My recommendations
Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available
Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes
JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.
Love these! 2 of the absolute best build quality. Expensive but very nice sound. Both unique in their own way.
Bose is ok, but marshall? you really like it? 😜
@@DominikReviews Middleton is horrible at max volume as the BASS gets lost but at bout 60% volume or lower I believe sound nice. It's unique sound IMO. Probably NOT for everyone who wants banging BASS in ur face.

U get a lot of details with the Marshall at lower volume
The bass is “sweeter” than even partybox encore and Jbl boombox 3
Especially below 60%
It’s not boomy at all just deep clean bass n nice instruments
It’s more suited for personal listening or round table gatherings
Bass is ok but overall sound for me is a complete fail...

@@jay-ti7kdMiddleton has good bass, but the thin mid is not warm, and there is no crisp treble either

I think it was a necessary evil to be able to achieve the rock style sound signature and give very good details.
U hear a lot more details of the music when u listen on the Middleton especially guitar and other delicate instrumentals which are usually covered by other Bluetooth speakers

I also have both of them now and i paid 200 bucks for middleton and 400 for the bose wich is double the price of the middleton, so for that point the marshall is a no brainer to buy! If you set both the bass and treble to 10 on the middleton than it's just as loud as the bose max and not far behind mate! I'm sending the bose max back also the battery life is better on the middleton and with a 20v charger you can charge the middleton from 0-100% within 3hrs the bose takes 4 to 4,5 hrs to fully charge, no matter wich charger you use! With that said the marshall has and is way more bang for the buck bose is overpriced as always and that will never change and than you have people that think that how higher the price is the better the product is, but that's not always the case comrade! But anyway nice review, cheers 🍻!
I agree, I tried using a 100w charger on the Middleton. (Of course the speaker won't take the whole 100w.) But, It gets fully charged around 2hrs 50mins. Faster than the advertised 4.5 hrs. The sound ain't so bad as well, I can hear more instruments/details in the Middleton compared to other brands. The bass isn't as punchy as what you'll get from a JBL and Sony but there is bass in it. It's just so low you'll barely notice it unless you are in a quiet place(I'm not saying it's bad, the low rumbling bass actually feels good.) Most users hate that from the Middleton because they love the punchy bass that hits like a pro boxer type of speaker. Definitely not an outdoor speaker IMO. Also, If you go beyond 70% that's when it sounds awful(I'm an owner myself an I can say it sounds "Tin Can like" at 90% over". I haven't owned a Bose yet but some users says it starts crackling after 60% volume which you won't hear in a Middleton despite the annoying sound over 70%. Planning to buy the Max but decided to just get a new sofa. 🤣
@@melancholic.egoist i got them both the bose is better way better but the price tag is also bigger than the middleton! The battery on the bose is way better to the middleton 8 hrs max the bose 15hrs minimum so that's also a thing to consider going to return the middleton it's not enough for me! 😂
@@TheCorne87 I'm not sure about that. The bose is getting returned a lot. Might be because it's to expensive for the quality you get. But the prices already went down after the release. Some sells it for $370-380. 🤯
@@melancholic.egoist I haven't noticed that i bought the bose max for 300 bucks it was on sale for a week on our bose website in our country, now it's 400 again. So for 300 bucks i ditched the middleton i know you will understand that? 😅

Vocal sounds more clear & natural in Bose soundlink max. Your ears prefer balanced sound rather than punchy sound if you listen music for longer period.
Brain can adjust to any sound, Talking this way i could say i can listen to music through phone speakers and i will think it is good, also you don't know my ear, My ears prefer balanced sound yes, but marshall is not balanced. It is dull and harshy

Due to it’s bass heavy sound signature, comparing the Bose to the EXTREME 3 while it’s plugged in indoors makes sense, well if you’re thinking about getting the Bose for indoor use it makes sense.
Once you hear how the JBL sounds plugged in, I can promise you, that you won’t want the Bose anymore.
For me pluggin in xtreme 3 only made it sounds worse with more distortion than on battery...
Stockwell is the best sounding marshall portable, but not big or loud enough

Лучший способ понять - по возможности послушать оба экземпляра вживую (в идеале оба попеременно в один период времени на одних и тех же музыкальных фрагментах) и далее уже выбрать что больше нравится, либо прийти к выводу что ни то ни другое не нравится и тогда уже смотреть ещё какие - нибудь альтернативные варианты...
