You can use this for windshield rubber. 3M Perforated Trim Masking Tape 06349, Molding Paint Protection, Trim Lifting Tape
Devin I highly recommend getting a M12 Milwaukee impact. I love that thing it does a great job on removing small stuff like this and it fits in places better.

There's Trim Masking Tape that goes under trim and molding that pulls it back to allow you to paint under it so you don't have to remove windows and such.

As you both love the car it's worth doing it right. Of course to the trunk while you are at it. No brainer. I'd do the inner side of the trunklid too. That's not going too far, that's holding up to your standards. Especially with that nice of a paint color that's totally worth the extra work. Piston needs to drive in style ya feel :D

i think while at it the interior deserves a bit more luxury/ or better word better option trim's blackout pillars, suade leather combo/or all leathers
I taped the seal back on my car when I painted it, it took some time but it worked perfect with some good sticky tape

3m lift masking tape. It’s got a plastic edge to move the molding back.

I think the time has come to upgrade the car you are working on. I suggest a rough 964 or 993 which you can rip apart completely and build up to your todays standards.

17:32 ouch….. it hurts to see you dry scuff those panels, I know you are gonna be spraying base coat and reclearing but on a dark metallic paint job that scares me. I hope it turns out great because that is a beautiful color on a beautiful car, after this it should definitely stay in the home garage and kick out the ole Supra.
