I am amazed how you can take apart the whole engine and put it back together. Big respect and good luck on that evo.💖🔥💣
You know why I like watching you? You actually know what your doing and don’t rely on other people to do your work for you. Keep up the good shit mayne
I know it's crazy how he knows where all the parts go KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
No worries man. There’s nothing Devin cant fix!
Devin, you made the whole tearing apart process looked easy. This is the reason why I subscribe to your channel, because watching your videos really educate me and give me a little bit confidence to work on my Evo by myself. Great job man, and good luck with your progress!
Don't worry, the best cars have problems but once fixed there is nothing to stop it. I enjoy your videos and more the building of the Evo and I see it from México 🇲🇽
Do a complete engine assembly step by step and post it on here. Great work btw.
The fact that you can take apart a whole engine and put it back together, AND it’ll still work.
Love the channel buddy! I'm stoked seeing a channel that's so close. I'm in Cda and met you 4 or 5 years ago at Autozone when you Had the Silver Bug Eye which was also a sick build btw!
Duuuuuude I love taking stuff apart videos.........then it's amazing how you remember where everything goes.... respect
You should try upgrading your clutch since you got it apart and resurface your flywheel.
You have a talent my man and this is why I love watching your content all the time, never gets boring.
You’re ONE BRAVE Dude to take on stripping an engine apart all on your own😱😎. I could Definitely not do that. Mad Props to you Devin👍🏻👍🏻.
Messed up it happened but use it as a opportunity to upgrade some things...darton sleeves, 9.5 comp pistons, new clutch, etc...gl bro 650hp /500 trq + evo coming soon
It’s amazing how you can take the whole engine out and apart and put it back together. Wow. Just wow! Amazed!
Got for it full built evo and frs and you’re baby’s they need the love
Really love your content bro! much respect for the things you do brotha, you truly inspire me with my build! Keep up the awesome content!
Evo in motion by devin..great inspiration by an evo owner and owner myself..great work man alot of loyalty in this channel..hope to see new build evo 800hp?!!
Nice Job I enjoy your videos a lot. When you torn apart a engine it looks so easy, keep up the good work.
I'm amazed by what you can do. Not so many people can do what you do. Good video
2.4l sleeved, might as well do cams, vavles, valve springs while its apart. Gsc s2 cams is what most people run. Me included. 800whp coming soon.
Since you have it apart, obviously I'm sure you'll replace piston 3, but why not put some good aftermarket sleeves in the block, and do some head upgrades!
You are just awesome! The true lover of the EVO. Keep it up, please as we need people like you, as Mitsu will no longer produce this crazy awesome cars.
Man this guy gets much respect he definitely gets into it all keep up the great videos bro..I already know the evo coming back stronger
The way u build all of your rides by yourself, simply Awesome bro.....
Keep up with the Good contents!!
This video made me sad, but I love watching you fixing the engine by your own.
Always good content from you.Very good job for a one man crew!Keep it up!
Love the content Devin ! I own a evo 8 and actually wanted to rebuild my motor as well but wasn’t sure if I should rebuild it myself or have it rebuilt for me. This video actually made me realize that pulling the motor isn’t too bad even though this is an evo X. Anyways keep up the grind dude!
Keep it dude! Great job. Nice to see someone working in there own car.
Really respect your hustle my youth, worse of all doing this by yourself
Dude. I'm impressed as shit. However, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I did once build my own dresser from Ikea and only looked at the instructions 3 times. Haha good luck with the rebuild Devin.
Devin you are amazing, the car is the best in the history . You can !!
Its damn impressive to see you do this solo in your garage.
Hey man thanks for the video I’m gone to do that on mine the transmission blew yesterday so now I’m going to build it
id like to see you take the block to a machine shop, clean it up. THEN send it off to golden eagle to have it sleeved, i hear wonderful stuff about golden eagle and they have a legit LIFE TIME warranty on there sleeves no sinking an no cracking, its honestly what im hoping to do with my evo x, checkem out :) wld make one hell of an evo to :)
All the best man sorry it blew
What I would like to see is a full rebuild.. maybe sleeves ? And while it’s at the machine shop work on the evo 8
Mad respect! I wish I had the confidence to pull put my motor
You can fix everything man
Devin how do you learn to wrench on cars? I feel like you know everything. I’ve learned soo much from watching you it’s crazy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. You are my favorite you tuber of all time.
Damn man that crazy hope you get it figured out man !
Full send homie!
probably a good ides to replace the clutch (to maybe fix shifting issue) whle the motor is out
this guy took apart a entire motor no
way
Man good work, long time subscriber first time poster.
Some recommendation.
Film more :) we actually love watching the video. Just film more and let us watch ahah
Bro great work
at minute 6:53 when that oil pan lip starts bending, i cried a little inside...
4:26 That hitchhiker thumb tho...
Evo was one dope good looking moded car..... I really love the half military look😍😍 btw it was my best car in your motor cade❤️💯
Great content. You should definitely sleeve the block to make it bullet proof.
Hey Devin I have been watching your videos ah while now. You have done some great builds keep up the good job.
I think u should do sleeves
U got this 💪🏻
Hey man, I really hope everything goes well with your Evo! It sucks when you have such an annoying issue that you must completely tear your engine apart to fix it. But hey, that sometimes come with the experience of owning such awesome pieces of machinery. On a side note, I would like to know the type of Dewalt power tools you use when working on your engine. I too work on my vehicle myself, Infinite G37 coupe. The tools you are using makes working on your car seem less stressful. I don't necessarily need Dewalt, but any suggestions or recommendations on power tools for auto maintenance?
Time to sleeve it bro 💪🏼
😓😓she'll be back and she'll be better
You should get an iron block from an evo 9 if you decide to get rid of the aluminum block, either way it will be good! :)
Bro you are very gifted on cars👍
That's a bummer man, sub'd to see the remedy. Also, where do the 4 long bolts on the bell housing go? 2 dowels and 2 on starter?
Sorry to see this man
Look how they massacred my boy 😢
You the best!!
Finally a RUclips who can do their own work!!!
I watch you work on your car and I'm like 'Maybe I too should start working on my own evo'...
Now I just need to buy myself one😅
R.I.P evo gone but not forgotten
NOT THE EVO X :(
damn the e10 gnna get turned up even more! can't have the black e8 overshadow this one 😁
Varis widebody
5 dislikes really ffs, I guess them punks don't appreciate this video devin has made, come on he shows yall how to do shit fs use ya eyes. Dude good vid man dropped that like 👍🏼
You should supercharged it but KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Please dont give up of the evo.... install a 2.4 block !!!!
Awwww. Feels so sorry braah
I screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" when i saw the thumbnail cuz i though you totalled it. My mom was like. "what!?".
This video was some serious ASMR satisfaction lol
Which is easier to work on for you? The Evo X or the 8? And which one was cheaper to make power on?
Second rebuild in one year, race car life.
Longer videos plxx :'(
Dude props on pulling the whole car apart! Where do you put the 100 bolts you just removed? Bagging them up? Lol
good job bro, I support u
Mamiz from Ukraine
Let's put a 4G63T in an Evo 10
bro what impact are you using. that makes shit a lot faster and it seemed like the battery held up just fine. how much did you get it for?
Yay more entertainment
Broken cars is more content. 😉
Damn bro just sleeve it!
You should fit a 4G in it 😱
I LOVE YOUR🔥(STI)🔥SWEATER!!!!! 👍
Next episode: Forged EJ207 Swap into the Evo
rrrrr wiiiiiiii nice sound ;-)
Thts alot of work, how do you keep all the parts together an bolts without losing anything
Do you have a custom oil pan drain bolt? I see it looks different than stock. Is that maybe an oil temp sensor?
Adrian Bernat its a fumoto drain valve. Makes oil changes easy.
Omg what have you done.
Hey Devin.
0:01 doing good how are you
aww
Cool
I spun a rod 😭 should I get a rebuilt from map or new motor?
How long did it take you to take out everything
Where did you buy those headlights from?
the sti engine is more easy to take off than the evo engine ?
Thumbnail scared me
Wish I had the income to do something like this 😩
Can I get some help. I have 4 4 ohm 100 rms per speaker 6.5 co axial kicker speaker that peak at 300 watts. With a 4 ohm 10” kicker subwoofer with a passive radiator preloaded enclosure that has a rms of 400 watts and peaks at 800 watts. Can anyone suggest the best amp so they both perform well together I’m more into sound quality than bass. I am also using a aftermarket pioneer radio. Thanks a ton for your time
