Very well said sir! I know it is not from the era you are talking about, but my dad had a 1977 Dodge Ram with a slant 6 engine in it. No computers, no carpet, bench seat, standard AM / FM radio, air conditioning / heater had the slides for temp control, roll up windows. Nothing fancy but it was easy to work on and it was especially fun to work on it with him. My dad and I miss those days and I miss that truck. Nice job detailing as always.
Yes and yes! I was more inclined to work on cars that just needed a cap rotor plug wires and plugs! Now it’s not that easy especially on the ones you have to have programmed
It seriously breaks my heart to see such a gem like this abandoned. You are doing excellent work and it really warms my heart to see this car get the care it deserves
Currently I have a regular Lancer and I love it. I'm dying for an MR. Who just abandons these things?! I have yet to own a car with cameras and all the fixins, I think it would fit me perfectly ❤️
Like how you removed the roof strips and cleaned under them. First time I've seen those removed in a detailing video. Excellent work. I'm from Cleveland so not too far away.
It’s too bad it’s going to a dealership to me priced way too high, and sit just as long as it did abandoned. I wish someone could really appreciate this gem!
I Lived in Japan in the late 90s early 00s. Have owned a few of the classic JDM cars. I would LOVE to get a classic 180sx Type X again. Still my favorite platform.
I'm same like u, 90s car is d best, d smell, the sound, the vibration, the traction, the respond, all..... Is just human and machine. No extra nonsense electronic.
Evo IX was the pinnacle of evos as far as I’m concerned. I had the 03 VIII in yellow w the mini wing and an 06 IX in grey. And back then we used to lust over the 6.5 TM edition. 🥰
I wish I knew someone around my area that wants my abandoned 08 evo x mr it’s sitting in my driveway dead bad struts, coils, fluids oil cooler etc. has 150k miles i did order all the fluids and a new radiator, battery but i dont think i even want to try to restore it anymore lol seeing this gives me some hope
Another amazing transformation as always. 2 quick questions. 1, I have a MJJC foam cannon and I notice you use the Mtm foam cannon. Is the Mtm foam cannon better in your opinion? Also, when you remove seats to clean the interior, you disconnet the battery terminals first before removing the seats right?
I own a 98 BMW 528i that is all mechanical, no back up camera no led lighting no touch screen or GPS, it's not a performance model but at 26 years old it still easily cruises the highway at 90 its stable no wind noise at idle there's no shake it handles well its just a well made car, I love this era of cars.
Not really into this era of vehicles, and if I had to choose one, I'd say a GR86/BRZ. My main favorites are 70's/80's/90's vehicle, for how simple and easy to DIY they are for the average person. I also like the Retro design of them, I like the Supra Line from Celica-Supra to the Mk3, the 2000GT, AE86, 92 Levin, AE111. I currently own a 96 Avalon and love the thing
Man these videos never get old friend! Thanks for the channel, love the content! I own an 06 EVO IX, nice comments mentioned about the EVO era as well! Lol stay safe homie 🙏🏼
I have a 6th Generation, 1995 Toyota Celica GT. I love that it's a manual 5 speed with a moon roof. I needs a little love right now, so I'm going to do a transformation on it and I'm gonna post videos of the work I'm doing on it. ❤
As a owner of both a 2008 Lancer ES 5-Speed and a 2010 Evo GSR, I can confirm that I like that I just have to worry about (although small or what I did) mechanical problems and nothing electronic
Good car but time spare nothing even masterpiece.Despite of it i think that future owner will have a lot of fun with it.And as usually thank you for 30 minutes of gypnotic cleaning action.Thumb up!!!
I miss my 94 prelude SI. Non vtec H23, Had lots of torque and handled very well even with the cut springs that were on it. Not quite in the same class as an Evo but thats my "Drivers car" that I miss the most.
I tried Duraslic's new FlowX ceramic spray coating / Topper last week. The stuff isn't cheap at $99 a bottle but it is legit. The contact angle is ridiculous. Can't say how good it is on an uncoated car but as a Topper on a coated vehicle, This stuff is the real deal.
I love these cars too brotha I have an evo 10 and evo 8 they are both amazing!. Raw but great. I bought a rs3 and it's awesome but yes honestly love the simplicity of the evos
3rd Gen Mistusbhi Lancer Evo u did amazing job detail that car Stauffer Garage 14:37 There's tea interior liquid for u woow can't believe this car doesn't power windows .
I have a mk6 golf r and I think mid 2000 was the best years for cars just enough tech to be great for daily driving but not overdoing and very fun to drive, I have Bluetooth I have ac etc and that’s literally all anyone should need nowadays you have to click 5 different menus on a touch screen to get to your climate menu and pay 5.99 a month to get massage seats
I really thought it was a stick shift for minute there, the shift boot had me fooled. I really miss my 90' Accord 5spd, it really wasn't high performance but drove really well and is probably my favorite body style of the accord
A 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo with 300 hp and all wheel steering. The 5 speed t-top wearing beauty was absolutely beautiful. Black with black leather or white with burgundy. Sexy.
Man that came out really nice! Awesome job sir. Hey the bio break your talking about can you use that on seats as well or just carpets? Rite now I’m using carpet bomber fr P&S
I've used bio break on cloth seats, it works well. Needs a few minutes to soak in for the best results but it's great. It's got a moderately high ph of about 10, has enzymes to break down organic matter, and has citrus oil as a solvent. So basically it works on any dirt.
Fun enough I drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback with a 1,8l MIVEC with a Rockford Fosgate sound system. Though I upgraded my head unit to a screen one without android. its a simple kenwood right now but a zenec will be next. (Still gonna keep the original one without any fancy stuff on it)

Someone could abandon one of those at my place.
The previous owner finished college, left the country with it covered and then sold it after letting it sit for 2 years... wtf how do you do that?
@@StaufferGarage must have more money than i have.
I just placed an order for the leather cleaner and the all purpose cleaner. Good but buy didn’t see the free pet brush in my order.
Por favor
The Evo X and other cars around its era are the perfect balance between modern styling and classic simplicity
Facts 😅
So nobody gonna talk about the whippits under the carpet???😮
Saw them and went straight to the comments 💀😂
same man wtf lol
Sammmeeeee! No comments at all lol
Whats a whippit?
Lmao I did the same
Love this car. Definitely brings back the "old days". Sometimes the cars from this era have better quality components to them than vehicles now.

It is for sale 😈
Fire video 🔥
I have an Evo 9 and a Tesla, and I can tell you that the smile I have when I drive the evo cannot be matched
Like how you removed the roof strips and cleaned under them. First time I've seen those removed in a detailing video. Excellent work. I'm from Cleveland so not too far away.
Thanks! Not far at all!

Beautiful car, sad to see it get abandoned. BioBreak is the hidden gem for detailing! Great video as always!.
Mad how someone just left this beautiful machine 🤯 , evo was my faves 👌😎
They should have left it at my place, I would have looked after it 🥳😉
Exactly! Any place besides covered up
Nissan GTR 34. One of the best cars out there. Forsure. Big up from South Africa.
I daily an 08 MR and I absolutely agree with you. It was my dream that I was able to make a reality! Great videos man
Nice work! I like what that coating did to the vinyl wrap. I'll have to try that sometime!
Someone was huffing….all those cartridges… crack crack crack! Sweet evo and amazing detail work.
A 1996 Chevy impala wit upgraded suspension. It’s so simple but it’s everything! Also a 1993 mustang 🤤
As an owner of a 2007 Honda Civic FN2 Type-R GT, I can safely say I also love this era of cars too!
Amen to that! Maybe we are just getting old lol
@@StaufferGarage Long live old Jap cars and their reliable simplicity!
Banged it out, my man. 😎👊🏻🔨
And yes, I miss the simplicity of cars.

JDM fanboi here and I love the GC8 Subarus. So much so that I have two 2.5RS Imprezas!

Morning, my man. Let’s get it going.
Morning Joe!!!
I can relate, I've ownedX MR since 2010.

My buddy growing up had a Toyota MR2 and it was so simple to work on and he managed to put to 8” subwoofers behind the seats
I actually picked up a 2008 Evo X GSR a few months back with kind of the same backstory. Hoping to restore it like you did this one.
Awesome! Hope the price was good too
amazing always interesting thanks for your time and effort i love this channel
Thank you very much!
My current car is simple but tons of fun... 2009 Civic Si. I daily it and rip it around the mountain roads in my area.
I like your videos. Are always exciting. I'm excited to see what's next. 😃

Nissan 300ZX and Toyota Supra used to be my favs from this era (possibly a little earlier)
Beautiful car, sad to see it get abandoned
Awesome video, and I just received what a bought from your store!! Amazing products and thank you for the pet hair removal tool !!!!
Glad they arrived fast! Enjoy and thanks for the support!
model from then that feels the same to me as the Evos is the 2008 RS4. AWD V8. nothing fancy inside. all power and handling. ugh. love older cars

It was very good 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
BioBreak is the hidden gem for detailing! Great video as always!
I have a 2013 BMW 328i and the most it has in it is power seat and a navigation system but just a good and fun driving car
I still my 1992 nissan sentra..and planning to restore it..from inside out..
Back when Mitsubishi loved building classic’s
This is one of those first cars you get in basically any nfs game lol. Back when mitsubishi was still good and not making crappy renault rebadges
I’d love to have a 96 Impala!!

good evo
My dream car I hope I get one soon! I would want the gsr version tho
Who abandons an Evo X? I had a built 2011 X and had to sale it to get a truck for work and that was 6 years ago and I still miss it.
Man, I wish I could own that Evo X MR. Just need to install GSR spoiler, and I'm set

Love the Lancers! Wish it was for sale and I'll trade in my '02 version from that one lol
It is! Shoot me an email in my bio and I’ll get you in touch with the seller
This is literally one of my dream cars and someone just left it for 2 years WTF!
Yeah it’s baffling. This one ran perfectly though and I certainly had fun with it before and after the detail
WRX STI... that would be my pick.
I had a GR sti back in the day and loved it but if you haven’t tried an evo preferably a IV MR I would say give it a shot first
@@StaufferGarage I am sure an EVO would be great fun. I just have had a lot of Subies. The Devil I know so to speak...

awesome video mate, Evo x fanatic here!!! hehehe and nice music too, can you give the list of the song in this video I like it. thanks mate
I've always liked the look of the EVO's but could never find one that was worth the price and had decent mileage.
Wish i still had my '07 subaru sti
Wish I had my '11 GR...
I would take one of these as well with a 6 speed and not even upgrade it a whole lot
My dream car ❤
abandoned but the leather seats are still pristine
I have a Mitsubishi libero gt, super easy to work on 1.8t wagon of the evo 123 shape, looks pretty good aswell being a wagon
Hawk eye subaru impreza 😌 and i got one of them.
uma trato desse aqui em MACEIÓ seria TOP !!!!
10:51 WELL SAID!!!!!
Cuanto tiempo te lleva detallar un autl asi? Un par de dias? Excelente trabajo
About 6-7 hours if I didn’t stop
Dunno, the Evo X is slowly growing on me.
Notifications don’t work huh why I got it
They do and they don’t. Depending on the users activity level RUclips will send them out immediately or the next week
Nice
Damn! I legit just bought some mint shine interior cleaners on Friday… Can I get the brush still? Lol!!

would love to get heated seats in mine, and trade the cloth seats I got. ehh.. sucks living here in Connecitcut.
Why would someone neglect this car? This car is gold and 40k plus miles.
