Management of acute pain in patients with opioid use disorders can be challenging, and many clinical questions arise when patients are already on medication-assisted treatment. This webinar focuses on management of acute pain and control of pain and cravings in the perioperative period for patients who are taking methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone for opioid use disorder. Led by an inpatient provider and a hospitalist, the session will cover practical steps for achieving analgesia and preventing relapse.
