OMG, THE VS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR, YOUR THE ABSOLUTE BEST 🙌
I think bose has the most balance sound maybe a little warm sounding but jbl is too bright in my opinion
I have an Xtreme4 and I have to say, that you are right, but itˋs easy to upgrade the sound a lot with a simple equalizer.
Thank you for another great comparison! 👍
Excellent review! I wonder how long I will be able to control myself before I add this to my Bose speaker collection!
I caved right away and pre ordered.
Great review 🔥 can you please review the devialet mania? And put it against other speakers. Thanks 💪🏼👍🏼
I'm using aiwa 450pro and I haven't listened such a critical clear sound from an, portable Bluetooth speaker, please review once. bcoz that richness is mind-blowing
thanks of individually listening to music of all sperkers, that how each one sound. not everyone does this much effort that is why i❤ you work.
Thank you for this. Looking for an outdoor speaker and I think out of the 3, JBL is my choice.
Thanks for reviewing and listening! I just bought it Marshall Middleton in light colors and the speaker sounds really interesting and looks almost true to size JBL Charge 5.
The Bose is very crystal clear sounds thank you for the review ... I will keep supporting you from 🇵🇭😊❤
I cant wait to hear the Bose MAX. I had the marshall middleton but ended up returning it. Maybe it was defective but mine was a hot mess at high volume. Only sounded great at low volumes. But the higher i raised the volume , the bass would get lost and sounded not so great.
I've got a Middleton and I'm delighted with it. For $250 I think it's certainly worth it. The only thing it can't do is true stereo, you can pair several together with Stack mode but they'll all play the same thing. Minor qualm though. I think it's the PERFECT size and portability while still packing a punch, and you don't have to fiddle with any apps or cables, and the sound is really perfect especially for portable listening situations - at a party or barbecue, drawing, cooking, listening to podcasts, in the bathroom, etc. Doesn't replace a full blown party speaker or sound system though.
Hello, thanks for bringing up this comparison. I ask you if you listened to the Klipsch Detroit and the x600 versus the Bose and the Marshall, which one do you recommend for watching movies as a portable speaker. Greetings 🙌🙌
I have not listened to the Klipsch so i cant say on that one. I guess it depends on what you're watching. If it's an action movie...you might enjoy the Deeper bass of the Bose. The marshall could also do well thanks to its 360 degree sound.
Which sounds the best
Sound quality to my liking is marshall it has a balanced sound across the frequency spectrum
Agree
Kapan ya Ready di indonesia? Dan Harga Nya Berapa? 🤔
If you listen to the 100% Volume outdoors test carefully the Bose is the only one of the speakers to retain any sort of meaningful bass in relation to the mids and highs. The two other speakers you can tell right away that the bass is being dialed down to achieve that level of loudness leading to a very artificial sound. That being said, Soundcore Boom 2 is the way to go lol. You can buy three of them for the same price of the Bose.
Hi guys, I have JBL Xtreme 4 & I love it, portable, removable battery, stereo speaker, punchy bass & long last battery. Everything you need from a speaker guys.
Will buy the Bose on black friday
Bose soundlink max vs soundcore motion x600 comparison video👍🏼
I just got the bose MAX over the weekend and this speaker is unbelievable for the size. Worth the xtra money it costs if u care bout high quality sound. Bass is very deep and clean. No gimmicks just pure outstanding sound. The middleton is impressive at low volume levels but a mess at high because the bass gets lost. The xtreme is overrated. The only speaker i have that performs just under the MAX is the soundcore Boom 2. Its so so close. The boom 2 sounds unbelieveable for the price. But the bose sound quality is just in another class. If u cant afford the MAX , i highly highly recommend the soundcore Boom 2. But U DO have to adjust the EQ in the soundcore app to ur likings. Its makes it sound 10 times better than out the box. The bose doesnt even need its app. Sounds just right out of the box.
Perfect review. I prefer JBL because of its trebles
Bose doesn't mention Watts output Marshall Middleton 30W. I have bose wave its 50W 😊 JBL sounded good but their product quality is not as good as Bose
Finally! Bose Improves it! "The lower Bass!" however, still lacks of high treble and slight bass boosted.
Marshall going for an electric guitar Amp look?
can you do a comparison of the Devialet Mania vs Bose soundlink Max
that speaker might be out of my price range lol
You didn’t adjust the EQ on the Bose. There’s a HUGE DIFFERENCE once the EQ is adjusted.
I own a JBL flip 6 and am quite happy with its quality and performance...however I would want to add a Marshall too to my stock...will I be able to pair my JBL flip 6 with Marshall Middleton...both are bluetooth 5.1....any wise and right feedback would be highly appreciated
no
I think Bose and JBL would sound way better with custom EQ. I have a JBL speaker, at first I’m using it’s standard eq and I was not satisfied, but when I use my own custom eq, it’s such a big leap. Sounds wayyy better.
The Max sounds very good with pretty good stereo affect. Adjusting the EQ makes a big difference. Some bass distortion was noted at high volume. Lowing the bass setting and bringing up the mid and treble made quite a difference. My only complaint is not being able to stereo pair. Bose doesn't even say when that will happen.
Not a stereo effect. It's real stereo with a center tweeter. The bass distortion you hear is due to the limiters that come on to 1.) protect the drivers and 2.) conserve battery life. That's on purpose. Why would you want a stereo pair two stereo speakers? Because of the configuration, you'll lose all stereo imaging with two of these running right and left mono. The drivers in the product are physically spaced to phase the audio in a certain with the signal processing.
@@Gravity_Ghost Technology should allow to create a left right pair for stereo instead of 2 mono speakers. The other stuff I know. I worked for a speaker company most of my adult life. Pairing is coming at some point for the Max.
I'm not sure how to respond to that. It's strange logic. My point is that pairing two stereo system like the soundlink max doesn't make sense for STEREO music because of how it's made. I think Bose calls the pairing "party mode". Maybe that's a more apt name than "stereo pairing." Just more music in the room. That's great.
@@Gravity_Ghost What I'm expecting is when the update happens, enabling party mode will put one speaker into a left channel and the other into a right channel to create stereo. Not 2 speakers both playing stereo. I don't think that would sound very good. Amazon has had this for years, If they can do it, Bose surely can. The Amazon Studio speaker is a stereo speaker with multiple transducers same as the Max does. When you group them as they call it on the Alexa app. they switch from stereo to left/right channel speakers. In the Alexa app, you can also control each EQ and volume settings as well as it telling you which speaker is left or right and the ability to switch them if desired.
@@Gravity_Ghost This should be no problem at all. Anker Soundcore x600 (being a stereo speaker) does exactly this: When two x600 are paired, one speaker only plays the left channel why the other one plays the right channel. And it's really amazing, it sounds *so* much better than just having two mono speakers (aka party mode).
My boom box went out. Right on time
If you're looking for a TRUE outdoors speaker, then the obvious choice is the JBL EXTREME 4. It has a crisp, clean sound with mostly upper bass, as opposed to low bass, which will drain your battery quicker. Once you take & use a speaker outside, it loses certain sound characteristics, meaning that bass isn't as important outside as it is inside.
Last but not least, it has a longer battery life. The battery is also interchangeable, meaning once the battery is completely dead & doesn't charge & or work anymore, you can swap it out with another battery, as opposed to buying another speaker.
Valid points. Outdoor acoustics are much different.
@@CEONTHEMAKINGyes for outdoors you need more bass
And the xtreme has the most amount of deep bass here the rest not as much
No surprise that the Bose sounds the best! The sound quality is superior! Sure it’s pricey, but you pay for quality, and if you’re not satisfied with the price, just weight 5 months until Black Friday this November and get it for half the price 🤷🏿♂️.
please video on " Brane" bluetooth speaker
I had the G boom 3. It just went. 5years. What u think about that?
Soundcore Boom 2 is a deal for $130. They have the Boom 2 plus coming out for $250 if you want something bigger. Both excellent deals cuzz
Ceon! , Thanks for posting this video
Of course!
I have these speakers: two soundcore x600s, two Bose Flex’s, a JBL Boombox 3, a UE Boom 3 , and a little Clip 4. Is there room or a need or a particular sound/bass I’m missing that I should get the Bose Max? How similar is it to the x600’s?
I have owned many Bluetooth speakers in my life and the Bose max for the size beats them all out there. I have a UE epicboom currently and a hyperboom and honestly sounds better than the Epicboom. One he missed to compare here on the review.
I'll wait for Tribit to release Stormbox Blast II which is sure to demolish everything in its path
I still swear by the Stormbox Blast as the best stereo paired speaker system
Agreed Tribit Blast is a monster and for $160 blows away anything close to the price
Middleton nail it. Sadly, Its steriophonic sound does not appear in any sound recorder. If you hear it urself, this is the cut throat for the sound.
What's the chances of them making one size bigger than the max? That would be sweet! I would buy that also.
That would be interesting, but what would the price be? $800? Lol
@@CEONTHEMAKING id buy it, I have $800 for one lol
I bought bose max. Though it's not such crispy sound as in revolve 2+, i didn't go with it because of the micro USB charging cable. It's so outdated. But still it sounds great. Battery amazing, quite heavy weigh. Among the three Marshall sounds a bit suffocating ro me. JBL... Thats not the brand I ever consider worth buying. I was also considering some other brands. But having Bose before, it's such quality speakers/ headphones that never die unless you did something to them.
A few clarifications: this is a real stereo speaker. There are three drivers: two full range speakers arranged to increase stereo perception and middle tweeter to land the stereo image where it should be and sharpen the image. This is a real stereo speaker.
Max volume is the worst place to test any amplifier, speaker, or other audio equipment. There's nothing to learn from max volume. In the case of battery operated speakers, max volume is the place where limiters come on to protect the drivers, ampfliers, keep temperatures low (especially if your outside in the sun), keep the battery safe (HUGE deal) and extend batter life. Of course the sound quality diminishes at max volume!
Lastly, if you're going to mic a STEREO speaker, make sure that the STEREO mic is placed in a place where the phases of the right and left channel won't do strange things as the waves propagate out into the room. That is to say that in this case, your "captured" EQ will sound different depending on the distance from the unit. Each speaker will be different. Your video is unfortunately completely subjective to your setup, and is NOT an apples to apples comparison.
There's no substitute for hearing the speakers in person.
Doesn't the Soundlink Max have 3 transducers, 2 passive radiators and a tweeter? Also how many watts is it? And what is the battery mah? I'm surprised a speaker the size of the Soundlink Flex is only 3100mah when the smaller JBL Flip 6 is 4800mah. Hoping the Soundlink Max has a much bigger battery.
@@108mtsan The two passive radiators are taken into account but act as physical stabilizers as well as radiators. The energy used in passive radiators is created by the two main drivers, which are large and power hungry! The main reason to use them is to not have speaker dance around. It rounds out the sound nicely when done correctly.
The battery I believe is ~4800mAh typical. But don't get the wrong idea about battery size and play time. All of that can be manipulated and affected by power supply, amplifier, and the flavor of DSP implementation. Larger batteries for smaller units can also mean there are a lot of inefficiencies to overcome to get to the play times you want. IN the case of the soundlink max, it sounds like they've made things pretty efficient because the playtimes are longer with a "smaller" pack.
The smaller battery pack is usually an economic decision. More cells = higher price on the market. But with Bose, they look at a battery cell and try to suck as much as they can out of dynamically-- meaning it's not about the watts, but how much current they can source to shape the effect desirable to the customer, which is mostly bass. Bose's competitors don't put the load of managing the battery on the DSP, which means they have to have headroom for inefficiencies, which means larger battery. This is all to say: don't judge a speaker's audio quality and play time by the battery size. It's way more complicated than that.
I think it depends whether you're listening outdoors or indoors, I own several JBL and Bose BT speakers
I am more biased towards the JBL outdoors because of the boosted mids and a more open sound
BOSE for indoors because they are generally well balanced for closed environments, however you put them outside, some of the frequencies get "drowned" in the mix..
You put theJBL inside, mids and lows can be too overwhelming
Someone said JBL is best for club music and Bose is neutral for any music whereas Marshall suits live acoustic music. Is that true?
@@108mtsan You have to get the right tool for the job. Music speakers and PA speakers are different for good reasons. Using Bose as an example, the soundlink max and S1 Pro+ are even close to acting the same.
Great review. I'm a Bose Guy BUT at $400 and looking like a purse. I'm going to have consider other options. It sounds good but not at $400.
You gotta hear that in person to conclude such a thing 😂
I agree 400 is way on the high side. Too many other options right now.
@@shoerice5083 people who are fans of bose from the beginning don't even need to hear it first before they order. We the fans know this is on the high side already.
100% definitely looks like a purse
@@s6ty9 nah, for you maybe.
Why I felt Marshall sound so sweet and also better in clarity than two..
Not even close pal! I installed both at all the Best Buy in the Boston area Bose is the champ!
Hi I have 2 Bose soundlink flex. My question is if 2 Bose Flex paired together In stereo mode will sound louder and better than this new speak? The disadvantage for me is that always need to pair them together, but still if they sound better than the new Bose is pointless to buy the new one. Thanks.
The Bose connection software is less than good. Get two charge 5s if you are going to pair
@@gtbigdog3507 I have already 2 Bose flex and i was thinking to sell them and take the new Bose max if it's sounds better than them together. Otherwise i'm really happy with flex.
Someone doesn’t understand physics
I'm not sure if 2 connected Flex are stereo or mono. I have a pair of the Flex and just got the new Max. The Max plays louder with fuller sound. One advantage of the Flex is placing them apart. A pair of Flex may be enough for many, but the Nax is louder and cleaner sounding. knowing I'll be able to pair the Max someday, that would be my choice.
@@66skate Thanks.
A Bose tem um som mais equilibrado em todas frequências!
if i spend money upto 400 i would straight buy ult 7 with eyes closed as for more bass!
I’m John with TSRC
I was just curious if you had the chance to try our drone.
I’d would be more happy to send you a free drone that you can test.

At 50% which has more bass?
Is the Bose nasally?
Bose has most bass they say
@@shoerice5083 sounded like Marshall had more deep bass or due to the suppressed highs?
@@jay-ti7kd the recording isn't that good on this video, the bose has far more bass. The marshall is a little bit louder probably (after seeing floss's video)
I’ve trust on bose speakers 💕
Nice speakers ❤
The Marshall sounds a bit muffled...I'm a Bose fan boy ...so my choice is done 😅..it's a pity licence agreement's don't allow you to play music like Imagine Dragons (loud) 😅😅😅
I guess the realistic price of the Soundlink Flex was just a fluke
Nice review. I will go for the Bose tho 😂
The ability to change batteries on the JBL is a game changer for me -- the speakers will last many years....
Yes and they are not expensive. I have a charge 3 and it's very easy to swap out the battery.
my bose soundlink speaker lasted me 12 years and still going strong before I changed to Bose Flex
Bose sounds the clearest
Its hard to choice the best !!!
The one that costs the least!
Mashall's the clearest of all if cost.EQ set to 8 bass and 6 treble and around 70% volume.

for that price, buy jbl bb3, it costs 300€ cheaper than bose
Sonos 2 or bose max ? I hesitate 😔
Bose Max is portable, if it's the Sonos I think you're talking about, that speaker needs to be plugged into the wall. Unless you're talking about the Sonos move which I think is portable. But ya I would love to compare the Sonos move to the Bose.
@@user-do2yj5rr2kI finally bought the Sonos Move 2 I will take the Bose during Black Friday 😉
Bose so beautiful
JBL Xtreme 4
+ Longevity (replaceable battery, repairability), JBL bass
- Sound quality not up to the mark
Bose Soundlink Max
+Sound quality, instrument separation, superb bass
- Bose service is not quite good after the 1-year warranty
Marshall Middleton
+Loud and crystal clear vocals, good-looking shelf item
-Lack of punchy bass, SBC only (needs AptX)
Middleton kills it!! So nice, warm, detailed and balanced sound. Now, it depends on each person's taste, but if we are being realistic, the most accurate sound is produced by Marshall, hands down.
Marshall
この値段帯になるとどれもこれも良いところがあるな・・・
Bose has good mids which most of the people like so for me bose is the winner
Boseee bestt
So you alter the EQ to give the Marshall the advantage? Seems like you have a bias. Keep the settings the same.
Nah. I'm just not about to waste time comparing the Marshall with an EQ most won't use. There's no way you listen to the video and think I gave Marshall an advantage. Makes no difference to me which speaker you buy.. If I had a hidden agenda, I'd tell people to buy the Bose to boost my affiliate commissions.
@@CEONTHEMAKINGLol, whatever. So the EQ will only be used in certain units and brands? Got it.
Mil veces jbl bose distorciona demasiado mas q un parlante chino compre el sounlink flex ya tuve la experiencia

They're similar in price, but the ULT 7 is a much larger speaker!
Middleton clearly better from and audiophile perspective. Crystal clear
its not balance go see the frequency response
The Middleton isn’t for audiophiles bruh. Marshall doesn’t even make it themselves. Some other company just has the privilege to use Marshall’s brand and design
@@spiderboi7412 Interesting, I didn't know that however I don't think the fact that the product is licensed is enough to dismiss it . Based on this test it seemed to me it was less powerful but there was better separation, the others seemed a little muddy.
Sonos move 2 beats all of them

Bose sounds the best, and I'm a Bose hater lol
I like jbl. Nearly vise and Marshall is disaster. I m waiting for jbl charge 6
You need better mics
Bose is the best for me firstly, Marshall is second and JBL last
