This was awesome!!!! Ms. portia, I am terrible at shimmering both bent knee ans straight leg. Do you have any tips on how to get better. I can't go more than a few seconds and I start getting really goofy.
Yes!!! practice on the floor!!!! Sit down on the floor. Straighten your legs. Gently pump your knees back and forth in a consistent manner to build endurance in the brain and muscles !

How much calories does this class burn?
300 to 500 an hour depending on complexity, impact & traveling plus the amount of effort put in!
What if my muscles of legs and buttocks are shaking more then my hips move. It sounds funny, but this is true truth. How to avoid it, if it is possible. Maybe my body is not designed for belly dance? And thank you for your lessons. They are great!
