I actually ran my microphone into the little vent thing beside the ignition key hole, the only thing wrong is people tell me they can hear the door chime and turn signal in the call but other than that it's great! And nobody can see it at all! That's what I did? I think it looks great! I DMed you about what brand it was and you replied.

I had the 10.2 with the 7.1 or whatever, and had nothing but issues with it from the get go. I want to upgrade my radio but all I ever see is people running these. It looks nice wish I had a better experience with mine

With the boost on the new radio , you will only see max of 2.55bar 21-22psi, as this is the diagnosis limit,

You mentioned the Bluetooth play having poor sound quality. I had the same issue , so I downloaded RUclips music app, and amazon music app to the radio and it sounds perfectly clear.

Stick with your actual gauge for boost. The app doesn't refresh fast enough to keep up with your fast ass Evo. I do recommend throttle position and engine load on the torque app.
You should get Bolstered carbon fiber steering wheel.

I have the 6.0 one and the bluetooth gets choppy sometimes and sound not as clear. Is the bluetooth on the 8.0 one plays better? That torque app does wish i haven't put gauges on my steering column though.
So given the option which do you prefer? I have a 2010 gsr with Rockford and am looking to upgrade to a unit with a nice screen.
I don't have the bluetooth option on my Evo X..ye it suck.. will I run into any trouble installing this radio without it?

Right now I'm in a Ralliart with the base sound system but might trade for an Evo in two years or so when insurance goes down, do you think I could get the fosgate version of the radio now and still plug in to the base radio? Just in case I end up in an Evo that does have the fosgate system I can just swap over? Thanks!

Does it still work with steering wheel radio controls? I'm like you and I also like analog control over volume but I really like the flush look of the 10.2 so if I can still do volume on my steering wheel I'll go with that one. If you know let me know! Thanks!
Trevor Plagg the previous versions you could program steering wheel controls so hopefully the updated ones kept that feature.
7.1 has steering wheel controls. Not sure about 8.0 but I wouldn't see why not.

There is a link in there that will let you download the torque pro app for free, it also comes on the GPS SD card (at least on the 6.0 one I got it did)
