- Checker it up with the new Bernat Baby Blanket Tiny Yarn to create this unique looking blanket called Crochet Checker Baby Blanket.
This project uses 3 yarn at the same time but is not done as a graphghan. It's strategic with using ch 3's to be able to hide colours from each other. Using 3 colours allows the colours to flow easily up the side of the blanket with very little notice without having to change yarns constantly.

I love it can't wait to try it as I have a new grandson coming very soon and I made the Unicorn blanket, for my grand daughter the Spider-Man web blanket for my grandson. So here gooses
This is a beautiful blanket!!!
Love this blanket and so glad for the way you finished it! I would hate those gaps. would drive me crazy! Thanks for all you do. Have a blessed week.
I really like the finishing row you created. It makes a lot more sense to have sc3, dc3 on the end. The gaps would drive me nuts!
CHange what you don't like to suit your own needs. Patterns are just suggestions.
Looks like row 1 of the pattern has the beginning asterisk in the wrong place. It should be in front of the "Ch 3." Otherwise, you'll have sets of 4dc across (after the first set of 3). Also, row 2 ends with a sc in the top of the ch3, but you skipped the sc entirely and just joined your new color.
First time making this, but didn't see this video till now. I did it where I cut the yarn at the ends when I changed colors. Now stuck with weaving in a lot of ends! I'll try this method probably going forward. Thanks for the video!
It's looked hard but once I started it awesome hello great grand babies, blankets on the way
That's super!
I love what you do .. I learn a lot because of your simple explanation..Thank you 👍
You're welcome.
I had to change to other yarn but I love the pattern. I want to make the pattern larger.

I really like that pattern! I have bunches of that yarn to use up! Thank you! 🤓
Probably look great as a scrapghan concept too!
I just made a sample in red heart yarn. This stitch would make a great purse! Thanks Mikey!!

It literally is the best when you change the speed to two.

Would this work with two colors?
Lovelyyy 😍
Yes... when you finish 1 row, you have to go back to the start of the row and get the second colour to go across. It can be done and isn't that hard. I think I have another tutorial like that. I can visualize the baby blanket but I cannot remember the name of it.
