Nice flying, beautiful spot! I am thinking about getting the Tern LR40 as my "get back into the hobby" quad. I mostly just want to cruise around the treetops here in the mountains. Would you recommend the Tern, or something like the iFlight iH3 O3? I don't want to do crazy freestyle, but would like enough power to do the occasional powerloop or little flip over a tree here and there
absolutely... even with 1300mah it is powerful enough to do freestyle, with 660 or 850s its quite potent... 100kmh plus, and flight times from 5-25 minutes depending on batt pack and style... great range out of the box and rly good basic tuning... although I havent flown any other drones, but a lot of helis. GPS Rescue working like a charm and betaflight 4.5 preinstalled.
I just had fun with it for the last 40 hours, its a GREAT beginners choice not to agressive but enough power to keep having fun when youre flying a while.

Thank you so much for this video! I just purchased the analog version which is great but I’m confused about the included GoPro mount. It only has 2 ears on it rather than the typical 3 that GoPros slot into. I’m not sure how to mount it. Am I missing something?
I don't use go pro, but I think that the factory support it's for the naked go pro 🤔

Hi, to do it you need a diversity RX receiver crossfire or ELRS. I use crossfire.
@@NunoFPV Yes, I also use crossfire. But the antenna is short. I want to change it to a long one, like yours. But I'm afraid the antenna will hit the propeller.

hi, i loved the video. i just got mine yesterday, but i have a question about the propellers. after figuring out the direction, i dont see a place where to put a nut to keep them in place. don't they need to be screwed in so they don't come off?
Hello, thanks !! Yes, they need to be screwed! Search for small plastic bags with screws in the box. You need to apply to for blade. Be sure that you choose the correct ones to not damage the motors!
@@NunoFPV hi and thank you for your response. i just got them on. I'm a big time noob lol. I'm trying to understand betaflight specially how to assign which button does what on the RC. I'm able to arm and disarm. but did you make changes to the configuration that it came with like changing the PID or are the configurations that i came with good enough
@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2ob no problem 😀. Mine it's flying with stock pids (flies great). I only changed the rates to my personal ones !!

Hi, I've only flown with it once but if I remember correctly I think it went over 100km/h!
