You must be thrilled that there are no apparent leaks in your new roof. The door frame conundrum is rather odd. Presumably the right side dropped through the floor. Are you able to lift the drooped side back up and attach it to the architrave? Comedienne, Leanne Morgan, says her daughter once asked her if Jesus ever had lice. Her reply was, "I don't know, but if he did, I'm sure he cured it." I suggest saying a prayer for guidance. All will be cured in time. ❤ from TX!
Give the vinegar and salt a chance! I've been using it for a couple of years now and prefer it to the cost and issues surrounding that commercial product you seem to like. Vinegar & salt takes a little longer and uses a little more of the mix to be effective, but still so much cost savings. Best results if you cut off the weed tops and spray into the root hole.

If I may make a recommendation for the weeds… You mentioned the vinegar & salt mixture… If you will add Dawn dishwashing detergent it will make a huge difference & not be poisonous to anything but the weeds!!.. Recipe for 1 gallon of water, 1cup of vinegar, 1Tbs Dawn & 1/2 to 1cup cup of salt … add to your sprayer… KILL WEEDS!! Hope it works for you guys!!..
Last summer, we hosted two 15-year-old young ladies, one from France, the other from Spain. During the weekday, they went to school to improve their English, which was already excellent, and during the weekends, they socialized with classmates and us as we showed them the sites of Southern Ontario. As seniors, it was nice to have youngens around, and it was educational for us as well. After a month, we were sad to see them go, but we hope they will have some lifelong memories.
Being able to experience Europe while studying is amazing. Our 3 sons all attended school in Germany for 6 years of their lives. Even though they were attending American schools they had joint programs with the German students. The view they have on history amazing me all the time. The fact that they were able to visit so many other countries was a nice perk too!
I am completely fascinated with form of education… I know it’s a selfless act, but my goodness what an experience in all forms of education… thanks Rob, Leslie and all students for sharing
Rob I think the doorframe has been that way strikes me as always being crooked… Rob don’t be bullied, roundup if used correctly is a very effective product and save to use. You know Rob there is RUclips University; it can’t be that complicated of a machine to fix, frankly I think your lawnmower is worse and you are a wiz at that! 😊

From experience, lemme say: The vinegar+salt weedkiller is not a long term solution, first and foremost because it doesn't kill the roots. The quantity of vinegar needed to tackle your weeds will be expensive, caustic to your skin (only cleaning-strength vinegar works), AND in that quantity could change the pH of the soil.
Rob is the travel itinerary the same for all class groups? Looked nice and busy so definitely a great learning for the students from the USA. The Chateau is looking smicko, you have done a great job with the lawns and the hedge(looking good as well) remember be safe, take care and God Bless 🙏😇🏰

At the end of that week, I cried alligator tears to leave - so I fully understand the bonds that are formed. On a side note, I applaud your perseverance with that boxwood hedge of yours. I have seen other videos where folks have given up. In fact, I think they have stopped planting box in some areas. Well done 👏👏👏
great vlog, have you ever considered running monthly charts on how each of the unused upstairs rooms are looking each month, maybe take a video of each room, date stamp it, that way you can keep a thorough update on how the rooms are, it would show any subtle changes that you might not necessarily see when walking through during a casual visit to the top floor 🙂

Roundup is so toxic to the environment especially the birds,squirrels,chipmunks and has been linked to many types of cancers in humans..
