- Have to Keep practicing to get to get to that next level. testing out new rates and practice flying. Had a few crashes but that should make me better right??? the drone is ok just needs the rear motors replaced and some props. ill be back at it next weekend!

Drone - Skyliner Mk3 from rotor riot. T-motor F7 HD flight controler, T-motor 55 Amp ESC running 4S power. VTX DJI o3 Air Unit and using the air unit for the receiver as well.
Goggles - DJI Goggles V2
Radio - DJI Controller 2
Camera - Gorpro Hero 7 Black and Canon EOS R7
Friend. Don't leave your dji glasses with the lenses facing the sky or the sun will ruin your glasses displays. My bitter experience. ((
When I went out flying with my friends, every time there is a crash, there is a burst of laughter. 🤭
You learned the valuable lesson of not ever using those types of GoPro mounts again. Good. They are terrible for freestyle because you will have a camera go flying somewhere and you may never find it again. Getting a solid camera mount is going to protect your investment. That new one you picked up for the Hero 9 is meant for someone who knows how to crash. You are likely going to be blowing up your Hero 9 a couple times with that one so hopefully you got it from Best Buy and you paid the extra for the replacement service. Great progress already, bro. I'm definitely invested in your journey because I have a feeling you're going to be pretty good in no time.
I think some sim time would serve you well, my dude. At least learn a few tricks in the sim, then bring them out to the field. The way you’re doing it will get expensive quick.
Amen to that and crashing on a expensive football field not going to good for our hobby.
Neh best way to learn is to just go for it. Your doing a lot better then those noobs that learned on DJI FPV
If you can afford then just crash it.

30 min in the sim a day keeps the new props away
Buy a cheap analog bnf to practice save that beauty for the footage, and I would recommend not flying where you can't get to the Drone just in case you do crash brother. Keep up great work
Just a note... putting your goglges lenses in direct sunlight will cause burnmarks on the screen. Always keep them out the sun. Use a cloth or whatever... anything to prevent the sun from hitting the lens for any duration longer than a couple of seconds.
So much this... or just keep them on your forehead.
I've learned from this.
A) Don't fly where you'll have to climb a fence ( im too old for that and way outta shape)
B) Always record on the goggles!! So you at least have the footy plus can review last flight if you're not sure where it went down. ( happens to me quite often) LOL
C) Watch more Dshot😁

I remember back when I first started and one of my first attempts was a Matty Flip. A Matty Flip! What was I thinking. Broke my GoPro on the first try and it wasn't even my Camera. Boy what a dilemma trying to find a replacement 😮
I’ve crashed my Skyeliner dozens of times with no problem (just had to replace props). The only time I ever destroyed the frame (bottom plate) was screwing up a Matty between two palm trees . I did not realize I was using my super slow indoor rates instead of my freestyle rates so I basically dropped into the ground, tail first, from about 50 feet up.

One thing that’s nice about other radios is that u have more switches. I would recommend putting 3 different rates on a switch so u can try different rates mid flight and see what u like. Not sure u can do it with the dji controller tho.
This drone is unbreakable. I have crashed it many of times.on concrete. So I bought a second drone for the hell of it. Nice flying

Nice flight man something that will really help you Make sure you don't set your goggles down with any light blaring in them it will burn the screens out and leave little green dots. Always keep the screens either covered or facing away from the sun or any bright light

nice flying. It sucks when your gopro tilts after a crash and you keep flying recording the floor lol. good thing you checked on the drone after the crash. quick tip don't leave your goggles where the sun light shines into the lenses that could damage the screen. Also im Subscribed keep those videos coming!!!

If you are bad at flying, dont start with a gopro, also, from what Im seeing from some moves and corrections, you are the thumber instead of a pincher I guess... Im not yet good myself, I even stopped training in SIM on the DJI remote and going for full size gimbal remote... else might learn bad muscle memory.
I cant thumb to save my life lol. pinching just feels natural to me.
@@andrewmedia3568 Aaah thats good idd. What I can recommend which was really odd for me but suddenly increased my precision, was to force yourself to hoover as long as you can. You have to have very precise throttlecontrol, it's like my brain does a "finger calibration" because you do such little movements. It's weird to explain, but after 15mins of practicing that, and then started flying normal again, it got sooo much easier to fly very low and smooth. Give it a try (in sim)

Im flying for less than a year and i crashed only twice 2failsafe after doing 150+ hours of liftoff and uncrashed. U should practice my guyP

Not sure really saw the skyliner on RR and it looked solid to me. iflight is super popular for good reason, maybe ill pick one up soon.

Curious, isn't the 03 Air Unit's video better than the Hero 7? Why still mount the go pro?
Yes better than the hero 7 but not better than the hero 9,10,11. Also filming with the o3 half the screen is spinning props at least with this frame.
You can use that DJI FPV remote with the 03 now?
yes the dji remote 2 binds right up with the O3, no hassle. 🤘

No 😂 upgraded to the hero 9 soon after and have been running it since then. Back screen of the hero 9 is broken now but does not affect the functionality in any way. 🤘

ok, but the coolest thing you do in any of your videos is a not-so-juicy flick, an out-of-power loop, and a hell-Naw spin without the horizon locked in... so, really you should stop talking shit, it's not about who is better or worse you absolute child, it's about going out and having fun with toys.
