    Pure class!!
I remember, decades back, John Mayall.announced his first ever tour to New Zealand. Blueslovers like myself dived out and bought tickets immediately. However kiwi crowds are notorious for walking up on the night of the show so pre sales of tickets were only average. There was still a buzz of excitement around that he was even coming here.
Then it was announced that pre sales were not sufficient to warrant the trip.....and he cancelled.
He'll never know that he was absolutely guaranteed a full house, just like Roy Buchanan, just like Sonny Terry and Brownie Mcghee before him... and he never came back. 😫

He looks like that guy who picks up a guitar at guitar center. And goes nuts. Until he’s escorted out the door. Over a million views. Obviously it’s all people care about. I should look like I’m having a seizure every solo I play. Rip Mr Mayall.

Was this released on VHS? I remember seeing Albert King's Maintenance Shop Blues VHS when I borrowed it from a local library years ago.

Yep, that's what I like about it, only the crowd really sucks, which is usually the case with small crowds.

It‘s late 80s. The Montoya/Trout Bluesbreakers. Saw them in Germany in 1987 or 88 twice.

He plays great but a bloke on a blue strat??? Listen to the original stuff...eric/king - also gary moore (the purist player ott) This is showtime...but it isn't rock'n'roll & it certaintly ain't the blues. Willy showing stuff. Mayall you still blossoming but you're off your roots. No Soul. Lick flashing killing off the original spirit. Great stuff but so far away from Sir Robert Johnson. That was good & very real.

Walter is as an authentic blues player as there has ever been. He has hauled his ass all over the world in the back of a van. He's definitely no show-off rock star. He has literally toured whilst being at deaths door. I've seen him play shows in a chair because he couldn't even stand up due to liver problems. He played for John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton and Percy Mayfield as well as the Bluesbreakers.
