42. Explaining the Anchor

Pictures in your document are associated with a given paragraph on the page. The anchor symbol lets you know which paragraph, and you can move the anchor to link the image to another paragraph. It's not just for sailors.
The anchor trick works only for certain types of image formatting, basically any format other than Inline With Text. Anchors aweigh!

To ensure that the image shows up near the same paragraph where the image is cited. Otherwise, due to editing or formatting, the image may appear on another page.
