I think CA really got inspired by a lot of the modders popular implementation and their furniture pieces and added them to the vanilla game for console players to also enjoy. Still so much quality of life and tweaks to the game many years after release, seriously one of my favorite devs truly.
This is actually true, several features of popular mods have been added to vanilla. CA is just awesome.
that dining area could also make a nice Pantry for food storage or maybe a mini brewery with kegs and such
There is actually one more house renovation: you can "open" the dining room, i.e. removing the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, just like what you can do with the bedroom.
If only CA let us have our own sunroom,like Caroline have,or bigger basement
I forgot just how beautiful your town and farm are in this save. Nice to see it again and see the new house additions etc. I've not loaded up any of my old saves - I went with the new Meadowland farm and I am enchanted, delighted and in love with it!!! Was it what I expected? No. But is it making me revamp and rethink how I play? Oh yes!! And that is in itself so refreshing!!

Maybe with this update the modders will have new ideas and then there will be a lot of fresh and new contents to add and explore!
I was intently watching you buy rooms and then the furniture when the music came on I jumped lol thank you for the awesome videos about the update :) You are always my first choice for any Stardew Valley content
I actually wonder if turtle will have also some 'home' as dog has doghouse and cat has that fuzzy lay tree thing, I seen no turtle thing sold but maybe after it is acquired or somewhere else it could be, and I wonder if pets use their items
I was hoping for more room for casks
If you're okay playing with mods then the automate mod permits casks anywhere, you just have to use a chest to put items in them. I just checked and it has been updated for 1.6.
If you can/want to use mods and you want something that feels like vanilla Stardew there's a mod that allows u to purchase a new building from robin where you can put your casks in, I think it's called New Building - Winery or something similar

the wandering trader sells a Retro catalogue and Krobus sells a Wizard catalogue. Im not sure if the Winter Market sells a furniture catalogue my Main save is going through Autumn right now.

The update for consoles and mobiles will be out, the PC versions just comes out first, not sure when, but they did say it shouldn't take too long so hopefully within next few weeks🤞

But but how much are the original additions cost ? My understanding is to remove crib, add the corner room and southern room that exist in 1.5 will now also cost. I add thouse as soon as I upgrade the 2nd time because --. I use the house instead of a shed 😂. I don’t really decorate and I would use all extra rooms for kegs and jars. But that was really apart of the 50k update as they were free so now not only will the update itself cost more but I think all renovations will also cost. 😢. May have to rethink sheds 😅. Note I am on mobile so o can’t just start a new game and check. I do want a little time before it’s released on mobile as I never did ginger island and would like to do that on 1.5 first but I hope it isn’t too long ( a few weeks? )

This was literally me an hour ago. Still redecorating house. Not sure how many days passed. I wish we could be paused while decorating. Maybe now I even return the crib and get a kid...how much are kids demanding? Kinda lame they don't grow up at least the point of being teens rdy to move out lol....oh well maybe in 1.7 update around 2050.

That ladder should have been the attic upgrade that takes you to a separate screen just like the basement does. Kind of disappointed with that one.

@@alysonpino2450 exactly! And did the original commenter even listen to the lyrics? I think that was a pretty well-chosen and apt song. It took me by surprise, but it was a fun and pleasant one even if it’s not my style and I do enjoy the Stardew soundtrack.
