- In this video I'll be experimenting with mini twists using a different technique than usual on my natural hair. I was inspired by @Freshhairbyro over on Instagram, who is a awesome Natural Hair Specialist & Curl Enthusiast. I love them because the remind me of spring twists. Thanks for watching!

They look nice, juicy and healthy. This is how I wear my hair majority of the time. I blow it out, use shea butter, then after a week or so I put a curling cream on my ends. To sleep I just pull it back in a ponytail.
OMG the shea butter method sounds soooo moisturizing
I did this and really loved the results. I usually twist. Right after conditioning & use spray of water & products and my hair shrinks by the next day & I untwist. But I’ve wanted to keep the twists in & this method helped keep length & turned out much better than expected. I still May untwist soon because of curiosity but it looks good this way ❤
you hair is so healthy and long and thick... the twist look so so good... thanks for sharing this with us... your hair turned out great and I will be trying this style on myself as well......
Thank you so much! I hope you end up loving it ❤️
Love the technique you used for your mini twists! The elongated look is stunning. Thanks for sharing your process and results. Keep experimenting, you're doing great!
I have been searching for a video on how to do this for months. I wore elongated twists once that had a lot of swing but didn't note what I did to achieve the style. Thanks for posting!!!
Sooo cool, bouncy and great!
Your hair came out wonderful. I use to wear my hair in twist all the time. But I stop. But I want to start back again. This gave me an idea. I will try this method. Thank you for sharing.🌼🌸
You are so welcome ❤️
My hair is long but if I were to try to wear this, so much scalp will be showing 😭😩 Yours turned out gorgeous!
This video made me brave enough to try this as Pyper’s next protective style at home. Thank you for the education as always ❤
You are so welcome! thank you for watching, I know she is going to look too cute 🥰
I followed your steps exactly and I love my results. Thank you!
I love to hear that!!! ❤️
It is beautiful!❤ You did a great job. 👍🏼
Thanks ☺️
Twisting with no product but then adding it after the style is done? 😮 I’m gonna try
Girl crazy right?!!! I love the look of them
This was super helpful. Thank you for posting. I'll do my best to achieve this look this weekend :)
You are so welcome, I know its going to come out cute
Beautiful sis! Gonna do these twists on my daughter. Thank you!
Thanks love! I already know it’s going to come out beautiful ❤️
I thought i was looking at kinky crush 36 or pre fluffed poppin twist then i realised it was your own hair lol well done !!!
Thanks girllll! ❤️
The ends of your hair looks fabulous and healthy keep it up
Thankssss, im trying to keep it up. It's about that time for a trim!
super cute!!
Thank you so much!
Did a great job
Love it! I'm gonna try this on my daughter!
Please do and have fun!
Your hair and hair style is beautiful. ❤
thank you Claudia ❤️
Loving the results!
I’ve been doing it all wrong too!
Will be using this method for my cesarean this week!
I will not have time for hair at all
🦋🦋🦋
You got this gorgeous ❤️
I feel this! I will be induced within the next 2/3 weeks and I need something simple! My mom used to do mini/micro twists on my long, thick hair as a kid (on blown out hair) and it always kept my hair elongated and healthy, so I'm going back to the older, fail-proof ways lol
I love this method I've been doing this for a while now unless I'm being lazy and then I wet twist.
Girl I wish I would’ve been doing it this way! I love it 🥰
Fantastic
it the length for me and the movement 😍😍
Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great job!
Thank you!! ❤
You are so beautiful QUEEN
Aww thank you so much!! ❤️
looks good
Thank you so much!
I start with 3 and one divided in to then twist
I'm going to have to try that soon!
same, it keeps the roots fresh & flat! Just ensure to properly oil fingers or moisturize during the take down process bc the braid could cause knots. 🔑
Thank you,It helps
Glad it helped!
Nice.... I'm gonna try the stretch method for her because I hardly ever blowdry
Have you tried it yet? I bet its fabulous.
"already acting brand new" 😆😆
shol was lmao
So the hair is completely dry as you twist ?
How long does that style last
How often do you do redo this style and overtime do you think the blow drying would cause heat damage. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Hey! I probably do it 4 times out of the year, I love it around the summer and spring months. and as long as you aren't using heat too often, I think you'd be fine.
@@AlysaNicole_hello, for how long do you keep your style ?
How were you doing the twists wrong beforehand and how is this different to usual?
I kept skipping to get to the part where I'd get that info so sorry if I missed it but I'm confused.
My twists usually open up and go loose too soon so I wasn't sure if this method would do better but it just looks like normal twists?
Usually I use cream which gives it a completely different look than this. Blow dried & dry gives it a more fluffier finish.
Your twists might do better with staying if they are fluffier. I’m not 100% sure, hope this technique helps
@@AlysaNicole_ Ah ok, my curls kinda look like yours when wet but my roots are too smooth so my twists and braids come out too quick even when they're put in tight (also I don't want to get hair loss so I'm more willing to have loose roots than tugged out ones lmao).
I recently tried really loose braids that made my hair just look like natural curls clumping to themselves, which I wasn't expecting to work. So I'm gonna try that when it's next wet and see if it holds better or worse.
Kinda hard to know what to do as my hair has 75% shrinkage but is very moisture hungry but not dry, lol just greedy hair trying to do everything at once I guess. Never know how it'll respond. lol
What does the foam do? I’ve wanted to try but haven’t yet
girllll it's amazing, adds shine and a light holding product without weighing down your hair
I wish I had your hair texture so my twist can come out like yours.
U gotta work with what you got baby
Are you twisting to rhe right or left?
I twists to the right but it’s whatever you prefer 😊
I started mines out like knotless braids i added kinky twist hair in it
ouuuu that sounds super cute!
What do you use for hair growth
Hi trinity! Just a consistent wash day routine is all & low manipulation hairstyles + consistent trims to retain length.
