I can’t stop coming back to this. So so many amazing memories because of GT3. I even used to turn my PS2 on just to play this and listen to its soundtracks over and over. Every single time I hear the car flyby, my entire being tingles with excitement knowing such a masterpiece is about to be bestowed upon my ears, my brain…my soul. It feels too good for me to listen to but I can’t stop.
@@user-xt7cj4zv2x factual. I still cant stop listening. I dusted off my PS2, found my entire games collection, and picked out both GT3 and NFSU2. Boutta have a wild week
japanese jazz fusion pretty much, look up yatabe track day on youtube it's somewhat similar and if you keep looking in that genre you'll find more like this. Citypop is pretty good too but not the same vibe.
weird that this year old question was answered 6 minutes ago because i was typing the same answer right now lol. It is jazz Fusion, and Japanese Jazz Fusion is rather distinctive so look into japanese jazz fusion artists like listed here. Tons of videogames from japan have jazz fusions soundtracks, or bonus tracks in the soundtrack.
Because the game uses sequenced music (music created with instruments seperated of each 1 second in the files), so I think they lost the files or they didnd't want to re-create a file (because what you hear in game is not a real music, its the game that call the files to be played in order but it's not a compelte file with a normal music, its created by the game), so they re-created them with real instruments, and this one is performed, not created digitally.
Oh, so that's why I can't get the full-length songs in PSound (a sound extractor for PlayStation games)! I know GT1 had sequenced music, as I hear the instruments shift to a different melody when I browse through menus.
Yeah, you can find races song (but already created by artists so full) and some Licenses music & jingles, but not the GT modes music for example, but you can find xylophone notes etc
I know that, and I found GT3 license test music in the files of GT4. I also find leftover demonstration sound files in English (NTSC) and Japanese (PAL).

The day they decided to redo the song without that tuba was the day a hundred thousand pairs of pants were saved.
Tuba? What’s the reference?
Quality of music back in days played by masters

Outstanding track, love this rearrangement. The live guitar shines a lot and the keyboard is amazing.
my freakin childhood just came back to me and i love this song for it
When you jump out of bed in the morning and are fucking ready for the adventure of a lifetime
So much better than the version in GT4. I wish all music was this cheerful.
this song is soooooo good. i wasn't able to find another song in that genre wich is sad because this is a banger!!!
Gran Turismo music is it's own genre

Well it was in GT6 so, Close enough?
@@ForsternTheProtogen Oh, was it in GT6. I don't remember hearing it
I want it in gran turismo 7
The nature of the GT series changed so much from GT5 onwards to the point where this is just a remote possibility
oh yeah baby time to split screen with my buds
I wonder why they changed the instruments for the arrangement in-game...

I think the synthesised versions fit much better in-game
These live versions are too lively
This hits different at 1.25 speed
Try 0.75
1.25 speed sounds like Lap 3/3 in a Mariokart rendition of an Arcade Mode-themed track

Can you please make the rest of the Kung Fu Panda game soundtracks?

Could you please upload the ost from Superman Returns: Fortress of Solitude GBY please?!
Yes I will see

I like this version but the orginal is better
This is the original, the in-game is a file that can't support all the instruments
