Message you every 5 minutes or something to see if you're available? Though I do remember Abby being somewhat responsible for this too. Tanner isn't perfect and did in fact screw up a couple of times, but I thought he was in fact being sincere with his apologies, whereas Eric was definitely handling multiple things poorly and taking them the wrong way, and I do believe that what he says about Tanner in this video is incredibly disrespectful and not true at all. I believe Tanner did everything as best as he could to fix things between them and is sorry for the 0.5% of this that was his fault, but if I was him, I would've chewed out everyone attacking Eric in a similar way TheMysteriousMrEnter did in his 2018 video titled: Talking about my Online Harassment, to people harassing and spreading outdated information about him. I still like both individually as content creators and will keep watching their channels.

SmallAnt being accused of emotionally manipulating someone again just like that Lo person his former lady friend online. I know both sides of the story and the whole story overall, but definitely the chats and fanbases over exaggerated this way too much. It all started with just PointCrow resetting because he thought he was softlocked when in reality he wasn’t really and SmallAnt played the randomizer challenge race properly. This sucks.

When they started being friends, PC was always asking and getting advice from ant, Tanner being more and nice enough to help. The chats started there shit over there random banter and continued being toxic like people tend to do on the internet which im sure both of them knew happens (not saying its right because they knew) PC took offence to it and blamed ant for literally the opinions of random people on the internet, nothing else, he then blamed Ant for it when it wasn't his fault. If PC really considered him a friend, he wouldn't ever of treated him like that over the opinions of strangers. He was more than happy to ask and take advice from Ant when he was benefiting from it. He then blocks ant and after a few months when they spoke, he tells ant (well i wanted you to get in touch with me to sort it out) thats messed up, thats the shit you do with a girlfriend in school when you are kids, this guys supposed to be an adult and hes treating his "friends" like that. I don't know the guy personally, hes probably a nice guy (point crow) but it is clear as day he can't handle his emotions and he'll backstap a friend over something that wasn't their fault over. I was a fan of both and I think its evident what side im on but they both seem like chill dudes, I just don't like the way PC hold himself, seems childish to me.

It’s a bummer that this happened because they’re collaborations were some of the funniest and most entertaining videos I’ve ever watched. What’s done is done, and hopefully they’ll both find it in their hearts to forgive one another someday. As a fan of BOTH of these RUclipsrs, I will continue to support them BOTH. He keeps saying there’s other people with similar stories, yet no one has come out with anything even after all this time. I genuinely think this boils down to Eric being insecure about his self image, seeing hate and being negatively affected by it, blaming Tanner even though it wasn’t really his fault, poorly communicated to Tanner what it was he was asking, and then getting more angry when Tanner couldn’t figure out what he needed to do. Of course, it’s not all Eric’s fault. Tanner definitely messed up here and there too, but the fact that this blew to the proportion that it did is almost entirely because Eric couldn’t handle the hate that comes with a rivalry on the internet.

This is the take. Tanner did make some mistakes, stepped on Eric’s toes, but these were little breaches of courtesy. Eric is the victim of internet toxicity but he has hoisted this really unjustifiable burden onto Tanner to make all of it go away, even while Tanner was trying to accommodate him and communicate with him. Tanner couldn’t wave a magic wand and solve everything and so Eric basically responded by saying Tanner was encouraging it
I agree to an extent, a friend once sent me something extremely transphobic and I haven't forgiven them since. Since then though after I explained it was very wrong, they no longer do things like that so we're able to remain friends. I can never forgive that initial thing but i can always work to improve the relationship going forward

PointCrow could have accepted the apology and still refused to work with him again. You can always choose to refuse an apology, but that means that you don't believe their apology is good enough. Meaning PointCrow believes SmallAnt owes him something more than an apology. Otherwise there is nothing to apologize over. PointCrow should have been the better person and accepted the apology, and then stated to his fans and SmallAnt's(and the overlap) that "for the foreseeable future" they will no longer collaborate or communicate with each other. Professionally it would have done him wonders. I like both of these guys, but I cannot say, as an adult, that PointCrow's response to SmallAnt's apology is anything but disappointing. If he was going to drag this out publicly he needs to keep in mind his public image. Otherwise he could have just said, "Smant and I are no longer collaborating, we've moved down different paths," and made that a general statement for the next year so people stop asking about it. It's not professional and it's certainly not a good look on your public image to uphold a victim mentality when the person has apologized and sought reparations(but were otherwise refused).

I remember this shit, quite funny cause I think they just misunderstood each other and ran with their assumptions. Smallant is not 100% responsible for his audience because these chats love being toxic sometimes (its twitch) and Pointcrow is valid for being a upset because smallant was being dense and had some control over the situation and continously explains it away by just saying "well this is just what it is to be an entertainer, it happens, if anything lets have fun with it" which is true to a degree but still. which brings me to Pointcrow which is that not only is he not a victim of horrible things like for some reason he portrayed on this stream, but generally speaking smallant (at least I don't think) hasn't been terrible like that in general to anyone. I also remember that pointcrow claimed that basically smallant was stealing his ideas for modded content to which these are mostly misunderstandings (except 2 from what I remember). Pointcrow again just for some reason seemed just to want to be mad at smallant and used things that were like gray to justify why he "doesn't except the apology" Now I wait with baited breath because I also don't know whats happening behind the scenes so maybe smallant's got skeletons in his closet and he's just been laying low so that people don't expose him.
this has now becomes old news because Eric has very recently done a stream where he tries out an escape room that smallant sent to him, and mentioned in the stream that they are on very much better terms and have been for quite a while, he just hasnt addressed it publicly until the stream. The escape room bit of the stream is on his VODS YT channel, but the bit where he addresses the situation was cut off, but the full VOD on his twitch has it
Just to add a little something. This isnt just twitch. Lately and I am not sure when it exactly started but, a lot of internet communities, especially larger ones, started to become more and more toxic overall. Im not saying stuff like "Person is dumb in chat. Now chat says they are dumb" type of toxicity. Im talking about straight up hostility without reason. Ive been observing this on steam, on forums online, reddit, private forums, twitter (tho thats honestly not a surprise) and even youtube. Im not sure whats causing this but it makes it incredibly unfun to be online as of late.
This guy shouldn't be a streamer if a chats comments upset him to the point of attacking a friend. People online are mean and will harass streamers for fun. How many do you think saw one or two chatters saying small ant was better and decided to troll and spam it? Stuff like that creates waves of movement in chats and what was just a harmless complaint turned into harassment eric couldn't handle. Plus the complaint is laughable at best? a copycat? Buddy if somebody compares you to a bigger(?) streamer you should be ignoring the hate. Weird drama to stumble onto.

Small ant isn't at fault for what chatters said about pointctow, what pointcrow was trying to express was that smallant was at fault for deliberately promoting the "rivalry" knowing full well what his chat would say to pointcrow, even though pointcrow has asked him to stop multiple times. If you watch this whole vod it all makes a lot more sense.
ik this is kinda late and my memory is a little foggy but here we go: it kind of started off as a joke but since Pointcrow kinda had the same type of content as Smant and vice versa, PC got called “walmart version” of smant. It was a funny joke until it got to a point where people took it wayy too far. One video comes to mind where it was seemingly a normal modded pokemon video but the comments on it said that pcrow cheated and there was a massive flow of them and it got too much. PC asked smant to create notice to the situation (which he did) but still, horrible people kept hating on PC. After a while this has been happening PC says that Smant needed to do “better” and stop the hate for good. Smant was confused on how he was supposed to do so he asked Abbybagel (Pcrows manager? i’m not completely sure) on what he should do and she said to give him space and time, which he did, but PC said that smant was not saying/doing anything and then the responses came out

I always feel bad for streamers who deal with this. It doesn’t matter how big an influencer you are. You can’t convince everybody to do something. But some people in chat will always be trying to get to you. There isn’t anything you can do about it. Not enough of guidelines or rules or bans or timing out will make them stop. All you can do is just ignore them. Streamers feel like they are given all the power over their chat. Like they can just yell at a camera and scold their chat. All that does is make you less watchable. It’s not healthy. Smallant actually does a good job at ignoring trolls in his chat. But even he gets fed up with it. One example would be during the 16 star runs. I don’t watch much of PointCrow so I can’t say the same for him. I hope he’s gotten better at handling these situations. I just like to point out that if you can’t act humble or be genuine on stream, you’re not gonna gain any respect.

The fact that content creators still feel the need to talk about drama like this publicly rubs me the wrong way. They really need to talk things out behind the scenes and not let viewers get ANY crumbs of info. It feels wrong to be allowing your audience the ability to judge and twist ideas/scenarios. Take care of business offline, that's it. It's so simple, yet constantly they think it's OK to just air this shit out and vent as if we're somehow their buddy buddy... ugh.

He deserves it now. It's one thing to be disappointed and annoyed with toxic comments, but he's just commiting slander and lying about tanner, saying negative things about him that aren't true. Smallants fans called him a cheater in a video since he broke a softlock rule a bunch of times. Also called him discount smallant. PC got mad and demanded Smallant do something about it and address it. He did. Pointcrow said "do better' which was incredibly vague, and he asked PC's manager or something what to do. She said give him space and time. He did, then PC acted like smallant was avoiding him or something. Overall, PC was a baby and overreacted. Smallant tried to remedy the situation and do what pointcrow wanted but pointcrow was too vague and worked up, and ended up saying this, attacking smallants character when he did nothing wrong.

It’s been a while since the controversy, but as I remember it, the two did a Pokemon challenge video and PC misinterpreted one of the rules. It was a slight mixup, and due to their friendly rivalry, smant played it up and in his video joked about PC cheating. Smant’s audience, however, took this as actually cheating and got pissed at PC, which obviously sucked. PC contacted smant and he apologized for his audience. From there I believe there was either another competition or something about PC doing a video similar to one of smant’s, because smant’s audience got enraged at PC again. PC contacted smant and wanted to call off the rivalry and stop the portrayal of them as enemies, which smant agreed to. I believe he did tease PC one more time though, which riled up his audience and really made PC upset, and he cut off contact with smant. I may be wrong in some parts and this is a very condensed version, but that’s at least what I remember.

Like, no shit you can't control people online, even if you're a hypnotist, and there's a difference between having a thick skin and an impenetrable skin, and these people are only acting so high and mighty because they're not in Eric's position and wouldn't last a week in his position.
I believe Tanner did everything as best as he could to fix things between them and is sorry for the 0.5% of this that was his fault, but if I was him, I would've chewed out everyone attacking Eric in a similar way TheMysteriousMrEnter did in his 2018 video titled: Talking about my Online Harassment, to people harassing and spreading outdated information about him.
I still like both individually as content creators and will keep watching their channels.

When they started being friends, PC was always asking and getting advice from ant, Tanner being more and nice enough to help. The chats started there shit over there random banter and continued being toxic like people tend to do on the internet which im sure both of them knew happens (not saying its right because they knew) PC took offence to it and blamed ant for literally the opinions of random people on the internet, nothing else, he then blamed Ant for it when it wasn't his fault. If PC really considered him a friend, he wouldn't ever of treated him like that over the opinions of strangers. He was more than happy to ask and take advice from Ant when he was benefiting from it. He then blocks ant and after a few months when they spoke, he tells ant (well i wanted you to get in touch with me to sort it out) thats messed up, thats the shit you do with a girlfriend in school when you are kids, this guys supposed to be an adult and hes treating his "friends" like that. I don't know the guy personally, hes probably a nice guy (point crow) but it is clear as day he can't handle his emotions and he'll backstap a friend over something that wasn't their fault over. He keeps saying there’s other people with similar stories, yet no one has come out with anything even after all this time. I genuinely think this boils down to Eric being insecure about his self image, seeing hate and being negatively affected by it, blaming Tanner even though it wasn’t really his fault, poorly communicated to Tanner what it was he was asking, and then getting more angry when Tanner couldn’t figure out what he needed to do.
Of course, it’s not all Eric’s fault. Tanner definitely messed up here and there too, but the fact that this blew to the proportion that it did is almost entirely because Eric couldn’t handle the hate that comes with a rivalry on the internet.

This is the take. Tanner did make some mistakes, stepped on Eric’s toes, but these were little breaches of courtesy. Eric is the victim of internet toxicity but he has hoisted this really unjustifiable burden onto Tanner to make all of it go away, even while Tanner was trying to accommodate him and communicate with him. Tanner couldn’t wave a magic wand and solve everything and so Eric basically responded by saying Tanner was encouraging it
People seem to forget that accepting an apology is not an obligation, its up for the person to decide and you have no right to judge him
I agree to an extent, a friend once sent me something extremely transphobic and I haven't forgiven them since. Since then though after I explained it was very wrong, they no longer do things like that so we're able to remain friends. I can never forgive that initial thing but i can always work to improve the relationship going forward

Without further context, it really does seem like you're being petty and don't really care about them as much as they clearly care about you.
PointCrow could have accepted the apology and still refused to work with him again. You can always choose to refuse an apology, but that means that you don't believe their apology is good enough. Meaning PointCrow believes SmallAnt owes him something more than an apology. Otherwise there is nothing to apologize over.
PointCrow should have been the better person and accepted the apology, and then stated to his fans and SmallAnt's(and the overlap) that "for the foreseeable future" they will no longer collaborate or communicate with each other. Professionally it would have done him wonders.
I like both of these guys, but I cannot say, as an adult, that PointCrow's response to SmallAnt's apology is anything but disappointing. If he was going to drag this out publicly he needs to keep in mind his public image. Otherwise he could have just said, "Smant and I are no longer collaborating, we've moved down different paths," and made that a general statement for the next year so people stop asking about it. It's not professional and it's certainly not a good look on your public image to uphold a victim mentality when the person has apologized and sought reparations(but were otherwise refused).

I remember this shit, quite funny cause I think they just misunderstood each other and ran with their assumptions. Smallant is not 100% responsible for his audience because these chats love being toxic sometimes (its twitch) and Pointcrow is valid for being a upset because smallant was being dense and had some control over the situation and continously explains it away by just saying "well this is just what it is to be an entertainer, it happens, if anything lets have fun with it" which is true to a degree but still. which brings me to Pointcrow which is that not only is he not a victim of horrible things like for some reason he portrayed on this stream, but generally speaking smallant (at least I don't think) hasn't been terrible like that in general to anyone.
I also remember that pointcrow claimed that basically smallant was stealing his ideas for modded content to which these are mostly misunderstandings (except 2 from what I remember). Pointcrow again just for some reason seemed just to want to be mad at smallant and used things that were like gray to justify why he "doesn't except the apology"

this has now becomes old news because Eric has very recently done a stream where he tries out an escape room that smallant sent to him, and mentioned in the stream that they are on very much better terms and have been for quite a while, he just hasnt addressed it publicly until the stream. The escape room bit of the stream is on his VODS YT channel, but the bit where he addresses the situation was cut off, but the full VOD on his twitch has it
Just to add a little something. This isnt just twitch. Lately and I am not sure when it exactly started but, a lot of internet communities, especially larger ones, started to become more and more toxic overall. Im not saying stuff like "Person is dumb in chat. Now chat says they are dumb" type of toxicity. Im talking about straight up hostility without reason. Ive been observing this on steam, on forums online, reddit, private forums, twitter (tho thats honestly not a surprise) and even youtube.

ik this is kinda late and my memory is a little foggy but here we go:
it kind of started off as a joke but since Pointcrow kinda had the same type of content as Smant and vice versa, PC got called “walmart version” of smant. It was a funny joke until it got to a point where people took it wayy too far. One video comes to mind where it was seemingly a normal modded pokemon video but the comments on it said that pcrow cheated and there was a massive flow of them and it got too much. PC asked smant to create notice to the situation (which he did) but still, horrible people kept hating on PC. After a while this has been happening PC says that Smant needed to do “better” and stop the hate for good. Smant was confused on how he was supposed to do so he asked Abbybagel (Pcrows manager? i’m not completely sure) on what he should do and she said to give him space and time, which he did, but PC said that smant was not saying/doing anything and then the responses came out

I always feel bad for streamers who deal with this. It doesn’t matter how big an influencer you are. You can’t convince everybody to do something. But some people in chat will always be trying to get to you. There isn’t anything you can do about it. Not enough of guidelines or rules or bans or timing out will make them stop. All you can do is just ignore them. Streamers feel like they are given all the power over their chat. Like they can just yell at a camera and scold their chat. All that does is make you less watchable. It’s not healthy. Smallant actually does a good job at ignoring trolls in his chat. But even he gets fed up with it. One example would be during the 16 star runs. I don’t watch much of PointCrow so I can’t say the same for him. I hope he’s gotten better at handling these situations. I just like to point out that if you can’t act humble or be genuine on stream, you’re not gonna gain any respect.

Smallant tried to remedy the situation and do what pointcrow wanted but pointcrow was too vague and worked up, and ended up saying this, attacking smallants character when he did nothing wrong.

It’s been a while since the controversy, but as I remember it, the two did a Pokemon challenge video and PC misinterpreted one of the rules. It was a slight mixup, and due to their friendly rivalry, smant played it up and in his video joked about PC cheating. Smant’s audience, however, took this as actually cheating and got pissed at PC, which obviously sucked. PC contacted smant and he apologized for his audience. From there I believe there was either another competition or something about PC doing a video similar to one of smant’s, because smant’s audience got enraged at PC again. PC contacted smant and wanted to call off the rivalry and stop the portrayal of them as enemies, which smant agreed to. I believe he did tease PC one more time though, which riled up his audience and really made PC upset, and he cut off contact with smant. I may be wrong in some parts and this is a very condensed version, but that’s at least what I remember.
yeah that's fair to not accept an apology but i still think if either of their chats are more toxic it's EASILY eric's and also the blatant misinforming thing is ironic but yeah if i was in eric's pov here then i'd do the same thing
