When I started working in a call center, that campaign was not that difficult at the beginning, I had no idea how to type. I started with typing club from the very beginning. Now, I'm in lesson 487. At that time, I typed seeing the keyboard and like 18 wpm. Now I don't see the keyboard anymore, I don't need it, I'm typing 40 wpm. I feel fascinated doing so. It's been 3 months. I practice 20 minutes a day

Agent ako, dati di ako marunong mag type di gaanong mabilis but now since, voice kami at may halong non voice medjo kabisado ko na lahat at most of the time di na ako tumitingin sa keyboard. Kudos sa inapply'an ko now

I aspire to be like this... tbh the only thing I did to pass the typing test is that I memorize the words/sentences so that I would not have to look again on the paragraph assigned to be typed... but I still want to learn touch typing because I think this will make our work easier and efficient 😊

so my avg wpm is around 45-50 is that enough as a beginner ? i plan to improve of course as i intend to get into coding where being able to touch type would be a great help, I'm currently enrolled as a chat support agent in the process of training, trying to get used to the keyboards at work as I'm used to typing on my laptop where the keys don't take much force to actuate but i think that's something I'll get use to soon after a couple days-weeks

I got too over confident to myself since I "used" to always use computers before, I thought I can type 35 wpm, then I tested my typing skill using typing test online, and to my disappointment, I can only type 25 - 27 wpm 😥😓

Which app? The one that pronounces words? That wasn’t an app. I just typed the word on google and the first page result should show an audio you can play to hear the word’s pronunciation.

Sure, as long as it's the same keyboard layout as a regular keyboard.
Basically,in your own assesment...how many hours will i going to spend everyday in typing practicing?
2-3 hours scattered throughout the day based on your schedule would be more than sufficient.
There are 7 lessons. Spend 2 days on each lesson and you’ll complete it in 2 weeks.
