- Really wanted to try 3rd person view fpv. I didn't have time to get the insta go 3 before this trip, so decided to try my only other alternative ... full size hero 8! Clearly way to big and heavy for a 4inch... but the 3rd person view is incredible! By the time this video goes live I will have the go 3 ready for another test.

Beautiful area to fly, long rolling waterway to flow
The camera does it no justice... its absolutely stunning. Cameras make the mountains look small 😅. I'll be back there when the weather's better for sure!

I recon if it was guna be a permanent fixture sorting the rates to match the off balance might work, the view looks ace

I've got the insta 360 go 3 now. It defo works better! I'm still playing around with it at the mo. Might go filming tomoz.

Offset the battery to the front so the quad balances at the center and it should improve, Wont fix the aerodynamic drag at the rear though.
Unfortunately there's not enough room on the 4 inch to move the battery forward. 😕. I'm not defeated yet.. I will get this to work 😂
Put heavier nuts and bolts on it...hehe... you are going to run away too... your motors don't like what you are doing. the longer the arm the worse it will fly.. You are so far out of CG that it won't fly.. there's a reason we mount goPro on the front.. better re-think it.. before you lose it
Ha.. I knew it wasn't a good idea , but just wanted to try it. I've just tried with the insta 360 go 3 ... and it doesn't like that either. Even though I changed the mounting position for a better CG. I think the 4inch might just be a bit small. The insta would probably work easily on a 5 inch. But I'm not buying any more quads at the mo 😆
Third person view is not fpv
That is very true.... I might just get away with it as I was flying fpv to get 3pv 😉😆
