WOW! Thanks Michelle for doing this video and inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to making molds instead of having to buy those high dollar ones that I cannot afford!!! Your awesome!!!!!
I actually did this the other day, but I just use the hundred percent silicone that you use in your bathroom. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make a live edge. That’s pretty cool that you’re showing it now. Thanks for sharing!!
Wow, that’s was a great tutorial, I love how your husband helps you with the extra work at the end, my hubby wines if I ask him to sand something for me, and that seahorse is so cute. Love it
I use food containers to make my molds in, like yogurt come in, I also use them to pour my crystal candle in, like the ones Tea And Art made. so gorgeous. .
Hi. You asked about how to avoid bubbles in your crystal points. When poyring your resin, do it very slowly. Pour in one spot only. That way the overflow of that spot wil slowly go into the next hole. You can also pour just a little bit and then use a microbrush to remove the bubbles in the points. Thank you for sharing this video. I have been thinking about casting my own mold as well, but I am going to use a waxy type of material that you use to make your master. That material is reusable. You use your heatgun with a quick movement to make that master shiny.
Beautiful crystals. ❤. Congrats on the mold making goodies from Let’s Resin. Very cool molds. Glad you show the mistakes. I’m great at mastering mistakes. 🤭
Thanks for sharing your process to make these. On your crystal molds you could try spraying with alcohol before pouring the resin. I have seen other artists doing this with mold that it is hard to get bubbles out.
Hey, injustice thought I would let you know how I got all the bubbles out of that mould…. I got them at Christmas to make wreaths and I happened to remember this video and how you got a couple of bubbles in the tips… well, I sprayed 99.9% isopropyl alcohol into the mould before I poured my resin… making sure each crystal had the alcohol in the tips… after I poured the resin, I took a long tip paint brush and went through each crystal making sure I got down to the tips… they came out beautifully!!! I was scrolling through my feed and saw your video again and I just thought I would let you know how I got my crystals to come out bubble free… have a blessed day!!

I learned that if something has small areas in the mold, pour a little resin at a time, squeeze the small tips to push the air out, and after you see the bubble pop at the surface, release the mold. It will help suck the resin into the tiny spots. It takes patience but has paid off for me more than once.

Wonderful instructions! I love your work! I would also love to buy one of the molds, since I have wanted a live edge mold for a long time but cannot afford the high cost!
I have one person in line, if they decide they don’t want them I’ll let you know 👍
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 morning! Did you send off your molds to the person in front of me? If not I still would love them! Thanks
Yes I did, I’m sorry 😑
My son is 30, I just bought Lego beginning set.
Thanks for the tutorial, I have tried, and it was a major failure 😢
What happened?
All sorts of odd things can cause inhibition of curing in liquid silicone. They're finicky.
This was a long video and I fast forwarded to the end as the transcript was not helpful. Can you use Chapter Headings for each step❔
I have no idea, I’m pretty sure all that is auto generated because I don’t even add the transcript either. When I release a video it’s voice only. Again, it may be possible as I’m really new at all this and am always learning as well.
Directions tell you no fast cure in a curing machine.
I just have to say I am angry with you. You got me hooked on temu and I’m going to start sending you my bills. 😂okay? Does that sound good! Joking of course but Uhg! I thought Amazon was evil.
Hahahaha I was like what!?? Oh no my first bad comment! 😂
LOL Who needs instructions, just leave those in the box.😂
😁
Is thatca Wisconsin accent
lol no, I’m originally from Ohio but moved to Florida in 96’
You should warn ppl before it starts some ppl have trypophobia! That really creeped me out! Ugh😢
I don’t even know what that means 🫤
Cool, I guess it's pretty easy when someone sends you the stuff to make it with. I thought you were going to do a diy😢
I don’t understand?
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I thought you were going to use something around the house to make a mold. I didn't know it was with premade stuff.
@@lisavineyard348 I have multiple videos like that in my channel, I’m sorry I don’t have the video numbers off hand
😶😶😶 Sorry...really Sorry, mas.....achei tudo muito rudimentar pra todo o material carissimo que vc tem!
No problem 😉
This looks terrible its like a second grade fathersday ashtray gift.
It’s only a mold to make coasters, it’s not a piece to give away!
Nobody said you have to do it! What you should do though is just be nice or just pass over being negative and rude!🙄🙄
And it's Father's Day, not fathersday! 😂😂
