The speaker has a great tone to it, with a good balance but feels like only one bass level, so same level of deep bass all the time, but the mids are better than on partybox Encore I would say

Authentics 300 sounds like a big speaker for its size. Yes i agree it has a better mids & highs than a partybox

Thanks for uploading this video. I'm also considering to buy JBL Authentic for my need of a good quality Home Speaker but could not decide between Authentic 300 and 500 . I like portability and battery powered of Authentic 300 . But I like equally good for having Dolby Atoms features on the Authentic 500 . So please help me to decide. I also request you to make a comparison video for the Authentic 300 and 500 to the equivalent Marshall Speakers Action 3 and Woburn 3 .
