I did labouring for a bit and I can confidently say that this is the most accurate shit I’ve seen
🎣🎣
Same ere n agreed
Even the bit about baking cakes?
Weak piece of shit
@@pygiana16 Yep. The lads will buy a cake each from Marks and Spencers and put it in a tuppa wear, you bring in shit and have to buy the drinks as a forfeit.
This was my worst fear as a teenager of what work would be like
Alexander Mulholland and it is
@Chet Copper aye?
@Chet Copper where did all that come from, I mean I agree with some points but it seems very specific
@Chet Copper you angry la?
You serious?
“You don’t need a hard hat, you need a hard heart”
Agreed hun x x x
What’s your snap Miss 🥺
Or add mine @realist-leon7
Youd know that... with alll your time on site...

"Just like that...next load!" 😂😂😂😂
He proper reminds me of gareth from the office
Andy Morris he kinda reminds me of that guy from pirates of the carribean😀
It’s Gareth before he joins the army and then Wernham Hogg
Eddie Caplan which is Gareth from the office
:'D cos they are both the same actor (mackenzie crook)
hahaha I mean the Gareth in the office and the guy from pirates of the caribbean are both Mackenzie Crook. I know Kurtan is a different actor he's like half his age !!
Kurtan with that wheelbarrow is genuinely one of the funniest things I've seen on telly. Pissed mi sen.
I've always wondered if that bit was scripted or not.
@@nancybatch7007 incredible writing if it was, this and the train station episodes are amazing.
I've always wondered what was the proper way of doing that? Standing to the side of the plank?
“A hard hat will protect you from a falling brick. But it will not protect you from banter. You need a hard heart” wise words
@@hiruakalanka2545Thanks for proving to us all that you don't know many women 😂
"You don't need a hard hat, you need a hard heart!" That line's too funny! 🤣🤣🤣
Cake Tuesday, “where you bring in a cake you have baked for us all to share”.
I love how Kurtan loves his nan.
We never get to see his mum or dad
RIP Slugs, what a great actor and great bloke he was. He will be missed.
Yes it's sad that he died years before his time but where do you get he was a 'great actor' from? Even he would've said he was a long way from that had he still been alive
Stephen McGuire Did you know Michael then? By no means am I calling him Tom Hanks but simply paying respect to his role in playing Slugs. My favourite character in this series and think he played the part brilliantly.
@@rhys4998 i wouldnt say i knew him but we spoke a few times online. A cracking lad I'm not disputing that but of course he played the part brilliantly because like he said more than once the character Slugs was written especially for him so all he had to do was make the character an annoying version of himself. Based on conversations I've had with him i really think he'd have found it hilarious to hear his name mentioned in a sentence with the words 'great actor' included in it. Im not slating the lad but 'great actor' is stretching it a bit
Gamer Nerd so are you telling me, I can’t have an opinion on someone and their acting ability because I don’t know them? Bore off mate
"Here, slap that drink out of that woman's hand"
Probably the best comedy since the Office came out! Brilliant stuff :-)
CD W 👋👋👋👋👋👋👍🙏🏽❤️
Just going to completely ignore the inbetweeners and peep show then?
Definitely.
People just do nothing ?
@@samexelby8715People Just Do Nothing really drops off in the last season but it was very good for 4 seasons.
In years to come “this country” will be the new Faulty Towers,,just BRILLIANT,! 😂😂😂👏👏👏
I like how they call him Kirsty instead of Kurtan lol
We had a labourer that declared himself the don of dowling (gave him a job plug cutting) after that he was known as Donna.
"Sort it out Kirsty!" 😂😂😂😂
They are geniuses - they also do a great job of making you feel like that isn't either Kurtan's father in real life, and that he really doesn't care about Kerry.
The wheelbarrow sceen is one of the best bits of clowning ever.
Just a quick question Kirsty... are you going to do it like that every time?
I shouldn’t think so no... okay...
Hahaha 😭😭😭
Blair101 he actually called him kirsty 😂😂😂😂😂
He said Kirsty
Ahaha cheers lads, fixed it
And exactly why I would never have my son following me into the building industry.
Those early years I spend as a young carpenter out on site still haunt me.
The violent behaviour of some and the absolute disregard for you by the big companies.
I now run a small craft base business here in NZ and treat the young guys with respect and look after them.
One of the reasons we are the best company doing what we do in Auckland.
The industry needs to stop all this macho bullshit if it wants to attract real talent.
Is your son’s name Luke?
@@DubbleBluff 💀
👍🏻 Nice to know not all the men in those kinds of jobs are sad, insecure little freaks who need to knock others down to boost their own ego. Hope your business continues to prosper.
"the circus is in town and they're always looking for clowns"
"He used to play darts with his dad and basically sees Luke like a son"
This scene is full of genius one liners. So hilarious 😂😂😂
I've only just noticed she said he's gonna drown like a pig in the sea :-D 😂😂😂😂
One of my fave lines in this video - so subtle
The young lad looks like Dr. Christian from embarrassing bodies
yeahhh
Until I see Kurtain and Gareth Keenan in the same room I'll never be convinced
Absolutely doubled over with laughter....... i will never look at skips the same way again!
Need another series of This Country in my life!
didn't think it was possible but I'm actually enjoying series 2 more than series 1
A hard hat might protect you from a fallen brick but it WILL NOT protect you from banter 😂
The “are you gonna do it like that every time” at the end is what does it for me 🤣🤣🤣
Completely under appreciated show
You wanna adjust the board and walk side on, side face to the plank 😂 Experience! 😂🙏🏻
Best show on to right now ! Love Kerry and kurtan
This is my favourite episode.
Brilliant Programme
Circus is in town, and their always looking for clowns
hahaha when he pushed the wheel barrow up with scaff plank lol
Such a good show
Worked on sites for 10 years, this is 100% accurate. Genius physical comedy, proper Keaton, Lloyd, Chaplin.
I think that this is BETTER than The Office tbh!
This is literally me everytime I start a new job...nerves
lol same
we all began somewhere like him 😁
I'm sure he brings a cake in from his local shop aswell 😂😂😂
“Just like that.. right next load!” FFDSSSSS
This is brilliant .
Love these two
I wish I should could see Vitty's reaction to that cake thing that was mentioned lol.
Site work in the uk is savage and great fun I did it for 3 years
Hahahaha when he was losing the skip
Can’t Move Hilarious 😂 Great Acting 🎭 And Writing ✍️ 🎉
good performance dudes!
The funny thing is iv worked along size lads like that no idea took me back to some real funny days
I mean, I often wonder how you're actually meant to empty the wheelbarrow into the skip but that scene makes me wonder if it was even scripted 😂😂
Roll on season 3 and there new book I’ve pre ordered the signed edition can’t wait
Love this show
Couldn’t be more true about Luke Norris 😂
Fml when he falls😭😭😂
His head is trapped under the handle lol
That was so fkn funny, I'm crying
Just like that ! So funny.
Can someone tell me if I can view this on any streaming service in the US. It says Prime and RUclips but I looked and cannot find full series. My only option is DVD
I love this show it's so clever & funny
As a builder, it's safe to say Kurtan is no Fred West
No Fred West,Kurtan ain't Much of anything,but he trys.And he's not a weirdo,maybe not.⚽️
That old fellas kurts dad in real life believe it or not 😂
Genius
You guys have just made me cancel my abb session at the gym, because you have split my sides more than 2 million sutup👋👋👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍👍👍😂😂😂😂😂🙏🏽❤️
Amazing😂😂😂😂
Are you going to do it like that every time?
I, er, I shouldn't think so, no.
The scene with the wheelbarrow is probably one of the funniest bits ever.
Reminds me of our apprentice 😂😂
Kur tan with the wheel barrow to funny
That's me on my first day at work! 😅😂
Some of the sites I’ve been on are literally just like this lol
Cake Tuesday's hahahah. Funny
I love it
What episode was this????
'All the gear, no idea'
The struggle lol
How can they exclude the smashing mug scene?
Luv it
This looks like my first day on a construction site in Sydney
Where you from mate
The wheel barrow in the skip...yep been there
'You don't need a hard hat you need a hard heart'
Kinda true tho 😅🤣
That's is bang on how it is
Is it back?!!! Love this show
Bob Ben yes!
Search for this after fb posting😂
I didnt know gareth had his own tv show
Hilarious!
There are literally small firms like that, where the jobsworth is so far up the bosses arse, they go on like that...
tough old game
Cracks me up.
Hilarious 😂
2:40 he fucked up 🤣
I did labouring for about a year. We used standard 13 litre buckets and everything was carried on the shoulder.
That’s nice
Prouda you Jimmy
As if Martin's his real life dad 😂
rhys evans and Len is their uncle, Martins brother
@@edwinhesketh9720 I know!!! It's ace!!! Even though Len stinks
rhys evans it makes the scenes with them in even better when you know that 😂
@@edwinhesketh9720 I wouldn't of found him if it wasn't for the fly's buzzin around his stink 🤣
The new series isn't disappointing
Accurate
Would like too see more of this part 2 or something lol
Jijo Drumbeats full episodes on BBC iPlayer m8
"Pint to pint with martin mucklowe"
just LOVE IT watched very episode 1000 times NO exaggeration, but I'm not a stalker.
Or were you stalked on?
Who would you be stalking? BBC 3.
Me too lol
The skip scene was genius.pissed myself.
He got off easy.
Make a martin mucklowe best bits please!!!!
Exactly how it was mid 80s,hence why I never became a builder Rambo was the nickname for anyone labouring on site,I was always getting in fights with the trades so called men😂
All the gear no idea
Kursty 🤣🤣🤣
