, what is your advice on protein treatment for low porosity hair?
Awesome and thank you so much ☺️💖💖. When it comes to protein treatments, I like to rotate my moisturizing and protein deep conditioners every week. So one week I'll use a moisturizing deep conditioner without protein then a next week I'll use a strengthening hair mask that has hydrolyzed proteins in it. I find that this helps to balance the moisture and protein in my hair.
@@GlowupwithPaige ok thanks for that. My hair is shedding somewhat so that’s why I asked about a protein treatment. It’s not shedding bad but still just a little too much for my comfort.
Hey Paige, would like to know your routine, your hair looks healthy and has grown so much
Hey hun sure! I created a wash day routine playlist where I show how I take care of my hair. You can watch the videos here: ruclips.net/p/PL7Ge-L2cCKM8ijYxvt2o9NhnYJ6fsh8F8 and also check out my moisturization routine videos. I show how I keep my hair soft and moist throughout the week. You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/DDuuvhtmI5E/видео.html When it comes to growing out your natural hair, you need to create a routine and be consistent with it. Remember to keep things simple!😉💖
@@GlowupwithPaige thank you so much
Your hair is just gorge! 😍😩It is just flourishing! Do you have a length goal?
Thank you so much hun💖💖 and no I don't. I never thought about setting a length goal. Just trying to keep it healthy and grow it out as long as I can.
2 weeks! Oh no no no. My twists stay in for a cool month. Everytime.
Lol oh wow wish I can stretch mines that long. Lucky you!
Hi beautiful hair ur hair grew fast love watching ur videos do u have the link to the hair dryer?
Thank you so much 😊💖. I’ve been using the conair brand: amzn.to/3HiPJZo
Also, would love to see a video of how you trim your hair.
Here's an old video of me trimming my hair ruclips.net/video/vOuBXyAS7nE/видео.html I will be updating it soon.
@@GlowupwithPaige Thank you!!🤗 I'll check it out 😊
Your hair is looking lovely i wish my was full like yours
Aww thank you ☺️💖💖💖
Tried this today and just finished. It’s not the prettiest and neatest, but they look descent and should last until my next wash before I get my hair braided. I did like you did and just finger parted my hair and this made it go faster because I would have driven myself crazy trying to get perfect parts with a comb. Will definitely do them again in between braids.
Lol yesss the parting can be a pain!!!
Bet it looked beautiful when you took the down, do you wear that lose look for a few days? I do , it’s my glam time😊
Yes it was beautiful. I usually take the twists down and wear a high puff or down as a twist out when it’s getting close to my wash day.
Did mine, but did not blow dry, leaving these in for a month, in Spring I will do a stretched mini twist with blow dryer.
Awesome hope it turned out beautiful💖💖
Hey, Do you do LCO still 2x/week while your hair is in these twists ?
Yes I still do the LCO method 1-2 times a week while wearing the twists.
Hi Paige, what heat protectant did you use? The one you have listed doesn’t look the same as the one in the video.
It's in the link. The one she started out with, she said she didn't like how her hair felt. So she linked the creme of nature one that she used instead.
Thanks for replying 🙂💖
My roots get puffy
Do you treat your hair on the inside?
Example vitamins?
Do you mean hair growth vitamins? If you are no I don't. I have some women's multi vitamins at home but honestly I am not consistent with taking them. I try to eat a good amount of fruits, salads and drink plenty water.
I've had my mini twists in for almost a month now, but I'm not ready to take them down. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to keep these in, though. I may redo the perimeter and stretch it for another 2-3 weeks 🥴
Lol I wish I could leave mines in that long. So far the longest I’ve had them in is 3 weeks.
@@GlowupwithPaige Well I lasted almost another 2 weeks. I took them down 3 days ago, washed my hair, and did box braids yesterday lol
Almost another 2 weeks wow!!! How long do you plan to leave the box braids in?
@@GlowupwithPaige I hope they last 3-4 weeks but since I did them large, I'm not sure they'll last that long. This was my first time doing them and some of the ones in the back aren't as tight as I would like. I may need to redo a few.
How often do you wash and twist ?
Lately I’ve been washing and twisting every 2 weeks.
Mini twist for 1 week. I’m too scared to live longer than that. Do not want it to lock up.
Plus I’m high porosity 4b hair with some gray. My hair has to be prepoo and deep condition weekly.
Your hair has grown so much. That’s what I’m looking to gain (length with my mini twist)
Aw I totally understand and thank you hun. You’ll get there😊💖💖
Please sis am asking for the name of the moisturizing cream 🙏
Sorry for the late reply. I’m using this moisturizing cream: amzn.to/3I7jNH0
Will too much swimming mess up the mini twists?
It may cause dryness and some tangles from constantly wetting it. Try wearing a swimming cap to protect your hair. I know for my hair, wetting it constantly with mini twists can cause tangles and locking at the roots but everyone’s hair is different. You’ll have to see how your hair reacts.
Do you prefer doing twists on wet or dry hair
I prefer dry hair because it shows my length.
Can those stay in like maybe 4 to 6 months ❤
Yes they can but for my hair type that would be a disaster. I prefer to leave them in for 3 weeks max.
I’m getting ready to comb out my locs and I’m so nervous about how my hair texture is going to be. I have always had very dry, thick and course hair.
I fear my hair will not retain the length that I have and/or the twists will not look as clean as others do. Ugh 💔💔💔
I totally understand. Moisture is going to be your best friend. Our hair is naturally dry so we have to keep putting that moisture back into our hair, if we don’t it will break. Just try to take it one day at a time. You’ll have to learn your hair all over again. Try different routines and products to see what works. It’s going to be a lot of trial and error but don’t give up!💖💖💖
I probably won’t get a response because it’s been so long 😭 but how do you wrap them overnight
I try to respond to all of my comments but I simply wear my bonnet. If I want my edges to lay down I would put on my scarf first then bonnet.
3 hours! That's more like a 7 hour plus hairdo.
😂😂😂 if it took me that long I probably wouldn’t do it.
