Still one of the best sounding road cars ever produced, especially with full exhaust. The 03/04 Cobra and C6 platforms are what drew me to this channel and why it never fails to impress. Cheers to you, Chris.
I told you a couple of days ago I just found your channel. Started watching the yellow cobra and banged watched them all. Great videos and I wish would have found them earlier. Now I have to watch the corvette videos.
Terminator Cobra is THEE Hot Rod of the new millennium. A compact, wide, low C5 Z06 destroyer in performace and I gotta say, looks too. This is coming from a guy who owned a C6Z in Lemans Blue so it’s not a FORD/CHEVY thing. Besides, you can tell who has grown up with their attitude towards. FORD/CHEVY. Both manufacturers make awesome performance cars. Both are American. Both kick ass This Pit Bull of a car will forever go down as one of the most iconic combustion engines cars that completely took the world by storm when released and still rip tosay
Pete at performance dyno is the man. Walked me through a lot over the phone and taught me things about my build I wasn’t aware of. Definitely a dope shop
Chris you are an absolute unit. I just love every time I see a new video of your's pop up on the feed. Your videos are informative, well edited, and just generally enjoyable to watch. Keep up the good work sir.
This channel should be massive. Dude, builds stout stuff. For reference, just got off the dyno with my 6000 mile 2020 GT from Palm Beach Dyno. Made 768HP/546TQ on 20 inch wheels with Drag Radials (you know this robs at least 25) at 7850rpm on 12 pounds / Procharger with largest pulley and 10-speed. Your car makes sick torque and with the weight advantage over the new Mustangs, this is fantastic power. With my SN95 a full Steeda suspension was the best thing I did other than the Vortech S-Trim. Springs, K-Member, front / rear control arms, Caster / Camber plates, Koni 5-way adjustables and the biggest mod for these cars.....subframe connectors.
Nice video. Great content as usual. Not a big Ford fan but this 04 Cobra brought me a little closer to appreciating what Ford did back in the day with this power plant. Very impressive to say the least. Those SC 03 and 04 Cobras were special back in their day and highly desirable today. I bet they gave the C5 Z06 a hard time !
If I'm not mistaken, I think the numbers between the 2 were pretty damn close as far as 0-60 and the 1/4. Never driven a cobra, but I'd imagine depending on the kinda driving, the vette handles really well in twisty back roads
@@kennymilton7457 They are pretty close Z06 won't get heatsoaked on a road course like the Cobra would. I would much rather have the Cobra for everyday fun car to enjoy
@bruceinglis4300 I'm sure the cobra would definitely be more comfortable day to day. I just prefer the simplicity of the LS platform. My 97 cobra was a pain to fix sometimes. But my camaro(1999), everything seemed to take like 20 minutes to fix. And easy to get to
Pete is the best he does amazing work on these cars. I've take my 94 cobra, Supercharged 95 GT to him ( years ago ) and I had my 04 Cobra taken to him both with the same mod set up as the Cobra in this video and after when I had the VMP Gen3R. Always top notch tuning.
In my opinion there is no better sounding v8 or car period for that matter than the ford 4.6. This is my dream car. I miss my 96gt. It was slow but man did it sound good and was fun to drive!
Just awesome bud, always love that 4V mustang sound, never gets old, add the screaming Eaton blower noise; doesn't get any better. Can't wait for more!
Great numbers on the Dyno ! I had a ported and polished Eaton blower , pullies , borla cat back and x-pipe with bigger fuel injectors because I was running lean and they couldn’t tune in anymore fuel so went with bigger injectors and cold air intake and only got 502 rwh and 540ish torque on my Zinc yellow 03 cobra aka Nick name “03 Yellow venom” 👍🏻👊🏻 Miss that car but it’s like reliving my good times watching your happiness with yours. My best 1/4 miles was a low 11.8 on street stickies and soft launches so my 60 foot can’t remember but weak so I wouldn’t snap any half shafts . I think I did put a brace on the rear axle cover and that’s it . But wow man love your Vlogs enjoy them so much and your 04 Cobra is beautiful. You got a nice strong healthy one congrats !👍🏻👊🏻 Nothing like the whine of that Eaton blower!!
Chris impressive results!!! Really enjoy your work and videos!!! The Banana, as you call it, looks great and sounds great. The sound of the eaton SC is addictive matched to the deep throaty Borla exhaust. Thanks for sharing Brother!!! Having 500+ torque & horse power to the rear is perfect daily driver!!!💪🇺🇸✝️
There was a mustang club member that lived very close by me back in the early/mid 2000's and that Borla sound sure does bring back memories of all the cars showing up at that club members house and them all leaving to go on a cruise. That sound is pure heaven to me. Great series on the Mustang. Enjoy all your content!
Love the power its making and the stance as well. Love the Corvette Z06 content and how it turned the most, but the banana is awesome. I love the Fox body but this real looks good.
Great job Chris ! You are a talented young man and I enjoy your videos! Being a C6 owner myself and having modified it, I can appreciate all the work you do on your "fleet"... keep it up!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 NOW this is what we like you to be doing keep yourself active on RUclips by uploading videos that’s what we want/Like to see from you even tho 5 days is way too much but compared to a month hey bud I’ll take the 5 day all day long 😂…21:56 hopefully ain’t a month from now 🤦🏻♂️. BTW, I know how the weather is here in New England tell me about it I’m from Fenway Red Sox’s ball park…nice vid 👍🏼 keep it coming.
Well done, sir. I miss mine a little, had an 03. Loved the engine, supercharger and the 6 speed. Best of all the sound! Didn't like how nose heavy it was and the driving position, the shifter was way too far forward. That thing is a pig on fuel, back then didn't matter. Fuel was dirt cheap.
Man this is too cool, I think this might be my dream car. Also want to talk about the minimalist style of these videos, almost like John Wick 1 where he’s just messing around with his boss, almost like a sense of serenity just you and your car, I wanna be like you my guy haha .
Thats one of 299 screaming yellow '04 Cobras. My 03 was a Mineral Gray exterior color. And that horsepower achieved is from 281 cubic inches. Impressive, especially for that anemic heat soaked Eaton.
I can’t wait to see the paint correction and final show and tell for this one. It’s been pretty easy with all your knowledge Chris knowledge and history it seems on this platform! Did the Red C6 Z06 sell? I didn’t see it anywhere in this video.
Sheeeeesh! I was expecting 460-475. Not gonna lie I feel like either you have a factory freak or that's a happy dyno idk. Could be wrong, but 500/530 on pump 93 seems high for just a pulley and axle back with cats
More than likely it has a ported blower that is about what ported blowers make on 93. These cars pick up alot with porting there are alot of gains to be had porting those. Lots of blowers pick up being ported but the cobra blowers even more so.
I love Pete. Have known him since he first opened PD before the location it's in now. Awesome guy. Cobra looks and sounds killer. Drive by your road all the time hoping to see one of your cars. You know the guy who has a retromod Suburban?
That thing has got to have a ported Eaton, or that dyno just reads high. My ported Eaton, with E85 made 540, on 93 it did 510. A 2.8 and exhaust isn’t gonna make 500, in any world no matter who tunes it. Is the blower ported? It whines hard like mine it sure seems like it.
Congrats and great numbers. Sounds like that blower might be an early Steg Port with those numbers and especially the torque/sound. 2.76 upper guys were usually in the 475/480 range with similar torque back in the day.
Awesome sounding car. I am getting ready to hit the dyno next Monday with mine. What power mods are on this car, those are impressive numbers for a stock supercharger!!
Funny story so I'm riding down the highway and a similar model year f350 with a lift is pulling... A 68 camaro down the highway. I thought to myself Chris this you lol
Man I just found your channel? I’m a huge mustang fan have had 27 of the myself. I don’t see how you deal with the rain all the time. It’s nothing like Down here in KY.
I see Chris' yellow terminator, I click. that simple.
I imagine Chris listens to nothing but smooth jazz while cruising around town.
Kenny G 😂
He’s a smooth operator lol
Man just love the sound of these cobras! Very impressive numbers too! Almost 500hp! Supercharger whine never gets old.

Nostalgic as hell!
Pete’s the man! Trailered my cobra to him from central New York. He got me 503/507
She sounds incredible!! Great video Chris, looking forward to more !!

Great job on the build!
I freaking love this channel. Thanks Chris! I just don’t have the words to elaborate on how much I appreciate what you do.

#YellowGang... Either way appreciate the time taken to film this series. I can appreciate you as a person. ☺
Best exhaust note out of any car
Just love everything about that car!👍🍻
So nice. Just enough and that whine.
Awesome job putting it back together man! Sounds great and nice clean car!

That Whine is music to my ears. The prelude to a symphony of Violence.
The Squat on every gear shift 😮😮
